Some Midas's may be ok. ?? But my experience with Midas: 1. Their mechanic destroyed my catalytic converter during a tuneup 2. I had audio recordings that were ignored 3. Over 2 dozens attempts at resolution 4. Over 12 multiple million dollar lawsuits for fraud fought and won against Midas 5. Upon paying my last payment, after 4 years of having the same due date, they moved my due date up 5 days to collect interest. RUN LIKE THE WIND.....GO ELSEWHERE!!! Beware Ladies! I came in 10/23 and asked about bringing a battery to be installed for my ex wife and reset the ECM. My ex wife how car brought the car in the next day and they tried to charge her $60 more for installing the battery when the quote was $125 for all. It's a simple battery to change. I was very clear I was being in the battery for them to install and reset the ECM. This car requires a ECM reset it, or I would have happily done it myself. I have used them several times and spent thousands of dollars at this location. Beware ladies, they will treat you different than men. read more

I have a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee and my air fans went out last Tuesday. I called around to a few shops and had an appointment to drop my jeep off this Monday. Showed up and they turned me down and said they couldn't look at it till early next week. I then called a friend to vent because I was so frustrated, that friend recommended MIDAS! I called them and they told me to bring my car by right then and they fixed it within 2 hours! They were so kind and helpful. They had amazing customer service, and I will be coming back! Really great experience here! Everyone knows you can cheaper oil changes just about anywhere, but Aaron and co-worker made it well worth it. Every time I have to get an oil change I go into defense mode and anticipate the dreaded phone call of you need a million other things done and blah blah. It's never too late to give a review! I had been loosing air in my front tire all day from a very large screw. I was so annoyed and stressed because I was already behind getting on the road for a ten hour drive. It was my third attempt to seek a business to put a plug in it which lead me the voice of a man who said he would be waiting for me at Midas. Minutes later, I pulled off Brookside, and I parked my 2013 Highlander. I started my way toward the establishment and then a man began walking toward me. His name: "Mr. Happy". When he shook my extended hand it provided me some immediate relief. You must agree, you believe good service is most likely to occur when the person doing the work acts like they care and seems eager to work! Overall, the man just appeared to be enjoying his journey in life! :) Anyway, while my car was up in the air it was discovered the business I went to the day before for an oil change failed to place the plug in correctly. Thankfully an easy fix. The tire was plug and the quart and a half of oil I needed was added so to replenish what had leaked out without any request for payment. It was a month ago this occurred and the manager may think I forgot to keep my word of promising when I said I had to write a review. No way! I still have the same opinion even after what time has passed. With the friendly conversations between other customers and the employees, i knew I wasn't special. Every person who came in was of the same kind treatment I've not experienced before at other car repair businesses. I left in a much happier mood! Mr. Happy, had double checked the whole car very thoroughly, twice, after listening to my concerns to travel so far with my 12YO girl. I am so very glad I called Midas!!!!! Horrible experience! They "fixed" several thing's on my car over the course of a year to find that it wasn't done properly and worst! Something's not even done!!! If you don't know what's wrong with your car or don't have someone to go with you if your a woman..wait! Better yet! Just don't go! I should have done more research. Took my car in for an oil change. The mechanic told me the car said it was still at 30% left, and said it wasn't due yet for an oil change. My experience was beyond excellent at Midas on S. Peoria street! I am from out of town and got a flat tire at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon. I found them on the internet. Once I got there they did every thing they could to help me out. They called multiple places and once they found a tire, they drove immediately to pick it up and put it on my car. was told by Ronnie the (Manager) and staff that the wear on my tires were making the car have a humming sound going down the road and also a tie rod needed to be replaced, Left my vehicle there with them and they completed the job ...putting new tires on and Tie rod, with of course alignment and balance included in a timely manner. I drove off the property and in 1 block I still heard the humming noise, I turned around and went back to and Ronnie had stepped out so the called him for me on his cell. Ronnie had one of his technicians ride with me and he agreed it was still there. Ronnie returned promptly and had me ride with him and he also confirmed the noise. They put it back up on the lift and couldn't hear a thing, had to be driven to hear the noise. Ronnie made a statement to me that for me not to worry,it would be fixed free of charge. He stood behind his word and ended up replacing a bearing assembly and a boot, normally would run close to 1,000 dollars with labor. This is a team of mechanics that can be trusted and they stand behind their promises.If in doubt you shouldn't be after reading this review, they are the real deal,Thanks Ronnie and also all of your technicians. read more

As a recent regular costumer at the Midas on S. Perioa in Tulsa, OK., I felt highly embarrassed and unvalued as a costumer. After making a call prior to coming into this particular location, I was reassured that I would be able to walk in and recieve an oil change. On a time constraint, I immediately made my way there. Upon arrival, the lobby was empty except for a senior woman and two younger women who had just walked in before me. There were two workers, one at each counter. The women in front were instantly greeted by both workers and assisted. Shortly after, both works began to do their perspective jobs. Being use to having been in these similar situations before I patiently waited. And waited... shocked when I noticed the store employees laughing through the window out in the garage, my patience began to grow thin. This was not the costume service I was use to, especially being a regular at this particular location. As the time passed so did other store employees, without greeting our notifying the employee who eagerly help the women in front of me, who had already found themselves seated and in conversation. I left the store with my hand down in shame and embarrassment. I briskly walked to my car and as soon as I started the car and began to shift gears, the employee that help the women in front of me was standing curiously at my window. I cracked the window to hear the man say, "how may I assist you?" At this point I could not believe what was happening. I responded with "I am in my car. I am leaving because I have waited too long and feel unappreciated as a customer." His unpersuasive tone and body language while responding was the icing on the cake for me, I told him have a good day and left the parking lot to never return to another Midas.
