I've been going to this practice since I was a teenager. My primary care retired and now I see Dr. Marshall who is amazing! I'm a firm believer that you need to shop for doctors like you need to shop for jeans. Try out a lot until you find that perfect fit for you that will last a long time and is comfortable! Dr. Marshall is all of the above for me! She's the perfect balance of friendly bedside manner but listens to my needs! I live on the opposite side of town but will gladly make the trek to see her! read more

I have been having a terrible experience with Dr. Paul Targonski in the Waterford office. I began seeing him this summer after I moved to Midlothian from Maryland. He immediately made it clear he wanted to wean me off of my glp-1, encouraging me to focus on exercising and keeping my heart rate up instead. Then I tried to get a b-12 shot (I was previously getting them monthly and they helped with my energy levels) and he would not do it. He said I didn't need it, so it would be a waste of healthcare resources, and he doesn't like giving people shots who don't need them. Finally, this week I have been trying for 3 days to get my anxiety and depression medications refilled. I called multiple times a day. Not only were these medications filled at the very last minute, before we head into the weekend, but they were filled INCORRECTLY. For one medication, he filled it for 100mg instead of 150mg. For the other, it was filled as a fast release instead of a slow release. This prescription ordeal has been an unbelievable display of medical negligence, as the doctor took 3 days, without ever contacting me, to refill psychiatric medications which he then filled incorrectly. read more

I've been going to this practice for 30 years. Steady decline of service the past 6 years. Doctors have been fleeing during this time and we're left with the bottom of the barrel. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU ENJOY ABUSE AND LACK OF CARE! The staff has a huge turnover rate which is a sure sign of sickness within. I do not recommend. Was once A+ and now F -. read more

I put total trust in Jennifer Brown. She's been my Primary Care physician for 30 years. Her knowledge is unlimited. I dread the day she retires! read more

I tried to schedule an appointment through calling in and through my patient portal 4x and it wont bring a provider up to choose from in order to book the appointment. I've had that happen on 2 previous occasions and mentioned it to front office staff. They said the best way is to use the portal which won't work. I called yesterday just after 3pm 1/9/2026 and there were 9 ppl ahead of me so I elected to have the office staff call me back when it was my turn. I never received a call back so I was forced to go to urgent care Sat morning and incur a $50 copay. Something needs to be done about the website since its been going on for more than a year and why would office staff not return my call at all? I don't feel supported. I was diagnosed with an ear and sinus infection and bronchitis. UPDATE: I received a call this morning stating they called me back which I have no missed call from and that my provider Josh Harris has elected to not be in the drop down list and therefore since he's my primary Dr. I can't choose anyone else so I have no option but to call in. They give conflicting information, the website doesn't work to the patient's advantage and I don't get calls back when sick. I need to find another provider not do to the Dr's but because of technical issues they refuse to clear up and or return calls. Not worth it after 2 years of being with them. No support! read more

Tried to get a prescription refilled on the patient portal for over a week. Tried calling office and got a message I was #42 in line. Called the next day and was #34. How can you have 42 people on hold? I held for 45 minutes and still didn't get anyone. How can you request refills, make an appointment or cancel an appointment. This is ridiculous! read more

Two of the BEST Family Physicians in the area, if not THE BEST!! Dr. Amy Marshall and Dr. Grant Woodfin! Excellent Medical Care, compassionate Office Staff -- who work hard to help you get needed appointments at the earliest times! A Very Busy Practice!!! Excellent Physicians are in High Demand!!! read more

First and foremost, when you enter the office (Westchester Commons), the associates treat you privately and with exceptional service. Both my husband and I trust in our PCP, Dr. Thirunavukarasu in our whole health care. She truly listens, is a seasoned clinician, and genuinely cares. I am a RN, and often consult RNs in other areas of practice regarding their physician in that specialty. I also had a delightful conversation when I called to make future appt's. I spoke with Ms. Brandi M based out of a different office (Village Square I believe). She demonstrated courteous and patient focused services and was so helpful. Thanks to Dr. T and the team from Kathy and Lloyd B read more

Our entire family receives care here. Drs. Amy Marshall and Keegan Weaver are excellent! The staff is busy but polite and helpful.

