They have an awesome display of Lego collectible figures, but the prices are out of this world…read more Some routinely go for $40, some much, much higher, too, while the average price per figure for ones that I can get anywhere else is about $15. Even the cheapest ones, which are sold in huge quantities everywhere you can buy Lego mini figures, sell for almost $10 at the Robot Garage. I can and do buy those same ones at places like the drug store, Five Below and even Toys R Us for a couple of bucks. Do they have a large, even quite impressive, selection? Yes, but they are overrated and overpriced. They do have in-demand pieces and ones that have been retired or only were produced in limited quantities, but they are not so rare that the prices are justified on everything they sell. Come on, a lot of those figures I can and have gotten for $3 each and there is no need to spend that much on a little hobby. I was last here a the weekend after Thanksgiving. The customer service was so lacking that I'm tempted to not even give them a three star review because based on that one particular experience, although I've been here many times, was so downright horrible that I wouldn't even give them a one star except that I couldn't give lower. The guy that was supposed to be waiting on me basically walked off chatting on his phone and ignored every customer in there. It was near closing time, but there were a bunch of people waiting for assistance and he just walked off to take a personal call on his phone while staring right back at the line at the counter. Some nice girl that didn't really know what she was doing was forced to come to the front and take care of everything herself and mumbled apologies at us, but it wasn't her place to apologize, it was his. He disappeared and we never saw him again as we left the store. I'm still surprised that I bought the pieces I wanted, but they were ones that I was missing and I did want them. I do admit to having a little buyer's remorse over purchasing them with that guy's attitude. The store does have nice Lego displays for children and a huge selection, so that's what brings people through the door. It certainly isn't the customer service that is lacking in all areas.

Their friendly teachers, amazing staff, and fun learning environment make their classes for kids the best. They make learning engineering fun for kids! Convenient parking, too which is always a plus as a parent.

I am so sad we need to leave - logistics issue after work transfers :(…read more We moved here after Kindercare closed and another center had major license issues. Jennifer was helpful with everything. I disagree with the other reviewers in the following ways (and I will explain why I LOVE KA at the same time): 1. Every kid is different - my daughter knew all of her letters and numbers way before my son (and she is younger). You can't rely on them growing at the same speed. 2. The 3 year old room has Miss Joan who has worked for KA for YEARS. She goes through letters and numbers in the mornings. My son came to KA at 4 knowing nothing and she whipped him into shape in a few months. She can be a tough cookie, but if you need parenting advice and can't find Jennifer (the director)...Joan is your girl. 3. Tuition: you have to pay holidays and vacation days regardless of where you go. As long as we have gone to KA, they have not had a snow day. Ever. ALLLLLL the other schools will be closed, but KA is open for business. 4. Homework: feel like you have NO CLUE what your kid is doing all day at preschool? I've been there. KA sends home optional homework packets that my son LOVES doing. It helps me realize what he is learning during the day and he likes to show off (to me and probably also his sister) all of his number knowledge. 5. Turnover: There have been a few people moving around, but nothing like what I have seen at other centers. The center director has been there for over a decade. She knows her stuff, is no-nonsense but kind. She has a love for her job and her students. And she is a fountain of knowledge if you need help with ANYTHING. I don't know anything about the baby/toddler side because my son is older, but overall we are very happy.

Stay away from this place…read more.. reasons why: 1. my 3 year old is not learning any letters or numbers, they are not teaching it. 2. they make you pay tuittion upfront. 3. You have to pay all holidays and if there is a snow day or if they loose power, you have to pay for all those days. 4. you also have to pay 1/2 tuittion for vacation days. 5. last snow day they did not update their voicemail message and I drove 2 kids in a snow storm 15 miles to find a note in the door that center is closed. 6. Overall not happy at all.

We had a great experience at Goddard School Lake Orion after a rough time at another area day care…read more My son was in the Junior Kindergarten room, called, "Raindrops". He is definitely ready for Kindergarten at his public school. The curriculum is challenging enough to keep the children's attention, but appropriate to their age so that your child can progress and feel confident. My son's teacher, Ms. Kathy, kept the class on track, adding creative and imaginative aspects to the topic at hand. The assistant, Alexa, was very nurturing and patient with my high energy child. Summer camp was a welcome change with field trips and special presenters to keep things fun.

First don't be fooled by the posative reviews the owner gave out gift cards to the trampoline park…read moreto the parents who wrote posative reviews. She sent out an email to all the parents. After enrolling my son in Goddard I came for 3 visits an hour each the week before he started in the infant room. I came home from each visit feeling uncomfortable. The issues that I had were with the teachers lack of communication. When I brought 4 bottles and gave his teacher exact times to feed him and I came to pick up my son and found he was only fed two bottles in the morning. He was laying on the tile floor on his back screaming. I was told that they didnt know when to feed him because the other teacher had left so they didn't. When I went to tell the director mrs. Jean she wanted me to speak on the phone with the head teacher. At this point I was feeding my son who hadn't been feed for several hours and was crying in hunger and she was upset I refused to stop feeding him to talk to the teacher on the phone. Another issue I had was my son was put to sleep in his swing when I asked that he not be Ms. Jean said I would need to address it with the teacher myself. I found my child was put to sleep in his crib covered in spit up (his outfit was dirty under his sleep sack). One of the teachers offten picks up the babies by their arms and calls them stupid. I never felt comfortable leaving my son here and after two weeks on the day I found my son wasn't fed we left the owner walked me to my car saying the tuition was nonrefundable.
