I brought in two pairs of sunglasses to see if she could repair them. She looked at each for less than ten seconds and told me they were both irreparable. I looked at the Maui Jim glasses and was desperate for a pair. Out of necessity I bought a pair of Maui Jim glasses there. Afterwards I drove to Santa Rosa to the Sunglass Hut where the two women could have not been more helpful. Not only did they repair my Ray-bans, but they found a jeweler who could repair my other pair of glasses. I regretted buying the glasses from the unfriendly and unhelpful woman at Healdsburg Optometry, and wish I would have bought the glasses at the Sunglass Hut where the price was $30.00 cheaper.

They have their own plan now called VSP (Vision Savings Plan) and is $360.00 per year for their primo plan. Lake County employees and their retirees lost their benefit there and now have to travel elsewhere which is Ukiah and 40 miles away! Terrible disservice to the community everyone went there because they were good! Because of it all of Lake County can't use VSP as there are no other eye doctors that use it. This was my first visit with her, but she was welcoming, kind, informative and helpful. It is reassuring to see a doctor who actually listens to your concerns, doesn't judge you and makes you feel comfortable. I also appreciate the effort of getting me added on to the schedule the same day. This type of patient care will keep me continuing to make the 50 minute trip to my appointments.

They're very unprofessional; I had to reach out to them three separate times for them to cancel an appointment scheduled a year ago at the St. Helena location. I'll monitor my insurance to ensure they don't charge the $40 no-show fee. Fortunately, the eye doctor I found afterward was exceptional, referring me to a specialist who genuinely cares, takes time to answer questions, and doesn't rush patients.
