Carson absolutely wrecked my hair. Asked for curtain bangs and left looking like a kindergartener took scissors to my hair. Owner tried to help half way through to fix it. It was a lost cause. Literally left in tears. Still asked to pay full price and they showed me a screen asking for a tip with the minimum option of 20%. Ridiculous and never coming back. If I come to your salon to get a professional cut and you have to stop halfway through and ask your boss to help you figure out how to cut it because you're not doing it right, maybe you need to rethink if you're qualified to cut hair as a professional. I had an excellent first experience. When I arrived to make an appointment, Rita and Sheena were very friendly and welcoming. They listened to what I was thinking of doing for my cut and color and offered helpful suggestions. I made my first appointment with Lauren. I showed her some pictures of what I had in mind. Lauren knew exactly what to do. She explained the cut and showed me an example of the color. It had been nearly three years since my last cut and color, and after my consultation with Lauren, I knew I was at the right place. Lauren nailed it! I went in for the first time (after they kindly accommodated my last minute schedule change) and asked for highlights and my hair trimmed. Sheena just said ok so I thought here we go again, I'll barely be able to tell anything is done and the search for the perfect salon/stylist goes on. Not the case! My color is perfect, my cut is perfect (not sure how she can just cut half of an inch and make it look so good but she did) and she's fast which is great for a busy schedule! Awful. I had an appointment with Lindsey on 3/16 and she did great with my hair but the experience was disgustingly bad. First of all she had a terrible attitude, second she splashed toner product in my eye that burned pretty bad and then laughed about it and asked "if I was going to make it". Last, I was charged 45.00 for her to style my hair with curls. If I had known it would be that much, I would have said no. I'm disappointed and will NOT be going back. read more

She can't make any color that you ask for. She says she can but at the end the result will be another color and horrible. They charge you a lot for a disgusting result. I was in my sister's wedding as she made us appointments to get our hair done at Studio 1 Hair Design. We were greeted on a Saturday morning with a smile and a warm welcome (and congratulations to the bride). They had mimosas and bagels set out for us, which made the experience even better (AMAZING)! They accommodated the bridal party in a timely manner. They were very organized and made our party feel very special (not just like another wedding party). My hair is very thick and can take a lot of work for an up do. I was very pleased with my hair. It looked amazing and it even held for the 16 hour day (and probably would have never fallen if I never took the pins out to wash it)! If I was not having a destination wedding, I would definitely have my hair done at Studio 1 Hair Design! We did not just feel like clients, we felt like we were invited into their home. They were able to get all of us finished in a timely manner, so we were able to stay on schedule, and most importantly, our hair looked fabulous and held for the long day ahead (it even survived a rain storm)! The bride had her makeup done and I wish I would have done the same....she looked absolutely stunning! As a side note, my sister gets her hair cut at Studio 1 Hair Design and always loves it (I live too far away), so if you are in the St. Charles/O'Fallon area, you definitely need to check out Studio 1 Hair Design! read more

Worst hair cut I have ever gotten. It was supposed to be fringe on the sides. She took too much off and it is just stringy. I waited to post this hoping it would get better. I booked a same day appointment early one morning to have my hair dyed -- I was basically done with this balayage thing I had going on with my hair. I searched through all of Yelp to find somewhere that had perfect reviews and found this location about 25 mins away from my home - off of highway K. Definitely worth the drive. The salon is very clean and very spacious. Amy was my stylist and she was friendly and great. Not sure what kind of dye she used but my hair has never felt so amazing and I've washed it a few times since my appointment and my hair still feels wonderful!! It's never been so soft and smooth...especially after a dye job. She also gave me a cut - I wanted to keep the length and she did just so! In the end she styled it to perfection and I was able to keep it for a few days. So far I'm loving this salon and can't wait for future appointments!! read more

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!! I DO NOT recommend this place. Beware..... I wish they had a ZERO STAR rating. I'm a guy. HORRIBLE experience. I visited this salon based on the review on Google.... boy was that a mistake. I had to go back to the salon the next day to repair the damage, and the girl that created the problem (Angie) would not take the time to fix the mess. Fortunately, one of the gals was available to fix the problem. But that required me to cut all my hair off.... back off the ears, back off the collar.... I have at least a year or more before my hair will grow out from this hack job. I had long hair covering my ears and collar, and by the time Angie finished, I had an uneven haircut that really looked horrible. She really created the definition of a "BAD HAIRCUT". read more

I want everyone to know that Sharon trashed my hair. Sharon and the old lady at the desk are the worst. She has 18yrs of experience and zero people skills. Never go to this salon EVER!! It was the worst experience of my life, dealing with this. I have my credit card company going after them since they refuse to refund me or even answer my phone calls. Her application of color is horrible, for someone who owns and operates a salon. I've spent hundreds of dollars correcting my hair. They take ZERO pride in their work. Huge shout out to the girls at EUPHORIA SALON for saving my hair! I don't want anyone else to suffer for 3 months like me color correcting a supposed professional stylists work. This is the best salon to go to in St Charles County. They offer a wide variety of services (hair and nails) and have a brand new beautiful salon. The stylists are all great and I never have trouble getting an appointment in. The price is very reasonable and I wouldnt trust my hair anywhere else. read more

I made an appointment (same day, a few hours in the future) to get a cut, come in about 20 minutes early as my previous appointment took very little time. I wait for about 15 minutes and then get told that due to someone else's appointment at 4, that I wasn't going to be seen. The stylist was attempting to fit me in, but the receptionist was insistent that she didn't have time. To say I was shocked is an understatement. Regardless of if someone makes an appointment 5 minutes before or 5 days before, if you schedule an appointment for someone, you should ensure that it's available. read more

To be completely fair, I heard about this place through groupon and was having a very crazy day, so I did not remember to make an appointment. However, I went in and had to wait for the receptionist to take a 15 minute phone call. When she was finally done chatting, I told her that I had the groupon and she immediately stiffened and was not as friendly as she was to her customer on the phone. She told me that I could be seen in fifteen minutes and that things were very tight with the groupon because only 2 stylists were actually participating in the deal. (This was not specified in the groupon!) She was just very rude and snarky the whole time, then told me to sit and they would call me when they were ready. After waiting for an hour (while the salon was completely empty!) several ladies walked in and were seen to right away. The rudeceptionist walked up to me and told me that I could come back in four hours or reschedule for a different day, with no apology. Needles to say I got my groupon refunded. And I will NEVER set foot in that place again. read more

I went to this salon to get my haircut. My appointment was at 4:30 upon arrival I was told they could not take me until 5:30. I waited and then I told them I have dermatitis and they put on gloves and examined my head and then refused to cut my hair because I had some behind my ear and I might infect the shears. Really you make me wait an hour and then refuse to cut my hair because of a non contagious skin condition. Also my daughter had an appointment and there was an accident on the highway so all traffic was rerouted down Highway K and she called to let them know she would be late and they said she would have to cancel her appointment. Ladies avoid this place because their treatment of you does not matter to them. read more
