Now I am not a mechanic but when I brought my QUIET car in for my 8am appointment, and got pulled back about 850am, I am wondering why when its done and ready it sounds kind of loud. Was not that way before they took it in. Asked Larry, Curly, and Buckwheat why this was....Nobody knew. Said it was like that when I brought it in. Um NO it was not. OBVIOUSLY they did something to my exhaust but won't admit it. This was their 2nd chance since I had a bad experience before. They got my car in right away and fixed her up super quick I also got an oil change and tire rotation at a super affordable price! This place totally tries to rip me off. My vehicle was towed here because it was the closest shop. I was given an estimate for a $350 part and a total bill of almost $800. I checked the price of the part at Autozone and it was $140 there. Midas told me that the difference in price was due to their guarantee. I called my normal shop and they told me they would do the same work for $450 total. I still had to pay Midas $120 for their "diagnosis". On the paperwork, the Midas manager wrote a snarky, sarcastic comment. And before I received my vehicle, the techs at Midas over-tightened my radiator cap and it was almost impossible to remove at the next shop. read more

I have used the Glendale Midas location for my truck maintenance and I have always been satisfied with the quality of work and the customer service. Today I brought in my truck for a squeaky brake, and they replaced all 4 brake pads, and cleaned the rotors under warranty, despite the brakes being clogged with mud.(my fault) I am very happy with my experience with Chris and the rest of the guys. read more

Ive tooken 3 different vehicles ive owned to this midas. An each time. Something happened. The hoist broke my rear brake line. Or the mechanic did on.purpose on my cavalier. When i drove it there i had no issues. Left from.my oil change. An costed me 75$ part an labor for my brake line. Had my honda accord tooken in for oil change an alignment. An b4 i took.it never had an oil leak , then after my.car was finished. Then chinese man working there took my car was gone for 25 min or better. Just to test alignment he said. But long enuf to fuck my car up , they or he replaced my oil plug. Org one tht they broke. An put a rubber one on it. Then all my oil was leaking out. Horrible place. They tried to sell me all kinds of maintenance my car didn't need. The manual for my wife's Focus for example says the transmission fluid should be changed at 100,000 miles. The care wasn't even up to 70,000. They also tried to sell me a radiator flush, etc. read more

Mike at Midas has done an extraordinary job servicing our cars both for regular services as well as bigger items (struts). My girlfriend insisted on going to Midas when she moved to my side of town. Avoid this Midas at all costs. I have been a Midas customer for years and have always been satisfied with their service. However, this Midas does not live up to their promise of customer satisfaction. The manager there, Chris will tell you that he will "take care of you" but fails to do so every time. I came here last September for an oil change and was told I needed a new catalytic converter and exhaust pipe. I want to first say that my car is a 1999 Honda CRV so it's pretty old but I have always been good with my upkeep. Therefore, I paid $800 for it to be put in and the entire process took 4.5 hours. The delay was apparently because they did not have the part at the shop, has to order it and apparently when it came it was the wrong part, thus causing me to wait longer. This was a mistake that anyone could have made so I understood. About 2-3 weeks later, my car began making a loud clanking noise when I was driving it and when I was stopped at traffic lights. I took it back in and Chris apologized, told me that something had become lose and they "welded" it back in place. I understood and was glad at the time that they fixed it. Another 3 weeks later, the noise came back. Once again, I brought it back in and was told the same thing by Chris and once again they "welded it" back in place. I ended up coming in about 6-7 more times throughout the year until finally it was July. Understandably, I was quite frustrated. I am a student right now and I paid $800 for something that I expect to work. And yet, I was wasting time coming in for them to attempt to fix something that they put in incorrectly. I had even taken it into the Honda shop and they told me the exhaust pipe was not put incorrectly and when I brought that up to Chris, he simply told me that it was lose and they just needed to "weld" it back on. Finally, I was pretty fed up and asked for a brand new catalytic converter and exhaust pipe to be put in. I had a 1 year warranty on it and it had not yet expired. Chris was polite about it, told me to bring it in "anytime" and they would put it in. I called them twice the day I was going to bring it in to make sure they had the parts so I could work around my schedule. He assured me they did. I dropped it off and after 2 hours, one of the techs called me and said my car was all set. I asked if they had put the new parts in and the guy told me they did not have the parts and simply "welded" it back on. I was livid. I came back in, spoke to Chris to which he apologized (as he always does since he is all talk and no action) and told me they would have the parts next week and to bring it in. At this point, my patience is gone. I asked to speak to his regional manager, Mark to which I called and left a message explaining everything. Also called Midas customer service to file a report. I ended up getting a call back from Mark the following week. His demeanor honestly was pretty unsympathetic, explained how they were going to replace the part for free (wow, they're going to replace a part that they incorrectly put in for me for free? How crazy) and pointed out how my car was old. I did not understand how the year of my car had anything to do with the terrible and inadequate service I had been provided. To end this review, Midas did replace the parts for me - I ended up going to the Midas on South Reynold for the service. Their manager, Nick is awesome. He did the job for me within an hour, even replacing my muffler. They did the job in less than hour, while the Midas here had took 4 hours. I will never ever be coming back here again. read more

Staff Is Great and they do great work. Cheap oil changes and brakes, they do top notch work, definitely would recommend.
