I never got hassled, never got rushed. Work was done well, and when I picked up my car, batteries were dead from a battery that needed to be replaced. I came to this Midas after having some engine issues in December with my Ford Escape when my normal mechanic was overbooked and I had to get in prior to a trip. They replaced all four spark plugs, ignition coils, and a solenoid. The cost was over $1500. Four months later, my check engine light starts flashing and my car starts shaking on the highway. Immediately pull over and have to pay $200+ to tow it to my normal mechanic. When my mechanic took a look he immediately said that one of my ignition coils has gone bad because the person who recently replaced my spark plugs replaced them with cheap ones that aren't compatible with my vehicle. Due to this mistake, I am now out almost an extra $1000. My boyfriend went and spoke with the manager who was defensive and not helpful. Looks like I'll just stick to my normal mechanic from now on. read more

I had an oil change at Midas a few months ago and was satisfied. In fact, I decided that I would continue to use Midas for future oil changes and recommended this location to my husband. I warning light came on in my car that my oil level was low, however I was not due for an oil change for another 1500 miles. I stopped by the location yesterday to inquire about a top off until my next oil change. The "gentleman" at the counter could not have been more rude and condescending. From the time I walked into the store, his body language imparted "what do you want? I don't want to deal with you?" He told me that BMW's warning light can be inaccurate. I explained that I was driving to DC and simply wanted a top off for peace of mind. He concluding our conversation with "Do you want to schedule an oil change?" He was refusing a top off and was very rude and dismissive; possibly exhibiting some misogyny. I will not return and would have been a solid returning customer. BTW, I stopped at a gas station in DC and the true gentleman topped off my oil and refused to take any payment! read more

I saw a special online for a $29.95 tire rotation and oil change at this location. When I got there the arrogant manager said it would be 96 dollars because of the oil grade. They did not rotate my tires and the manager said he did not honor that in that location because of the college kids or some nonsense, but he would cut me a break. Still not certain that they did that. The office was a mess, the manager was not available. Customers waited for 10 minutes for him to be available, and they don't care about customer service. After free services from Toyota I started coming here & today was my 4th time to change oil at this location which was horrible.. I told him there's $20 off on website. He did it but he raised oil filter price from $17.99 to $31.99. Also they are $10 expensive on oil change then other Midas location. I don't recommend anyone to come here. Bait and switch - had coupon that stated "Full Synthetic Oil Change with Tire Rotation". Verified twice with counter guy that they would rotate tires. When the car came out the tires had not been rotated. While the counter guy went to verify with the tech that he had not rotated the tires the manager Rob said, "we really busy, they'er trying to get cars pushed through." Counter guy returned and verified tech did not rotate tires. Manager Rob went out and looked at my tires and said he would not rotate because the tires "were bad". The tires were in fact not bad. Industry standard is at least 2/32" of tread and all four of mine had over double that. I asked for a partial refund for not rotating the tires and Rob said he would not give one. Clearly Rob didn't want to take the car back in to rotate the tires because they were already overwhelmed. If the tires truly were "bad" they should have said that up front, not after I paid for oil change and tire rotation. Alternatively, they should have refunded for the time it takes to rotate tires. Its pretty bad when Midas won't honor their own written offer once the customer has paid. read more

I went here for an oil change, nothing fancy, but had a great experience and would come back for anything else my car may need. I got an appointment easily, and even though I forgot the coupon they still gave me the discount. They'll tell you things they notice on your car but don't pressure you to pay for an unnecessary service. Great experience overall read more

I'm completely satisfied with my experience here. About a week ago I got my brakes replaced at this location. Before going, I did call to ask a few questions, and the guy over the phone was able to answer my questions directly and professionally. After speaking with him, I decided to scheduled an appointment online. I was promptly greeted and welcomed as I walked through the door and to the counter. It didn't take very long to get the work done on my car either. It was literally hassle and headache-free. Plus, compared to what the dealership quoted for the same service, I saved a significant amount of money (who doesn't like saving money?). So far, my brakes work great, and I have not had any issues with them as of yet. Additionally, I do have a warranty on them should an issue arise. I highly recommend their brake service. In the future I am willing to try an oil change. read more

I've been to many auto shops but I must stay this is the best experience I have ever had the staff and owner are kind and respectable. They don't haggle they let you know what you need done to your car and they fix it within a reasonable amount of time. I pulled my car in today and in less then 5 mins my car was being worked on. Servicing a German car can be hard but this Midas always takes care of me and my vehicle without complaint.

I took my BMW into Midas for a break light issue. They took excellent care of my car. George,the owner, is one of the most honest repairmen in the business. A small amount of liquid spilled on my car during the repair and George had the entire car detailed and did the repair free of charge. I've finally found an honest shop in Towson. I'll certainly be bringing my BMW back to Midas in Towson for repairs. read more

They are not open half the time. i attempted to make an appointment online multiple times and never got a response when they promise a response within "30 business minutes". i called the next day to schedule an appointment, whoever i talked to was nice but as i went to drop off my car in the at 7:30am when they open, no one was there. unprofessional and a waste of my time, money and energy. i do not recommend wasting your time here as well. read more

I scheduled an appointment to drop off my car and have my back brake pads replaced as well as an oil change. I knew going in that it was possible I would need all four brake pads replaced but I wasn't sure. On the morning of my appointment I totally forgot to drop off my car and called when I remembered. George, the owner, could not have been nicer and told me to bring it in whenever I had a chance. I dropped my car off at noon and he told me that by 2 o'clock he would have an answer for me about what needed to be repaired and what the estimate would be. The fact that they are an auto repair shop I was prepared for a laundry list of things that were wrong with my car and need to be fixed immediately. He told me that all four brake pads did need to be replaced but the rotors were fine and they would also do the oil change. By 2 o'clock he called me and told me that it was ready to go. When I arrived he also informed me that the brake pads have a lifetime warranty which is insane to me but hey I'll take it. This place will be my new go to anytime I need anything done on my car read more

I cannot say enough about the Midas in Towson. The night prior to my service, I had a tire blow out while on the highway and called AAA to help me put the spare tire on. Before arriving at Midas, I explained what happened to George, and he gave me a price estimate right away. My tires are exceptionally small, so my new tire had to be retrieved from their warehouse, which they did for no charge. While working on my car, George noticed that three out of the four lug nuts and studs had been damaged in the process of putting my spare tire on the night before. George called multiple businesses and even the Hyundai dealership in order to find the lug nuts and studs that I needed. The wonderful people at Midas drove to the Hyundai dealership in order to pick up and install and the new lug nuts and studs. All of this work plus an oil change only took two hours. The prices are very fair, and George is one of the most honest people that I have met in the auto industry. The Midas in Towson will absolutely be getting all of my business from now on.
