Breakfast the next morning was really good with plenty to eat. The off street gated parking was nice to have.

To be perfectly forthcoming, a huge part of the enjoyment in staying here is the fact that I am a big Elvis Presley fan. Let's be real, you're gonna have a much better time staying here if you're already a fan. Having said that, I feel like this place is elevated enough that even a non-Elvis fan could find enough to enjoy here. Perhaps someone who actively dislikes Elvis wouldn't want to stay here, but if you have no opinion on Elvis or you're only moderately aware of him, you're probably going to love staying at the hotel. To begin with it's a very secure property. The parking lot is patrolled day and night, and there are cameras everywhere. It's well known that Graceland is in the middle of a not so good neighborhood, so it's a good idea that they are this vigilant. Literally every night they throw a party in the lobby with live music and a boisterous atmosphere in the bar. It's always upbeat music that you can tap your foot or even dance to if you're so inclined. Various restaurants are available at various price points. One of the restaurants even puts out complementary peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at 9 PM every night if you're so inclined. All of the usual southern cooking is available including barbecue, fried chicken, and other such comfort foods. The common areas are beautiful, and feature elegant furniture and lighting accoutrements. I've always felt like the lobby was something you might see in a place like Las Vegas or New York. The swimming pool is well maintained and includes various seating options with nice soft towels. I've only been out there once, but I enjoyed my time there immensely. The equipment in the gym could probably use an update, but it is functional and it gets the job done. They were smart to place it viewing the courtyard area rather than the main road. Every time I've ever stayed here I've put in a morning walk on one of the treadmills and it's always worked just fine. The rooms are elegant and make good use of muted colors. Expect to see lots of red and black in your room, along with wood grain finishing on most of the furniture. The beds are typically quite firm if that's your thing, in my case I could probably stand for them to be slightly softer but that's typically not what you find in an American hotel room. I've always enjoyed the showers in the hotel room, which feature a double head including a rainfall option. Bath products over the years have always been high-quality, and I'm pleased that they have resisted the temptation to go to the large communal bottles bolted to the wall. Overall it's a magnificent experiencing staying here, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

My husband…read morewanted to come here while we were staying in Memphis and I am so glad we bit the price tag and did it. We stayed in the Fly Fishing Lodge suite and it was awesome. 1,300 square feet of greatness in 1 room! We checked in and the lady at the front counter was so nice and friendly, it made the check in process easy. I asked about the back to school promo they were running since I called about it a couple days before my stay and she said it was on my bill (10% off and some coupons). Perfect! She let me know all the amenities the hotel offered and about the elevator ride. And even had a scavenger hunt for the kids! How awesome is that. You should offer that to everyone (minus the ducks for adults) because it was an awesome way to get to know the hotel and move around the hotel levels freely and with purpose. There is no pool here but it makes up for it with other things to do. From bowling, to the elevator ride, to the restaurants and the shopping there was plenty for the kids to do. Once we checked out and received our emailed receipt I realized the back to school promo wasn't applied to our bill. When I called the lady wasn't informed on the promo either so oh well, bummer.

I was really looking forward to staying at Big Cypress Lodge, but unfortunately it was one of the…read moremost disappointing hotel experiences I've had. The photos online are incredibly flattering and set expectations that simply weren't met. In person, the property felt dated and underwhelming. Our room overlooked a staircase instead of the store view we were led to expect, and there was nothing particularly luxurious about it. Even the "fireplace" was just a light effect, which felt misleading. The service was the biggest letdown. Most of the staff we encountered were unfriendly or dismissive. Housekeeping came by around 9:00 a.m. while I was getting dressed, and because I couldn't let them in at that moment, our room was never serviced for the rest of the day. No one returned. Calling the front desk was equally frustrating--we repeatedly waited on hold with no answer and ultimately had to go downstairs in person anytime we needed assistance. The layout and amenities were also disappointing. Guests could use the express elevator going up, but not coming down, which made little sense. The hallways were extremely dark and honestly felt uncomfortable and unsafe. Amenities were sparse, and room service after 11:00 a.m. was basically limited to burgers, offering very little variety. We were also attending events during our stay, and unfortunately the food served at every function was consistently poor. The location inside Bass Pro Shops is certainly unique, but the novelty wasn't enough to make up for the lack of service, misleading expectations, and overall value. For the premium price, I expected a true luxury experience. Instead, it felt more like paying luxury rates for a very average hotel. I wouldn't choose to stay here again.

Rented out " Bartlett Banquet Hall at 2758 Bartlett Blvd. Bartlett TN 38134". Good customer service at first, once the money was paid and a problem with the facility the day of the event. All calls and requests were ignored. The event planner called to state how " Filthy" the facility was. It was an event the night before hers, and it was left in a state of " Devastation"! The event planner had to call in ppl to clean before the decorations could be done and still pushing for time. Serverl of calls was made a couple of days afterward, with no answers, no responses! Once the money is paid, there are no good CUSTOMER SERVICES at ALL from them! Finally spoke with the owner , Francis Heinrich , and she stated that she would look into the allegations and get back to her. Needles to say, it's been all most a month now, and crickets. No calls, texts, or nothing! That place is so out DATED, I had my husband birthday party there in 2010, and NOTHING has changed. For the amount of money that was paid, a person can definitely get a better venue! I added a few pictures of how the kitchen was left, floors, so just imagine the rest of the place.
