We have a couple friends who've said Middle Black Sheep is pretty good, so we decided to give them a try a couple weeks ago. The space is clean with a more modern interior and fun pops of red with their sheep décor throughout. There was ample seating, but the tables down the middle of the café were waaaaay too close together. During our time there, we saw so many people struggle with easily accessing the water station and trashcan because of this. I think losing just 1 table & set of chairs would make it more convenient for customers. When we walked up to order, it was a tad awkward while we stood there for about 3-4 minutes with no real acknowledgment of our presence, but once one of the baristas was available to assist us, she was very friendly. We came for breakfast, so I ordered a butter croissant along with an Ube Matcha w/ Oat Milk. The croissant was nice and doughy with a flaky crust; my drink was enjoyable but I did wish it had been just a tad sweeter. My husband LOVES Ferrero Roche so he opted for the Ferrero Latte; he said it was decent but far too decadent and sweet. For breakfast he had the almond croissant which was also good. Overall, we did enjoy the atmosphere as well as what we ordered. Would definitely be interested in coming back to try different matcha/coffee drinks.

Our buddies brought us here to check out. The aesthetic was nice. Loved the theme and colors. It reminded me of coffee shops in the Philippines. Come to find out their second location is in Tagaytay! I tried the Turon latte. It really tasted like it, with little chunks of banana in it. I loved it! Didn't try the ensamada although it looked good.

Our first time checking this spot out. It's a small coffee joint and it was packed when we arrived around 10:30am on a Saturday. I quickly grabbed the only open table and she stood in line to order our coffee. The Vietnamese coffee is loaded with a quad shot of espresso so it wasn't as sweet as it usually is, but it was a good balance. My girlfriend ordered the drip coffee and it came in a nice mug, I only wished the iced coffees came in mugs or glasses. The staff was busy but polite and helpful.

New coffee shop alert in Henderson !!!!! Located off the 215 & Gibson - small coffee shop with seating , very busy on a Friday . I went with just a drip coffee and my boyfriend got the Vietnamese iced coffee (not too sweet) the drip was excellent and we will definitely be back .

More like 3.5 stars. This is a cute Filipino owned coffee shop in Henderson off of 215 and Gibson. It was awesome to see that they offer coffee beans from the Philippines. We ordered a Turon Brulee Latte which is one of their seasonal drinks, house drip coffee and a Classic Ensaymada. I have mixed feelings about the Turon latte...I tasted the jackfruit and the banana but I'm not sure I like it as a latte. I think I would rather have a turon, haha. The ensaymada was decent. Service was good. What they offer is a little pricey but the quality is there. I plan on coming back to try the Vietnamese coffee.

This review is based on a first-time visit on 1/19/26. I loved that their menu included several Filipino-inspired items, and ordered several of them to try. - Turon Brulée Latte: OMG this was so strong and creamy and sweet (not cloyingly so). It gave me the best and headiest buzz ever. So much so, that I decided to go on a hike and powered up those hills like it was nothing. I honestly have never tried a drink like this one. 10/10 recommend. - Laing Empanada: Savory and tasty pastry with a pork and spinach filling. My only critique is that it seemed a little small. I would have no notes if it were only a tad bit bigger. - Ube Cream Ensaymada: Great flavor, soft and doughy, yum. Again, I wish this was just a tad bigger. I love what Middle Black Sheep is doing. Excellent coffee, interesting menu items, cute ambience, friendly staff. I'd be happy to try some more items in the near future.

I was so excited to try this place when I saw it had opened! My family and I decided to get the vietnamese coffee and some empanadas. We got the chicken curry one and the beef, onion, and cheese. I wasn't a fan of the curry one but the beef was good! The Vietnamese coffee was okay. It is not super sweet. I would go back to try some other coffee another time. The only thing is the price is a bit on the higher side if you are purchasing for multiple people.

I really enjoyed the Turon Brulee Latte, and they truly nailed the flavor. You can taste the banana, brown sugar, and jackfruit and it honestly feels like the dessert in a cup, without being too sweet. The ube and salted egg ensaymada is fluffy and delicious--super comforting, unique, and feels like home

Stopped in for a morning coffee and pastry before touring apartments with my friend. I have been seeing the ferrero latte on my tiktok since they had their grand opening and it did not disappoint. I also got a spinach and feta pastry as a recommendation from the barista and it was such a good call! Both baristas working were so friendly and let me take the wonderful picture below before putting the lids on both drinks. The matcha is authentic and made from scratch with every matcha latte. I will definitely be back soon when I am on this side of town.

I went with my family and ordered a mix of things! For 6 drinks, 1 empanada and 1 ensamada we spent $82. It's a little on the pricey side! The drinks were good! My favorite was the Dubai Chocolate latte! The food was more cafe style foods! The chicken curry empanada was flavorful but was $7. Service was good and helpful! Ambiance was simple and clean!

I stopped by this cafe this morning and overall had a nice experience, especially when it came to the atmosphere and service. The space is minimalistic and cheery, and the moment I walked in I was greeted with an enthusiastic "good morning, welcome in." That immediately set a pleasant tone. My drink was also made very quickly, which was appreciated. There's plenty of seating, but mostly for solo visitors or pairs. Most of the tables are small and have two chairs. Along one wall, there are two larger tables to accommodate larger groups. It seems like a popular spot for people working remotely or studying, and the vibe really supports that. It's relaxed and clean, and jazz music was playing softly. I also LOVE how clearly the health scores are displayed; framed and easy to view. I've noticed some other spots in the Vegas area keep theirs out of the way, so this was reassuring. It tracks, since the cafe was so well-kept. No crumbs on the tables or anything. Now for the drink. I ordered a cloud matcha with almond milk. Unfortunately, this was a total miss for me. I took my first sip while on the phone with a friend and immediately said it might be the worst matcha I've ever had. It was very watery, with barely any matcha flavor. It mostly tasted like milk. The drink was very pretty and visually enticing, so I was thrown. I tried doctoring it up at home, but it still didn't improve much. I did finish it since I paid for it, but I can't say I recommend it. That said, I'd be open to coming back and maybe trying a coffee instead. Maybe matcha just isn't their strong suit. Overall, great atmosphere, cleanliness and customer service, but the matcha just didn't do it for me.

