Just picked up a truck from Midway PowerSports. I picked it up for my nephew who is in the Armed Forces, and is currently in Aphganastan fighting for our country. He bought the truck online, wanting to have a nice truck to come home to at the end of his deployment. The truck was not as advertised. Not all damage disclosed. Would it have been that difficult for them to throw a fifty dollar pair of brakes on the truck so we could make it the 900 hundred mile trip back home? I think not. Had to stop 50 miles from car lot to have new brakes installed, though they said they mechanically checked it out. Nice way to thank our service men fighting for your freedom a******!! read more

Courtney the Sales Manger is truly Just a Salesman does not follow through with anything that he might tell you.He misrepresented the boat that they had listed on Ebay.Listen to Ebay do not Buy off line from them you have NO protection. I drove from Atlanta to pickup the boat when I arrived it was not even clean, Speedometer was broken, radio, trailer turn signal lights, tachometer did not work. Also the left pontoon had water in it had to get repaired. I made a huge mistake by assuming they would be honest & take care of a least the radio & pontoon having a leak. but Courtney basicly told me to take my boat out on the closet lake & jump In. I have probably bought 35 cars in my life and have never had such a bad experience. I called to ask if a truck had head studs installed. They said yes.I told them I would take the truck if it had head studs and gave them a deposit. Later I saw the bad reports about the place and owner Kyle McCoy. I called back to make sure they were telling the truth before driving 500 miles to pick up the truck. The kid said he would check again and call back. He calls back and says he made a mistake and it does not have head studs. I say I don't want the truck and he tells me I gave him a nonrefundable deposit. McCoy gets on the phone and is totaly unprofessional and a jerk in my opinion. I take the day off and go down there. The truck is a pile of junk. Engine blowby, which he stated in his add 3 times it did not have. Steering wheel almost shook out of my hands at highway speed. McCoy couldn't have been a bigger jerk in my opinion. Denied everything. Lies to my face and then offers to have his mechanic fix it while I wait. Then he drops price. Truck was, in my opinion, unsafe to drive. He refuses to refund deposit. After an argument he agrees in writing to refund full amount but won't do so untill deposit clears his account. I go to leave and he comes out says he won't give the refund. I tell him my bank advised me to file a police report. McCoy says go ahead. I went to State Polce and the detective said States attny would knock it down to civil matter but call McCoy and tell him if he doesn't give the refund he will call in an hour to investigate him for fraud by deception. I call McCoy and he says he will refund half of deposit if I don't like it take him to court and he will delay it so many times and I will have make so many trips down that I will never get the refund. This guy has played this game before. I made a lot of mistakes but the biggest one was trusting this guy in the beginning.He has no problem lieing to your face with no intention of following through. I told him when I asked for directions up the road the people said to stay away from him because a lot of people have complained. He became very angry and demanded I tell him who said it. I refused. This outfit has been dishonest and threatening. Intended to buy a car from them on ebay. Looked good in the item description and the price was fantastic. Before sending them $1000 deposit, checked the BBB and found 17 complaints against them in the last two years for advertising and marketing dishonesty, poor customer service, and downright threatening behavior. I purchased an airplane ticket to pick up the van. After reading their BBB complaints I became uneasy and concerned about sending them money and whether I should even go through with the transaction. I would hate to have a one way ticket to Springfield, find the van was not what it was advertised, be out of $1000 deposit, and have to by an inflated plane ticket home. So I called the owner (Courtney) and told him I was uneasy about sending them the $1000 deposit and was concerned about so many BBB complaints. Rather than acting in a professional and understanding manner, he immediately began wielding his heavy hand and his tone became overbearing and threatening. The conversation got worse when he had his internet/ebay manager (Kyle) give me a call. It wasn't long in the conversation before collections, attorneys, and damaging my credit report sliced through the phone. Kyle and Courtney lied about ebay policies to release personal information for collections as well as the contract on ebay for vehicles. Kyle's words were 'I have been doing this for 11 years......' Another strong arm collections tactic to get money from me. They even sent me an email to tell me to pay them $500 for their trouble or they would turn the information over to their collections attorney. I would hope their attorney and internet manager are aware that ebay policy for vehicles and real estate auctions are classified by ebay as 'Non-binding'. They do not consider auctions to be binding because their are so many more legal requirements that must be signed by both parties before its a legal contract. We have all bought cars from dealers and open mortgages on a house....we know the amount of paperwork and witnessing that is required. Again this company showed their true colors and I would highly recommend you are cautious when dealing with them. read more

What can I say? The customer service here is horrible. When you first get there of course they`re going to pitch their best salesman persona. However after you have down the payment it all goes downhill from there. This is my experience with Midway Powersport. I really hope you read all of this and take it into deep consideration before deciding to purchase from them. When we first got there the salesman was extremely nice. Me being the altruist I am believe that everyone is good. After we downed for the car, with guarantee that the car would be taken off all their advertisement and the title would be directly faxed over to our bank, we recieved the biggest BSing of our lives. The next day we waited for the title and it never got faxed over to the bank, let me tell you that the salesman was complete sure that he was going to fax it over. As the day went by still no title faxed. We called them and the salesman was unavailable. We waited then called them again. This time we got a hold of the secretary who said "I`m faxing the papers over right now. You will recieve it in a bit here." Waited and wait, still no title. We called a third time and was finally able to get a hold of the salesman. He told us that he was going to take a look at the title, fax it, then give us a call back, thirty minutes later still no call so we finally called them back...and here`s the highlight of the story! They tell us that they DON`T have the title with them. It is in KANSAS with their sister company and will not recieve it in the mail until say maybe....Thursday, Friday? When they already promised us pick up for Wednesday or Thursday. So we asked them why on Earth would you tell us that you have the title with you and now tell us that you don`t have it with you. His evasive reply? "I`m just the salesman, I don`t take care of the paperworks" LAUGH OUT LOUD EXCUSE. My counter to that? First of all maybe you shouldn`t have spoken like you knew all the details about the title and oh so confident about this transition going through smoothly, sending it over, etc, etc... Second your secretary well she is full of bull too isn`t she? To tell someone that she is "faxing it right now and you should recieve it in a bit here." To top all this off we go to their website and see that the car that we have DOWNED for it still posted up in their advertisement. We mentioned it to the salesman he said "I`m going to go in right now and ask them to take it off," BECAUSE ONCE AGAIN he doesn`t deal with the internet posting. Well that was around the afternoon, now it`s ten at night and still...the car is posted for advertisement. Well I could say more but after reading all this I hope you`ve come to your own conclusion and REALLY, REALLY reconsider buying from this dealership.
