An interior drain was installed to fix the water problem. I also had a sump pump pit that needed to be dug deeper. The bottom of the pit had a 6 inch concrete base that needed to be removed. I had patched up the one main hole but had concerns about the cracks in the walls (which the foundation inspector told me I needed to dig out and fill in with epoxy). Grant spent the next twenty minutes with me schooling me in the simplicity of "how water gets into a basement." He walked around my basement and outside and pointed out the things that needed to be addressed (window wells, grading, guttering, pitch of driveway, etc.). All in all, he was very straightforward in telling me that I needed to work on those things and work backwards. That this was a simple process of eliminating the issues of why water is coming into a basement and there was no need for his company to do anything at this time. I could have hugged him. I had been preparing myself to ask whether he wanted an arm or leg as payment and he let me keep both along with dignity. It is such a blessing to find a company in a trade that is so honest. I plan on making a point of telling anyone who will listen about my experience and if and when I still am having issues with my basement I know exactly who I will be calling.

I had 3 bids before his and he was the only one that took the time to take video and pictures and actually show me what was going on with my foundation. He was careful to explain the work that was needed. He stuck to the timeline and cost estimate-both of which were very reasonable and lower than all the competition. Maddy T in the office kept me up to date on the start date timeline and made payment super easy. She was a delight to work with. Cody, the GM, was on site during the renovation and was diligent with leveling out and measuring the progress--several times. He and Diego, the foreman, were great with communication. Diego and his crew picked up after work each day and on the last day, they left my yard in perfect shape. They took after pictures to compare with the before and checked in with me before leaving each day to update progress. I AM SO HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS! Pyramid Foundation Repair came to our rescue. We needed some serious work done to our foundation…read moreafter buying out house. We needed 3 of the 4 sides dug up all the way down to the footers of the foundation, all the wall cracks fixed and patched, all walls waterproofed, new drain tile installed, new sump pump installed, 2 piers put in under our concrete front stoop, all backfilled with clean gravel topped with soil. This was extensive work that helped take the water pressure (Hydrostatic pressure) off the walls and stop the leaks. The entire team were incredible nice and professional. The price for all that work was the best I had seen out of all the companies (5) that I called to give me bids. I would 100% hire them again, and intend to as we have some piering that still needs to be done on the opposite side of the house. Pyramid truly cares about providing a quality product for the customer. Great company and great work.

BEWARE! If I could give this company ZERO stars I would. They did a horrendous job grading our…read moreyard, and placed way too much dirt so our fence is bowing and now needs to be replaced - fence companies are concerned with replacing our fence because this company just piled dirt up and the ground is so uneven. When this was brought to their attention, I was told they couldn't safely get their machine beside the fence so the dirt would have to settle naturally. Guess that, three years later and it has not. And this was only told to us after complaining about the appalling job. They sodded our yard and placed straw which they failed to secure so it blew all over the place including our neighbors yard and our driveway. Since they are a drain company we expected expertise with drains in our yard. Instead they just cut the drains and left them up against our fence which eventually flooded our neighbors yard. We had to have a reputable company come out and reset the drains so we weren't flooding our neighbors yard. Also, as a drain company, you should know that drains need to be placed four feet from the neighbors yard (learned that from the reputable company that fixed the drain issues). When we asked for them to come fix their unacceptable work, they refused without charging additional money. I wrote a negative review on Google and they requested I take down the review - in exchange they offered to seed our yard instead of fixing their mistakes. BUT they placed so much cheap seed when they originally sodded our yard that we've been dealing with weeds for over three years now - paying companies to try and fix their mess and we still have weeds. Their abysmal work is an atrocious gift that keeps on giving. We had to spend additional money to fix the drains and now we may have to spend additional money to regrade our yard (which is what we paid them to do). Every year their deplorable work just causes us more money and headaches! I've reached out, asking for a partial refund to meet them half way and I was ignored. Beware!

King Piers was able to get us on their schedule within a week. King Piers was more expensive and I didn't feel as comfortable with the man who did the estimate, however, the guy who physically did the work was kind and knowledgeable. My husband spoke with him multiple times throughout the process and said he seemed really experienced and confident but he wasn't arrogant. There was a miscommunication on our end, I misunderstood the scope of work. I was out of town and having to FaceTime in to see what was happening. As soon as my husband even dared to question the process the owners son got really annoyed, rude and, somewhat aggressive. As soon as he deemed us a potential problem he didn't listen to what we were saying and just kept repeating himself "Did you read the estimate? Do you want me to call my dad?" So...take that for what you will. They started very loud work very early, we had multiple complaints from neighbors frustrated that the concrete was being dug/drilled so early. The posts are seemingly solid, our floor is level, and the addition to the back of our home that was sliding is seemingly secure. Though they were more expensive than the other estimate, I didn't feel that the price was outrageous. Did they technically get the job done? Yep. Would I recommend them? Maybe?
