One of the guys told me the previous mechanic "cross threaded the lug nuts and to replace them is $360" which is unfortunate but I also heard them tell two other people the same thing during my wait which I found sort of suspicious. It took them 30 minutes from the time they told me they needed to be replaced to the car being done and that labor fee was $254...... Without this absurd labor fee for a less then 30 minute job my review would be much higher. The person who waited on her told her to drop her car off the next day, put the keys in the dropbox snd when the store opens at 9 am someone would look at it. The next day that's exactly what she did and went to church, had some lunch and decided to call to see what the problem was since she didn't hear from them. The guy that answered the phone told het he never checked the car because he thought she was a customer who had just walked out of the store around the time she dropped it off. That makes absolutely no sense. He called her back and told her it was her alternator, $700. And she needed one of her tires fixed. He didn't take time to check her warranty and charged her for the tire repair. She had to ask him to check her warranty. He was totally nonchalant about it. We decided to go to another repair shop. It wasn't the alternator, it was the battery!!! Unbelievable

I've spent thousands of dollars at Mr. Tire, and won't spend another penny there…read more I'd gotten a piece of metal lodged in my tire at work a couple weeks back, and Kevin was fantastic. He tried to help me plug it, but that didn't work so I purchased a tire and Kevin happily put it on, even after their shop had just gotten flooded by a rain storm and all the workers had left. Unfortunately the air pressure sensor got broken during the installation, and Kevin told me to order one on Amazon. I just found the first one that would match with my car and ordered it. So I paid for their mistake, which I was still fine with. Then when they put it on, they said the sensor was supposed to automatically be detected by my car after I drove it for 5 miles or so. Then after two weeks my TPMS warning was still on so it didn't solve the problem. I took it back today to ask them if there was any way to fix it. Kevin was not there, but the manager was and he was a total dick to put it lightly. Basically told me I ordered the wrong sensor (again the one that THEY broke), and when I asked if he could help me find a new one or come up with a solution he basically blew me off. Don't know the guys name, but I've been a bartender and in the service industry my whole life, and his attitude was terrible and clearly didn't give a fuck about my problem, again that they caused. I'm trying to sell my car so having the warning light on is unacceptable and now I'll have to go elsewhere to fix the problem they've caused me. I'll go local or to someone who cares because they clearly don't. I've now spent hours and money on the problem and will need to continue to do so. Avoid this store if you don't feel like getting treated like a moron.

This was helpful as we just had a to clean a few things up and the car passed on the next visit. I also appreciated them allowing me to have my tires delivered and they put them on. My wheels didn't see a scratch. This cannot be said for a lot of tire places especially down in the Towson/Lutherville area. We're car people so going somewhere new is always scary but we needed that inspection before we PCS'd (Military move). If we were going to still be living here I would absolutely use them again.

1 am extremely disappointed with the service provided at Midas in Owings Mills…read more On multiple occasions, I sent female family members there for something simple: a tire plug. In both instances, the technician claimed there were five to seven nails in the tires. While road hazards do happen, that number raises serious concerns. It feels highly improbable and, frankly, suspicious. Side note:if the nail or scre is in the middle of the tread you're good for a plug! Don't let snake oil salesman tell you need new tires. Witness the tire removal and test process. Don't trust their practices. The end result? Nearly $800 for two tires and an alignment, justified with statements like, "It's standard to do it, miss." That explanation came across as dismissive and condescending. It is difficult not to feel that women are being upsold or pressured into unnecessary services at this location. To make matters worse, one of my family members was sent away during a snowstorm with the remaining two tires underinflated. She then had to stop at Royal Farms down the street and pay to inflate them herself. That is unarcentable and uinsafe. My concern is simple: customers -- particularly women -- should not feel taken advantage of or pressured into expensive repairs without clear, transparent justification. If you choose to go here, I strongly recommend closely observing the work being done and asking detailed questions before approving additional services. This experience has left a very bad impression. Professionalism, transparency, and customer safety should never be optional. -V(for the wommen in America review) P.s. I'm a guy writing this at the request of my female friends saying I shouldn't! I have been exposed to the inner workings of the automotive industry for 32 years and men specifically are taking advantage of women! My family members is where I draw the line. I'm calling you out and hope women listen to this and make more selective decisions! If you need assistance, reach out to us and we can help you avoid this!

Let's start with two stars (could have been better) then work our way up, shall we? It was easy to make an online appointment for an oil change and tire purchase (they were having a sale on tires and you know I love discounts!). I made the appointment then arranged to drop my vehicle and have a family member pick me up. Low and behold, I get a text the night before saying they moved my appointment. Okay, see how this could have been better? I called and changed the time to my convenience, not theirs. I dropped the car off with explicit instructions that I was buying two new tires, I wanted them put on the front of the car , leaving the back tires alone because they are newer tires than what were being replaced on the front. When I left, things were clear. My car was ready in a few hours (getting better now) and I picked it up. Assuming everything was done as instructed and expected, I paid and drove off (my bad, fist to chest two times). It was only after getting home that I did a double take. I got two new tires alright. They were on the back of the car. This meant my oldest tires were still on the front, and my back tires (newer and meant to be left alone) were gone. Heart sank, sigh............I called and was told to bring it back in. I did so and they got it on the rack immediately and made things right (working our way up to good now). When I say made things right, I mean they REALLY did. They gave me two more new tires and put them in the front as originally requested. It was a costly mistake for them, but by making things right earned my respect. Excellent customer service and accommodation by Derek. He really stepped up to the plate on this one. He listened and did the right thing without blaming or attitude (like my last experience here). Guess what, Firestone? I'm BAAAACK!!