I love my general MD. She is great. The office staff is horrendous. Rude, slow and ignorant. They all look miserable and while standing in line you can listen to their inappropriate talk or the endless complaining. Do better with your front of office staff MFP. It's going to cost you business read more

They just need to close this place down from the office staff to the doctors. Probably be best if the doctors never practice medicine again. As far as the staff go very unprofessional and rude! Dr. Marshall and her nurse have lied to me at least four times concerning test and medication that was suppose to be ordered!! Do NOT go here!! read more

The office said that I could pay a bill the next time I came in and a week later they sent it to collections. Another time I checked in and the office didn't tell the doctor. I waited two hours until the doctor checked the waiting room. read more

went to Westchester and first time I had Dr Tee for my child. it is usually Dr Short or Dr Prillaman. I like them . Dr Tee had a awful attitude and when I called back to question her about the prescription and the visit she told me she don't have time for this. I will stick to my normal physicians. I will not be disrespected. Her nurse Rachel was very helpful and pleasant. she is In the wrong field of work. not happy. read more

This practice seems to be most interested in generating as many office visits as possible, necessary or not. Take care when dealing with them. read more

The front office is great. All of the providers I have ever seen here are wonderful as well. They have X-ray on site and are quick with labs and prescriptions. Their online portal allows you to communicate with your provider directly via online messaging and my responses have always been under 24hrs. Love this place. read more

This is the most unprofessional group I've ever met in my life if you're on Medicare don't bother going if they can't line their pockets properly your service will be subpar too bad at one time there were decent medical facility however if your insurance is on the border they are unprofessional enough not to offer you an extension on your prescriptions until you can find another doctor.. In God We Trust all others pay cash read more

They are nasty at the front desk. They also make you wait over an hour sometimes, and turn you away if you are 5 minutes late. Incompetent.

I visited after getting a concussion and was treated terribly by them, like a drug seeker, even after telling the nurse practitioner I was not interested in any narcotics. This practice used to be amazing. I cried after I left due to how rude she was to me. :( read more

I agree with the rest of the reviewers. I've been a member of this practice for about 5 years now, while my mother has been with them for about 20. We originally saw Dr. Meyers, then were forced to switch due to all the new healthcare changes and that's when it all went downhill. The office will NEVER call me with test results, I am always the one to call the office to which a receptionist will say "we probably don't have the results, but I'll check". They are very rude, very unfriendly. It isn't that hard to be nice, they are always rude about making appointments. I am actively searching for a new healthcare provider because of all the disrespect. I am extremely disappointed in the service here. read more

I have been a patient at this practice for over 25 years. My first doctor here Dr. Riley has since retired. My current doctor is Jeffrey Greer. I have always gotten wonderful care and attention at this practice. I do not like all the doctors at this practice and do not see the ones I don't care for. The range of services at this location is tremendous. I would recommend MFP to anyone looking for a good and reliable doctor. read more

Dr Marshall is very attentive and professional. She always takes time to answer all my questions and returns phone calls promptly.

My daughter had been running a fever for two days. No cough, no sneezing, no runny nose. Took her to Midlothian Family on a Wednesday. They swabbed her nose for the flu and the results came back negative. They told me if the fever spikes to bring her back in. Thursday morning, fever still going. I take off of work and get her to the emergency room. Tell them what's going on and they immediately take her back for chest x-rays. Turns out she had pneumonia. When a child comes into your office with an unspecified fever, why would you NOT run a battery of tests to find out the cause? Terrible. Never using their office again. read more

New to the area so I do not have a family doctor. I had a bad collision playing sports and hurt my ribs pretty bad. I set up an appointment to get x-rays for 10am on Friday the 8th. I showed up 15 min. early as instructed. Waited over an hour in the waiting room and another 20 minutes in the office. Finally, got to see someone, they apologized for the long wait and said this isn't usual for them. I accepted and moved on. It was getting close to me having to be work so the doctor took down my number specifically because he said he would make sure he called me back in a couple hours for my x-ray results. Never called me back. My wife and I have been calling every day since Friday the 8th leaving over 7 messages by now. Even the receptionist are saying "oh my goodness they still haven't called you back?" It is now after close of business on Tuesday the 12th and I still have heard nothing? I am 33 and have never experienced anything like this at any doctors office in my life. I would absolutely recommend looking somewhere else if you are new in town and looking for a doctors office. read more

Has one doctor who immediately thinks being overweight is the cause of your health issue without doing an exam of any kind (Dr. Glazier, thanks for taking my copay and sending me on my way). Dr. Greer is wonderful, however, his nurse, Melanie, needs a lesson in manners and phone etiquette. She is rude and disrespectful. read more

The doctors at Midlothian Family Practice are great, however the same cannot be said for most of the other staff members. When making an appointment, expect really long wait times on the phone, listening to boring messages. I'm actually looking to find another provider because of the long holds on the phone and the stupid, boring messages you have to listen to while waiting. read more
