The place was safe, convenient to the interstate and an outlet mall, and a very good price. With all fees, it was $71.50 for a week night stay. This is best for someone who just needs to stay a night, two at most, and don't plan to stay in their room a lot. As for parking, the lot would be fine if everyone just had sedans. When I arrived there, a lot of people were overcompensating with huge pickups. So I ended up parking in a neighboring lot until a spot opened up. By the morning, there were plenty of open spots. One other thing I will mention as a negative is that the doors are a bit loud if you're a light sleeper. So keep that in mind when you're trying to make a decision. I will say that a was surprised that they actually had a continental style breakfast. It wasn't a whole lot - cereal and some bite sized cakes, but most places at this price point have at most stale coffee. Staff there seemed nice, no problems there. TLDR; it's an okay and safe place to grab a few hrs of sleep. Just keep your expectations low

We arrived and looked for the secure parking lot across the street recommended on the check in information we were sent. Nope. The area felt sketchy. There were no cars in the parking lot. It was dark in the lot and there are no barriers keeping anyone out. We did not check in or enter the property. We're traveling across country and didn't feel our vehicle and property in the vehicle would be safe. We're staying somewhere else (where the picture of the well lit lot was taken).

Homegate Inn & Suites was reasonably priced, the current write-ups looked promising, & it was almost 11:30 PM so I made my move in order to guarantee a solid eight hours of much-needed sleep. The front desk attendant was friendly & professional, & the hotel was nice & quiet. My room was HUGE, complete with a sitting area with a desk plus a mini fridge, microwave & coffee pot. While I didn't use any of those amenities, I probably would have if I arrived earlier or stayed longer. Everything was spotless, there were plenty of fresh towels & the pillows were nice & fluffy. Within minutes, I was out like a light & I woke up refreshed & ready to tackle the final leg of my road trip.