Order the pistachio latte! I need to go back to try the Turon brûlée latte, does it taste like a BBL (banana bread latte)? Curious because I love BBL's. Also, if it's not I hope they add BBL's as a seasonal. My daughter ordered the strawberry matcha, she says was okay. They also have many different pastries from other bakers locally. Grab a drink and a pastry, why not ! Also, the guy Ken who runs the place, was welcoming! Lots of Filipino inspired drinks & pastries. Cute space.

We arrived right at the opening hour, which is 8am, and there was already a line outside. However, because of the two drink limit they have for every person, the line went by pretty fast. I got my two drinks within less than 15 minutes (yes, I timed it), which I think is crazy impressive considering the line ahead of us. They seriously were like a well oiled machine in there! We tried their blackberry, dark chocolate, and caramello yawttes. Let me tell you, every single one of them was truly a crisp, vibrant, and creamy goodness in a cup!! And when I say it's so well balanced, it's because it's not too sweet with just the right amount of flavor and creaminess--the perfect trifecta in a great latte! One thing worth noting too is that they only use Oatly for the milk part of the yawtte, and as a lactose intolerant girlie, I think that's amazing. While they only offered to-go orders, the space was still very warm and welcoming--I loved the overall aesthetic and vibe of the place. And even if they were so busy right from the moment they opened their doors, the staff were still very pleasant and friendly. Definitely highly recommend! If I can get a blackberry yawtte every day for the rest of my life, I'd be a *very* happy gal. Absolutely worth it.

I was first turned on to CRCR by good friend and former owner of Bread and Butter Chris Herrin. A few months later while dining at Eat in downtown, I enjoyed that same delicious smooth cuppa joe,(unfortunatey, both B&B and Eat no longer use them) and knowing that they were in Boulder City, I knew one of these days I HAD TO go straight to the source. Pulling up to their storefront, it looks like nothing from the outside but as you enter, the smell of roasting coffee beans hit you like WOW!!! We met Don and Erik Anderson who are responsible for making some of the most delicious coffee you will have ever tasted(if you haven't yet). They were even nice enough to give us a little behind the scenes tour and explain their delicate roasting process using state of the art equipment (infrared heat, not open fire) and even offered tips on how to enjoy their product in the best possible way. We decided to grab a bag of one of Eirk's favorite blends-Bolivia: Amor De Dios, a 12 ounce bag for $10. If you're looking for a specific characteristic, flavor, etc. they have other blends available and Erik will be more than happy to point you in the right direction. If you haven't had a taste of Colorado River Coffee Roasters, places like Grouchy John's, Great Harvest Bread Company, and Sambalatte have their own blends from CRCR that they serve up. You may also purchase coffee from CRCR online which will be delivered right to your doorstep, or better yet, take a drive to Boulder City and go straight to the source and get an even fresher product! Here are some helpful tips that Erik and Don suggested: COFFEE: DO NOT grind the beans fine...a coarse grind is suggested WATER: DO NOT boil your water!... 200 degrees Farenheit... no higher! EQUIPMENT: No fancy equipment/gadgets here- a FRENCH PRESS is their weapon of choice, and how Erik and Don enjoy the fruits of their labor.... DOSAGE: Start with an equal ratio of 1 gram beans to 1 gram water and steep for 4 minutes...if it isn't strong enough, increase the beans to your liking STORAGE: Store beans in a cool, dark place....DO NOT refrigerate or freeze!!! BEST BY: Enjoy within 1 MONTH of purchase Erik and Don have also been chosen as one of the top seeded companies to compete later this year on the National level in Seattle with the best in the country. Best of luck to Erik and Don who have single handedly put Nevada on the coffee map, and forget the big chains....BUY LOCAL!!!! ALOHA!!!

My preference is cream and some sort of sweetener. Other times, I'll go for a latte, a mocha, or some specialty drink. Drink. When I saw the cherry blossom latte on the menu, I knew I had to give it a go. And what a more perfect complimentary side dish than a humongous chocolate chip cookie? But first, let's talk about the aesthetic. From the outside this place seems pretty standard. Huge sign, the windows are reflective so you can't really see inside, but when you open the door you are in for a treat. I love a good coffee shop that takes pride in their decor and this one definitely does it. In spades. The place feels open, elegant, but not stuffy, and definitely casual. It's the kind of place you could bring your laptop and hang out for a few hours and get some work done. Okay, let's get down to the nuts and bolts. That Cherry Blossom latte was one of the most amazing drinks I have ever had. I heard it's seasonal, so it's one of those. Get it when you can. I think I got it on the last day. But will keep checking because I want this again. The chocolate chip cookie was absolutely amazing, definitely fresh, and tasted perfect. This is definitely going to be on my short list of coffee places to go to. Las Vegas has such a wide and diverse amount of personalized, non chain, coffee places. Why would you go to Starbucks when you could go here? Bottom line? This place is off the charts. I will definitely be coming back here to try some of their breakfast items as well as grab a cup of coffee before heading out on whatever adventure I'm going on. You definitely must check this place out!
