We put off our foundation repair for too many years because we knew it would cost a fortune but when we decided to sell our house, it was time. We had two other bids, and the one we thought we'd go with never got back to us with the formal estimate, so a friend recommended Spartan. Their estimate was fair and the work they promised was what we expected. Our front and back walls were cracked and shifting and one side wall was starting to bow. Despite our concern that the side wall needed a lot of work like the other two, they told us repeatedly that the wall was not cracked and shifting and only needed braced to keep it in place. They raised and straightened the front and back walls, placed 14 braces on the three walls, and waterproofed, filled, and injected all of the cracks. All of this came with a lifetime guarantee - that stays with the house when we sell - which is what sold us. Knowing we can show potential buyers that guarantee eases every bit of anxiety I had about the repair when selling the house. The workers were very nice and very professional, even to my retired neighbor who hung out and watch them work all day. I had drainage placed in my backyard. The drain boxes are crooked with two sitting higher than the ground. Loose/ incorrect size of pipe that connects to gutter. Water is not properly flowing out. Crew was very disrespectful. Just one example: they were urinating behind my shed. read more

The crack in the foundation was fixed and then it started to rain and rain. Water flooded the basement more than ever and Ramjack came back and fixed the outside. But the damage from the water inside, they refused to admit their poor workmanship had caused the damage. I have paid out over $20,000 for removal of mold, new library paneling along with new carpet for the entire basement. I would not recommend RamJack to anyone! read more

These are some of the most disrespectful group of people I think I have ever met. They lied at every step and made so many mistakes with our home that they openly admitted to using my home as an example of what not to do. They showed up late every day and left early, a week turned into two months. It took us calling them back 10 times to get the job done correctly and that was only because of our due-diligence with the work being done. At every step they have made it clear that they don't care about their customers. I bought my great grandmothers home, 17 years ago she used them to do work and paid 20k and it all failed. Now we have spent 20k (40k altogether over the span of 17 yrs) to get it fixed and make it right and my foundation looks worse now than it did. They also overcharged for an extra pier and it took us over a month to get them to give us that money back. We had a worker that lied about the work he did, said our garage was done, we needed to poly jack it, and then told my father the next day it wasn't safe to park in there ever because of the void. We were paying them to fill that void, so we called his supervisor and then the worker called me and yelled at me and then that day took a dump in our basement toilet and of course didn't flush. After all the wonderful reviews we read before choosing this company we could not believe how horrible they truly were at the end of the day. I just hope my review will save somebody from the awful experience we had. read more

After contacting several companies that wanted to tackle water infiltration inside my basement, rather than stopping it from coming in, I contacted Spartan. I was the selling agent on a townhouse and through my recommendation, the Seller used this company to perform bracing work. The work was done per engineer's specifications, and passed on re-inspection. However, they would not return my phone calls to get clarification on work to be done. And the cost was high in compared to other companies I have used (for the past 23 years).Clear communication is essential to a good working relationship. Won't recommend again. read more

Thanks to the crew of Spartan Foundation Repair, my husband and I came home from work to find our yard completely torn up, dirt in our driveway, large piles of dirt in our yard and their track hoe in our backyard. Kicker - we were not having foundation repair done, our neighbor was. No one came to talk to us about the damage being caused to our property even when the crew saw us outside multiple times. My husband had to go and ask them how they would repair our yard. Needless to say we are livid that they did not engage in proper etiquette, or any etiquette at all.
