went in for oil change the did this in a timely manner. tried to leave and my car wouldn't shift out of 1st and was dumbing white smoke everywhere after I was 5ft out of their lot. I immediately took it back and told them the problem. they then stated they didn't get a pie secured back properly. Gave me another oil change then didn't screw in the bolts on the bottom of my car that protect the oil pan. Nothing but consistency in the worse service we have ever had from this dealership. read more

Was never able to get my truck serviced due to this dealership taking the human interaction aspect out of the experience. I made an appointment online, got a text that I would have my appointment "confirmed" soon, never got that text and called the dealership multiple times with no answer. I called the sales department which was answers by a human, although this makes sense.... They make the money, but out of the 6 times I called the service department I got stuck in the automated system. Called and told Canon my frustrations, he said he would transfer me to the service department manager which didn't happen. I got transferred to the operator who then transferred me to your terrible automated maze! Do better.... But you've lost this customer. read more

Today was our first purchase from Tri-Lakes Ford Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. We went there to look at a new Ford F-150 XLT truck yesterday. We drove a new 2022 F-150 and loved it but with the current chip challenge in the U.S., some of the standard technical stuff was deleted from this new vehicle. We decided to wait and go home and give it more thought before a purchase. While browsing the inventory on-line at Tri-Lakes I noticed that they had a used 2022 F-150 with only 12,000 miles on it and that vehicle had the technology we were looking for. What a pleasant surprise when we called back and spoke with Lori Usery, our sales professional, to find out that Tri-Lakes was going to allow us to purchase this used truck and honor the same trade value and agreement as if we were purchasing that new F-150. Not many dealerships are so honest that no matter what vehicle you want the trade in offer is the same value on new or used. Sales people sloppy dressed and lackadaisical attitude. Went to Pinegar and people were nicely, dressed and much more professional.

So they decided to allow a VA automobile grant for us to get a vehicle. My husband is 100% disabled veteran of the gulf war. The VA has had some computer issues and our paperwork wasnt put in and there has been a delay. So, I talked to the dealership and said we would come in the following week if they hadnt received word yet from the VA and work out payments or something until the full check came in. They agreed. Then less than 24 hours later on a weekend - when we have zero recourse - they send a tow truck to repo the truck. The money arrangement was with the VA not us. My husbands meds were in there and it was our only transpo. Now because they took everythig and didnt allow us access to get our stuff out my husband is now in ICU and may not make it out. The paperwork they turned into the VA clearly says the financial obligation is with the VA. They are going to pay the truck off it is just taking some time - they are treating us like we did something wrong. So all you Veterans out there - beware, I wouldn't give a dime to a place that did this to a man who risked his life for this country and did everything by the book for this grant that they decided to honor and then without even a a warning took it away that caused a domino effect and now my husband is fighting for his life! I called and emailed several times begging to let us at least come get his meds and the cash we had in the console. No one returned a call or an email. NO ONE! read more

Since buying my vehicle I have had an oil change, tire rotation, and my vehicle in service due to a headlight issue. They did not find what was causing the issue the first time and had me bring the vehicle back again and leave it over night, which is fine due to issuing me a rental. The work was completed and I have not had an issue since! They are very good about sending email reminders for maintenance and coupons in the mail! I contacted tri-lakes after an long & arduous journey after a specific model , with specific features that , in the class /make/model is not an easy find especially in a crunch . I got the same answer dealership after dealership , we have looked coast to coast cant find any , but I knew what I wanted and wanted to get it before the end of year. Had service one year they did good job but charged more than promised. Next brought in different vehicle that needed brake work. They showed me brake pads that did not go on car that were bad from a truck . But I had a car with out of state plates. They wanted over $ 1000 dollars . I took my truck to have it repaired.they charged a 175.00 for diagnostic and quoted me 1100.00 for a two hour job and the parts was only 195.00. I called two other Ford dealers one in Springfield and one in Kansas.i was told by both they was price gouging that it was a simple repair and would cost less then 500. To fix.i took it to Springfield it was only 465.00 they are crooked as you can get. I wish I could redo this entire car buying experience and never have stopped at this dealership. My husband and I went in there on the way home from a very stressful doctor appointment with his cardiologist in Springfield. Just to look. Well, you know how that goes. I told them I wanted an All Wheel Drive car. Due to I need to get husband to doctor appointments in all weather. Long story short, we bought a 2013 Ford Edge which we thought was AWD and wasn't. They were not responsive to changing it after 4 days when I finally read the CarFax. Yes, it's my fault. I'm a grown woman. But really that's just shitty as I know they purposely didn't hand me the CarFax because it plainly said FWD. Front Wheel Drive. Also they hard sold us a service contract. They did let me cancel that but I had to drive back up there to sign off. My advice, do NOT buy a car here, go to another dealership and keep your wits about you all the time. Don't trust car sales people and don't buy a car the first time you go in. Go home and research. read more

Refused to work on car with smart start interlock device!! Cost us an extra tow to get vehicle to a shop that will. All someone had to do was call the toll free # on device, plus provided on note, with instructions to hit option 6 to bypass wait and get bypass code for system. This essentially makes it like it's not on the car and takes it out of the equation!! I was informed by smart start they have never had an issue providing code to bypass! They said they have ran into the will to not do so! So bottom line Ford would not take 3 minutes to provide a service we scheduled 3 days in advance, towed vehicle, THEN we're told, we won't work on it! Very disappointed. Not to mention we had a 9am appt and at around 1pm STILL was not touched or looked at. Call to GM got car in bay just to be turned away in minutes! No effort, concern, or customer service!! We only buy Ford and WILL NOT EVER GIVE OUR BUSINESS TO THE BRANSON LOCATION!! read more

I found a used vehicle I was interested in online. I contacted Tim because I had a few questions. He answered them all and double checked the vehicle to verify a key point. He also took the time to take a short video and send it to me via email. We drove 3 hours to the dealership and Tim was ready for us. After looking over the vehicle we noticed a few cosmetic issues and he took the extra time to have the minor scratches buffed out. After we got home I noticed I was missing a keyless entry code and the owners manual. I contacted him via text and he was great, called a few days later and said he was able to get them from the previous owner and is mailing them to me. Tim went above and beyond the call of duty, was honest, sincere and funny! I plan on visiting the area this fall and if nothing else I will pop in to say hi. They sold me a $30,000 jeep with a broken seat. That's right, my driver side seat is sunk in on one side and completely broken. I replaced the cushion from the factory at my own expense just to realize the seat itself was broken. They buy used rental cars from the auction and sell them to you without making sure things aren't broken. I've bought three cars from them and had a similar experience with each one.
