Midleton's is always a good vibe. Pretty lowkey if you want to go and stay away from everyone you can or if you want to interact and have a good time you can. The patio is comfortable and the staff is very friendly! This is my second time going and my second visit was just as amazing as my first. The first time I went I got a mule and talked with my date. Today when I went I got wings and a soft beef taco. My date got a Philly cheesesteak. I got the spicy garlic and bbq wings and in my opinion the bbq was better. The spicy garlic was delicious as well don't get me wrong but when you're eating it with the bbq I think that bbq knocked the spicy garlic out of the park. I'm not even a huge fan of bbq wings when I go out but these were amazing for sure! I wasn't a huge fan of my taco at all. I ordered crispy and I was given soft and it was just very basic. Good thing I went on Tuesday and the taco was only .50! My date got the Philly cheesesteak and he really enjoyed it. He dipped it in ranch the entire time. I didn't love it but he did so I'd give it a 4. Overall everything was great so that's why I give them a 5. I got the sunrise marg AMAZING and he got the margarita with blue in it. This trip to Midleton's was due to the fact that the hubby and I had to come up for an oil change for the Jeep, across the street at Jiffy Lube. So, after our oil change, it was dinner time, and we had never been to Midleton's Bar& Grill, so we popped in. When you walk in, the sports games we're going on the TV and the music was blaring. But, it is the weekend, so we decided this was a way to kick it off. We seated ourselves, and the staff member took notice and brought us a set of menus to look over. She had a great smile, welcomed us, and promptly took our drink orders. My husband had asked for sweet tea, but they did not have that, so he asked about rootbeer, they did not have that, so he asked what they had, and he settled on Dr Pepper. I decided on the Celtic Punch Cocktail. For dinner, my husband chose the tilapia platter and a build a mac bowl. I chose for my dinner was the pretzel sticks with queso, and fish and chips with lemon, tartar sauce. The staff member asked if we needed vinegar, and I was impressed. She knew the way to my heart with the malt vinegar for my dish. We had plenty left over to take home. First experience visiting this venue. The staff are friendly, I ordered the boneless which closes at midnight, they were a bit overcooked, aside from this I did order two minutes prior to arrival. The owner is very friendly and hands on. Overall the experience is a venue which is a great a great place with good music, a fun time with friends. Keep it up, the venue is definitely a great place to have a fun night out dancing and enjoying time with friends. Side not they have live music pop, hip hop and a fun ambiance. The Billiards table and fun crowd to hang out is a plus for Tulsa I would highly recommend a good night out coming from the north east experiencing New York , Chicago etc it's by far the best kept secret in Tulsa. We have been here twice and both times we sat there without ever being acknowledged when we walked in the door. The last time we sat there for 20 minutes and no one ever said a word to us. They looked right at us numerous times walked right by us, but we sat there, twiddling our thumbs, we ended up getting up to walk out because they literally looked right at us but didn't say a thing. I haven't tried this place since my last review over a year ago but I had a friend in town and thought maybe...JUST MAYBE....they might have improved. Boy was I wrong. The food was mediocre at best. And it was made worse by the fact that we had to wait 30 minutes after our order to get the completely wrong order and the fact that our extremely rude waitress never even brought our drinks. We had to remind her when she brought the wrong order out that we did indeed order drinks from her. It took another 15 minutes before the correct food and the drinks even showed up. Needless to say it was the only drink we got. This is a place that I really wanted to like. But seriously. Who is in control of the hiring and training of wait staff?!?! This is definitely the best bar you can go to in Tulsa without fighting the crowds of downtown, Cherry Street, or 71st Street. It's unique in that its atmosphere is perfect for game days AND non-game days. Most of the time, it's not too loud, which is nice. The drink selection is pretty much what you'd expect. Not much in the way of local beers, but they've got all the big-name necessities. The food is so much better than you'd expect from a bar and grill.
