Amazing f**king coffee!!! Omggggg I got the peppermint white mocha 10000x better than any of the chain ones. And the fact that I could get it decaf because I'm pregnant was a huge plus!!! There were ppl in there drinking their drinks, some waiting for their drinks and some seem to be studying or working on their laptops. There's a small group studying together. As it was new, didn't think there were that many ppl going to be there. My daughter got her matcha. I did the Ferrero Rocher drink that was not coffee based so no caffeine. It was late afternoon so I didn't want to wired the rest of the day. Had it with oat milk and really enjoyed it. It was not overwhelmingly sweet, nut topping on top of their cloud and a whole Ferrero Rocher chocolate on top. A full dessert drink after a late lunch. Really enjoyed it all the way home. 3 workers behind the counter and they were working. Lots of orders from each customer who arrived, at least 2 from each group or more. Super excited to see a Filipino-owned coffee shop in the area! There were parol decorations put up for the holiday season as I walked in :'-) I ordered the Ferrero Rocher cloud (no caffeine, in contrast to the Ferrero Rocher latte which does contain caffeine) and the triple matcha and was overall very happy about the quality of both drinks. Front staff was really helpful in describing the contents/distinctions between the drinks on the menu. I'd recommend descriptions on the menu just so customers can make informed decisions about drinks on the menu that seem similar but aren't the same (etc what separates the Ferrero Rocher cloud from the latte, or the triple matcha from the matcha cloud) but other than that I'm excited to come back! The workers are sweet and the environment was nice and minimal. I had arrived there at least an hour before closing just to get a quick drink and leave. So it is a possibility that maybe they had just given a bad batch. But I haven't gone since because I'm not sure I'd want to spend the price I did for a possibility of another "bad batch". I was huge in my matcha phase when I went and had tried many notable matcha places (true matcha, airoma, broken coffee, phin smith). I had ordered their cloud matcha and compared to other matcha places it was very watery and I couldn't even taste their "cloud" portion of it (took off the lid and just dipped into the "cloud" and it's just a very very very light whipped vanilla milk flavor. So not even the cloud portion had a notable taste). I would best compare the taste to how I attempted making my own matcha at home with just oat milk, white sugar, and a dream. And if you've ever attempted to make your own matcha, you would know the initial struggles of making it taste like a good cafe matcha and that exactly tastes. Ok, so maybe matcha isn't their strong suit... But, I had also bought my bf a latte (was going to get him the viet coffee, but they had apparently shut off their drip machine by the time I had arrived..). Unfortunately, he had the exact same experience as me. The coffee was purely milk.. he's able to make better tasting drip coffee on his own with just store bought grounds. I stopped by Middle Black Sheep and decided to try their "Triple Matcha." Honestly, I was expecting something rich and bold since they called it "Triple Matcha" but the matcha flavor was really weak. Most of what I tasted was oat milk, and overall the drink felt watery instead of creamy or earthy. Definitely didn't meet my standards especially compared to Airoma's matcha. That being said, the café itself is actually pretty nice. It has a calm, cozy vibe, and the employees were friendly, which I appreciated. Was rooting for this place and will definitely give it another try but we visited on Saturday and they definitely have a plumbing problem. Service was chill. Nothing out of the ordinary. The cafe was cute, simple, loved the hanging parols. Would've been a nice touch to play OPM. The drinks and food are on the pricier side. We bought 3 ensaymadas which were all delicious at $6.50 each. Ordered the Milo latte (hot with oatmilk) and Turon latte (iced with oatmilk). The Milo taste was faint but it wasn't a bad drink. The Turon reminded me of Turon but in my opinion didn't pair well with the coffee. The brûlée top made it taste burnt and the banana gave an almost tart flavor. The baristas seem very young and still learning, and when I visited, the two young male employees were talking loudly across the bar about their weekend plans while the young woman was trying to take my order. The workers were very kind and despite only having two baristas at the time we came, they were efficient and friendly. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately the drinks fell short. I ordered the hojicha latte, but the flavor was so weak and drowned out by the milk. I even ordered less ice, however, that did not improve the taste one bit (although the level of drink was reduced as a result of the ice level request - I personally dislike when coffee shops do this). My friend ordered a matcha latte and he thought it was also flavorless and weak. Vegas has arguably some of the best coffee and tea shops, so there is a lot of competition when it comes to coffees and teas. When it comes to matcha and hojicha teas, I personally think that there are plenty of other shops that consistently provide better tasting drinks. However, I did appreciate the service and how clean and aesthetic the shop was.
