When we ran into a "snag" during our first day of digging, Tim and his team came up with a solution quickly and worked with us, while we came up with an alternative dig layout location. When we came home, we saw that water was leaking out of the pool. They did not connect the heater and left with the pool full of leaves. This ment that since they had closed the pool in September, they closed it without cleaning it. I called and left a message- no return call. Called 6 more times, left 4 messages on the machine and 2 messages with a person who said both times, "I will have Susan call you." No call from Susan. So, as far as they know, they left me with water leaking and no heater but they don't care. In addition when I took a water sample to D and R they noted that no chlorine was added to the pool when they opened it. So I paid Stone Pools $208 for nothing! DO NOT USE STONE POOLS! Horrible!

At 11:30 I called to check and was told that I would receive a call by noon with an update. I never received a call and only reached their voice mail for the remainder of the day. At 10:30 the following day I received a call from the office stating that she had an emergency and had to leave at noon the previous day but that the technician was supposed to have called me. She insured me that I would receive a call from her no later than 1:30 that afternoon with a time or she would give me the technicians number so I could stay in contact with him. She never called me back and I am still sitting here with a broken hot tube.

Unfortunately the negatives are what make me not want to recommend this company to another person. For me personally, communication is extremely important and sadly this person fails massively in this category. I am very understanding of small businesses. My husband had his own business and worked solo for quite some time so I completely empathize with how hard it can be. Trust me when I say I want nothing more than to support local small businesses vs big chain companies but I wouldn't be doing anyone any favors if i didn't provided a honest review of my experience. I initially contacted him and let him know what we needed help with. He said it was something he could do but it would be at least three days before he could make it out and to send him our address. We had no issue with that at all and were more than willing to wait for whenever he was ready. We understand it is a very busy season. When he finally told us that he could come out at a certain day and time, my husband planned that day to be off work. That day and time came and went and we hadn't heard one word from him nor did he answer our calls when we tried to find out what happened. This lack of communication continued the entire time it took him to finish the work. It was frustrating to be expecting something and to continually change around our days to accommodate his schedule only to essentially be stood up. It was a constant guessing game if he would show or not. It seems like he needs some sort of help with time management or an assistant to make calls for him and keep his customers informed.
