Not a fan of the business ethics of the new owners. Under the old management, I bought a laser hair removal package of 10 treatments. When I arrived for treatment #6 in November of 2023, after the management changed, I was told that the laser machine was broken, and they didn't know when it would be ready (gee, thanks for *not* phoning me to let me know!). After not hearing from them for a couple of months, I went back at the end of January to inquire. I was told that the machine was SOLD in the fall to another business, that Midnight Body couldn't afford to offer laser hair removal anymore, and that the other business was honoring anyone who bought a package under the previous management. I was given an email address for the business that bought the machine. When I asked why the woman I talked to in November told me that the machine was broken, I got a shrug and a blank stare. So, basically, I was lied to when I showed up for my appointment in November. When I tried to use the email address for the business that bought the machine, it bounced back. So, I phoned Midnight Body and talked to (I think) Michelle, who seemed very frustrated that the email address for the other business wasn't working. She took my name and phone number and PROMISED she would work it out and get back to me (she was VERY adamant that she wouldn't forget me). That was in January....I'm still waiting for that call and it's May. So basically, these people don't have a great business ethic at all, they're liars all around. I wouldn't go to them for any other service they offer. Perhaps they should realize that when they buy out a business, they automatically assume a customer base, and they should be prepared to honour their customers. The first time... I hadn't had my nails done for a while so I decided on coming to Midnight Body. They are one of the few places that do dip powder in Brantford. I was serviced by Rose who took special care to do my nails exactly how I wanted them. Total time was longer than expected but you really can't rush perfection. The environment is nice and welcoming, I just loved their decor. They also had a lemongrass scented diffuser setting the mood, which was totally relaxing. I would definitely recommend Midnight Body and I will definitely be coming back The second time... I went in for a fill in two weeks after my initial visit, I was told I couldn't do fill ins for dip powder and that they would have to charge me a full set... whatever. Rose wasn't working so they assigned Davy to me. She filed down my nails but apparently not enough before she started laying more dip powder over them. My nails were uneven and I asked if she could shape them. She did, but they were still uneven. After asking twice I just gave up. I showed her a picture on how I wanted my nails coloured but she was unable to replicate it and she wasn't very good at hiding her irritation when I pointed out that it wasn't the same. It took two hours for her to finish her crap job and out of kindness more than anything else I tipped her 10% even though I really wasn't happy. The next morning, two of my nails snapped off. The following day I was able to be seen by Rose to fix just the two nails. They were done free of cost, which I appreciated, but it was still wasted time. Two days later three other nails started to lift off so again I asked if I could come in and have them fixed. Surprise! They gave me back to Davy. I was told that I should not be having this many problems this early and that they'd have her redo all of my nails for not doing it right the first time. But when I got there she only focused in on one and told me the other two weren't lifting off my nail, that's just how it is. I insisted so she finally redid the other two, but that's all she did. Also, while she was fixing my nails she was having a conversation with another nail tech about bringing in food to eat on their break. She apologized for not bringing in the food to share because she was "in a rush" to get to the salon on time to service her client because she doesn't like having her clients wait, but it didn't matter because her client was late anyway. I was five minutes late for detouring to pick up my daughter first. Thanks for indirectly complaining about me Davy! If any of my other five remaining nails start falling off I'm just going to have the entire set removed. If I ever go back I'm only requesting Rose, but more than likely I won't be returning. read more

I have contacted the company twice, and never got back to me! They don't want my business that's fine, another business will Take my money! read more

So I've never felt the urge to write a review on anything... until my appointment yesterday. I had raved to family and friends about my December pedicure and how impressed I was with service and quality, which is why I returned with my sister-in-law for a manicure/pedicure. We were greeted with some very confusing direction from the receptionist, who's service explanation was VERY misleading. My assigned Aesthetician was young and distracted. I provided pictures of the look I was going for; however, the final result was a total miss and lacked attention to detail. My fingernails (shellac service) have this rounded bubble effect that looks unprofessional and cheap. The skin on the tips and corners of my fingers are glued and once freed I realized she hadn't even cleaned under my nails before she began painting. After spending $96.00 on my services I was so frustrated that I didn't bother to explain my disappointment and left without tipping. Such a let down. read more

I received Botox from "Nurse" Amanda on April 30, 2019 and have now lost the ability to drive and work. I have been dizzy and have severe visual disturbances. I would never in my life recommend this place to anyone EVER!!! I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Please take my advice and don't have Botox done here. read more

Well walking into this nail salon was interesting music was very loud and the women behind the counter seemed confused and very disorganized. I am a certified Aesthetician and was in the business for 10 years. I treat myself to a full set or a shellac every now and then. The women that provided the service for me glued my skin to the artificial tip and every nail was misshaped. My appointment was at 6 didn't get out of my chair until 740 and I didn't even get color just a regular top coat ,not happy that service should take no longer then 1 hour and that's with polish.. Also beside me I had 3 of their employees doing their own nails / farting around with the new products. When leaving she didn't even ask me what I had done but rather just assumed then proceeded to tell me my total was $75.00 for a full set with shellac lol which I didn't even get. I said "no, your price list says $55 for a full set" and said "oh yeah, sorry about that" . (terrible) I can get a full set and pedicure for $60 and have it done in 1 hour with some quality at any other nail salon in Brantford . I don't recommend going there at all!! I went home and had to file plus detach my glued skin from the tips. I think they need to focus on getting more experienced Aesteticians or maybe just go back to running the tanning salon. Sorry ladies but this is highway robbery with awful quality. read more

I've been to Midnight a few times now and every time I walk in, I'm greeted with a warm towel and a happy atmosphere! I've seen Corrina for eyelash extensions 2 times now and she always makes my lashes look amazing! They don't offer fake nails but Im thinking of getting a pedi next time! The staff is always friendly and it smells like lemongrass! Definitely nothing else like this in Brantford! read more

It's super cute inside but I got a regular manicure with some chunky glitter polish, it's been 3 hours and my nails still aren't dry and are peeling off :( sucks cause it was cute polish and the employees were really nice but i didn't just spend 28 dollars for this :(( read more
