The course was advertised as a 7-hour, in-person training from 11 AM-6 PM, covering Classic, Hybrid, Volume, and Mega lashes. The advertisement also listed lifetime mentorship, unlimited refreshers, academy access, marketing tips, and a kit as included benefits. Unfortunately, the actual experience did not reflect what was advertised. The instructor arrived late, and students were left waiting outside while the room was prepared. A significant amount of the scheduled class time was then spent on selling additional lash kits rather than instruction. The hands-on training was also very limited. We spent a considerable amount of time practicing lash fans, but much of the instruction on actual lash application consisted of watching videos rather than receiving direct, hands-on instruction. The course was scheduled to end at 6 PM, but the instructor stated that she had a flight to catch and wanted us to wrap up around 4:45 PM. Afterward, we spent approximately another hour waiting for certificates instead of using that time for additional education or hands-on practice. I was also disappointed by discrepancies with what was advertised. Lifetime mentorship was listed as an included benefit but was presented as an additional upcharge during the course. The advertised kit also showed tape as an included item, but the instructor ran out of tape, and sponges were not provided. Other essential supplies were also unavailable. As someone who has been a licensed esthetician for several years, I understand that no training course will be perfect. However, I went into this course expecting the in-person, hands-on education and included benefits that were advertised, and I don't feel that I received what I paid for. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this course to carefully clarify exactly what is included in the tuition, how much hands-on instruction is provided, and whether the advertised mentorship is actually included before enrolling. I have reached out to Gemuine Academy directly to request a refund and hope they take this feedback seriously.

The girls at the front desk weren't the nicest but its okay because the nail tech I got was sooo sweet! I would put her name on here but she graduated a week after she did my nails so theres no point. But she did a great job on my fill in and I felt comfortable with her (which is rare because usually I feel like I can't fully relax getting my nails done for some reason). Its important to note that this is a school so you HAVE to have patience!! If you are the type that would die having to sit two hours to get your nails done, this isnt the place for you. Also, the ventilation is horrible and all nails are done downstairs in a dungeon lmaoo. I saw a girl get a pedicure done & they used a big bowl to soak her feet & had her sitting in one of those fold out chairs. I almost got a pedicure and was like nope because I want to be comfortable and able to relax!! Overall I would rate this place a 8/10 and I want to try getting my hair done here next so ill update this review if I do!

Judging kids by Inches from the curb. Basically failing kids by how many inches they are from the curb for parallel parking. Kids were walking out upset and teacher had a smirk on his face. Plus if your daughter goes here he will look her up and down like a pervert. Trust me there's driving academy's all over and it's worth going to a different location. This guy enjoys giving kids a hard time especially girls. Go to the one on Southfield rd. My daughter passed with no points three hours after we left this place. Someone should turn them into the state of Michigan.

This is a great hidden gem and all of the galleries are free. It's definitely really small like you could see everything under an hour. There's also a small gift shop.

What I do know is that I am supposed to be certified until 2018 and I am NOW having to take another class for a new card because after two emails and two phone voice messages to try to obtain a replacement card, I have not received anything. I received an acknowledgement of my email a month ago and was told that the office would be sending out my card, I confirmed my address and sent my information by email and voice mail and....nothing. I was actually recommending this class. I don't recommend at all. I'm mad because her I am paying another $60 for something I already have active. Plus, Crestfield trainer mentioned that if we lose our cards, we can easily pull it off AHA site, I called AHA and they have no record of me even taking the damn course. ZERO points for this training center and teacher.
