It was such a heartbreaking feeling to think she would never fully smile again. Our experience at Dr. Kuruvadi's office has been so inviting and kind. I always felt welcomed by the staff and really felt like part of their office family. I'm going to miss my visits here! The environment is professional and does not have a corporate (your just a number) feeling at all, I really enjoyed that. They always took care of my scheduling and gave me an affordable payment plan that worked well with my budget. If I ever had pain, they always encouraged me to walk in and fixed the issue right away. They even have another office you can visit in an emergency. They managed to assist us throughout all of COVID, and really excelled at it! I have recommended, and will continue to recommend their office forever! This experience was truly life changing for us, and I am so incredibly thankful to their office for EVERYTHING! Someone tripped me and it chipped my front left tooth. Fast forward to 2018, my ex fiancé hit me in the face with his motorcycle helmet. I wasn't a candidate for oral surgery, and my face shape started changing. My jaw started slipping and I didn't know where to properly rest my teeth in my own mouth. My jaw was constantly inflamed. My smile which was once my greatest asset had became a burden to look at myself in a mirror. I struggled to chew, talk, or yawn. I felt angry all the time. I did pt for 2 years and became frustrated. I did emdr for the trauma. I got an idea from a person I knew to get braces in TJ in 2023 June. I had high hopes it would finally help with my tmj issue because they said so. Treatment meant for one year turned into two and eventually, the trust was gone. They claim to have lost my medical records and panoramic xrays I shared with them. All hope felt lost until I spoke to my dentist about everything. I was then referred to elite orthodontics, from my dentist who had formerly worked with Dr. Ehsani. My first appointment here was for a consult back on February 24. It was fast, and pretty straightforward. I was offered financing options as well. They took panoramic X-rays, dental mapping with mouth wands, and close up inspections. I was torn about how much the price was because I wish I had just gone to Dr. Ehsani from the very start, but we live and we learn, right? Before coming to this office, I developed some tooth sensitivity which my dentist identified as pressure from improper positioning causing enamel wear. Those dentists in TJ recommended something that didn't help, and I used it consistently for a few months. The sensitivity came back (because previous treatment gave a temp fix), which lead me to seek professional advice from both Dr. Ehsani and Dr. Freda. I trust them both, and appreciate that I can always seek a second opinion from either of them. They make a great team, and I feel welcome here. Also if anyone got this far, you should know the banter between the hygienists is worth witnessing. I always come before lunch hour due to my home location near Carlsbad- yes, they're worth the drive. So, if you want to, go ahead and fix your smile. Elite kept me well informed and even recommended me an amazing oral surgeon when I was having trouble finding one that worked with my insurance. The office is clean and has a section for all your braces needs like wax, floss, toothbrushes, etc. there are also three sinks where you can brush and floss before getting your braces tightened. Every visit felt efficient and fast. The techs who tightened my braces were always professional and gentle. Special shoutout to Ashley who always was so friendly anytime she tightened my braces. I saw both Dr Ehsani and Dr Sabet and they were both phenomenal throughout my treatment before and after surgery. The front desk was always responsive and answered all my silly questions via text message. I can't stress how friendly everyone is in the office!! Throughout the entire…read moreprocess, I experienced poor communication, administrative errors, and a general lack of professionalism and tact. The issues began immediately with insurance. The office staff provided incorrect information regarding my coverage, forcing me to handle insurance calls myself. They also delayed submitting necessary paperwork, claiming it "got lost in the mail." Additionally, after my insurance paid out in full, I had to follow up with the office down two months after my insurance companies already paid their part to receive my overpayment refund. I had some unfortunate experiences during my appointments. During an appointment--while payments were paused to sort out insurance--I was falsely accused in front of other patients of missing a payment, and staff offered a sarcastic "have a better day" on my way out. At another visit, an attachment application burned my lip, resulting in a blister, which staff completely denied causing, merely telling me to rinse my mouth. Finally, despite being guaranteed a Vivera retainer as part of my initial plan, I was given an inferior, poorly fitting "in-house" Essix retainer without my knowledge or consent. I was never given any options and I asked specifically at my first appointment if the costs included the permanent Invisalign retainer. There are apparent gaps in it and it's very uncomfortable. I also had a piece of plastic in my mouth when I first put it in. When I spoke directly to the dr to address the lack of transparency, she dismissed the issue, stating the owner and manager would handle it later. Save yourself the frustration and find another orthodontist who values organization, transparency, and professionalism.

Before choosing a provider, we visited 3 different orthodontic offices to compare opinions, treatment plans, and cost. Dr. Gechoff and the staff was pleasant to work with from the beginning! His plan was ultimately the most cost effective and the least invasive for or 7 year old son. (Who had a long road ahead with treatment no matter how we went about it). The appointments have always been reasonable to schedule. And when we have had those pesky wires break, we have not had any issues getting in to get them fixed. After seeing the results of my sons mouth, I ultimately decided to come in for a consult on my lower (overlapping) teeth. I began invisalign for my treatment. The results have been quick, and I havent needed to come in for frequent appointments. It's been easy! I recommend Dr. Gechoff's office for treatment. Get a consult and see! Most recently I had the new digital scanning technology to image a tooth that needed a touchup. The tech was visibly frustrated with the difficulty of scanning my teeth because of my gum recession and exclaimed loudly in front of a room of juvenile patients, their parents, and staff as the seats are lined up with no privacy "Ugh It's your teeth!" I was completely humiliated about a health condition that has caused me severe depression and significant anxiety. Staff are insensitive to adult dental conditions.
