This is a great new venue for hosting events! It's centrally located and easy to access from the main roads in Memphis. I just love the decor! It's super charming and makes you feel like you're at home. The decor gives the venue a rustic and charming feel. The layout is also extremely agreeable in that there are no bottleneck areas and I can't wait to attend more events here! The only room for growth is parking. Vehicles are parked on area streets, but valet is the best remedy to that situation! read more

Propcellar is a fantastic space & great location. I hosted a Christmas party there last night with two other friends & it was such a great time, everyone had fun. I can not recommend them enough, Nicki was a pleasure to work with, above & beyond in all that she handled. She was so knowledgeable, adept, skilled & on top of making sure everything was handled & came together perfectly. We could not have put our event on without her. The venue is amazing, plenty of space to do anything you could possibly dream up. Lots of beautiful vintage rentals & they let you bring in any decor you need as well. I love this space. All prop cellar is (beside a rental company) is an event space. But for Memphis, this is a wonderful and needed event space. The space is divided into two parts. The entry area is large enough for a cocktail party for several hundred. The larger more industrial room is said to have a capacity of 750, although I presume that is standing room only. I was at a seated dinner that occupied about 2/3s of the room and hosted about 200 people. The great thing about the space is that it's a blank slate but not so blank that it lacks character from the start. The decor in the room while I was there wasn't extravagant but I could totally see myself hosting a party or some other event there with different levels of decor. read more

I went to a fun event in this space last night. Valet Parking made it so easy to walk right in to the event. It's sparsely but nicely decorated. The Dantones band played and the acoustics were fine. The bathrooms are quality. I went to a Books from Birth event which was a carnival theme. Several hundred people in the space and UT still felt open an airy. Lots of fun games, food and beverages. Valet was fast when we were leaving so all in all a very enjoyable event space. read more

Propcellar is a VERY welcome addition to Memphis - frankly all of the Mid-South! There is nothing like what they offer (vintage props, details that put the finishing touch on your decor) within 3 hours of Memphis. I know because when I was planning my own wedding I considered renting items in Atlanta and U-Hauling them to get the right feel for a shabby chic-vintage-romantic event. Not necessary anymore! I heard about Propcellar randomly through a friend, so definitely want to get the word out. They have refurbished church pews that would give an outdoor ceremony the perfect wholesome feel (these probably would have changed my venue choice had I heard about them earlier!) The owner is fantastic to work with, very flexible with last-minute requests. It can get pricey if you're only renting a few items (with delivery) but still often cheaper than most of the big rental companies in town. Wish I had known about them before, but will definitely use for photo shoots/events in the future, and recommend for friends' weddings! read more
