Great location, quick and prompt. There was a 2 hour wait at another location and this place is convenient because you stay in the car and drive in for your oil change. Unfortunately my vehicle didn't qualify for the online coupon but the employees here were very resourceful and offered a great deal on a semi synthetic which would work for my car. They checked all my fluids, my tire pressure and were very professional. They even include a free wash for next door after the oil change is done. I always check to see how thorough an oil stop is by how they wipe off the under oil pan and area of the cap up top; they were very thorough and I would highly recommend this stop to anyone who wants friendly and professional service. I saw online there was a coupon for oil change. The coupon said "selected vehicles" so I called. The person I spoke to said that my car was accepted. When I went there the overweight older guy said that my car required "special oil" and my car is not acceptable for the coupon. I told him I just called to verify, I have never had to put "special oil" in my car. My car is 4 years old and I've had it since it came out, I've had free oil changes for a year, I've changed it, I've been to other oil change businesses never had I ever had to pay that much. He was trying to charge me the same price as the dealership up the street. I could to the dealership, get an oil change, fluids topped off, car inspected, and a car wash. For the same price! I didn't want to wait another week to get on the dealership schedule so I said fine. He then proceeds to tell me other extra cost I wouldn't have been charged from a dealership. I told him forget it. I waited a week more and got my oil changed at the dealership. Also the dealership had a deal of buy 2 get one free. And I used a coupon lol. It's very unfortunate and I'm highly disappointed I did not have a good experience here! I definitely felt he was trying to take advantage of me because I was a young woman. I guess I fell into the "pink tax" bracket. I went in for a headlight change and a wheel alignment. Guy told me that usually the wheel alignment means there's something else wrong with the car and they would need to do a suspension check if that was the case. Signed document saying it would cost $172 for this. 20 minutes later, he takes me out there to where my car is hoisted up and tells me I need new brakes (yes I d know this) and struts and ball joints, so they can't do the alignment until these things are done. I told him to skip everything else and just do the headlight, feeling grateful that he didn't do the alignment just to swindle some cashm turns out I still had to pay $172 for a headlight replacement (I had already bought a bulb, they wouldn't use it), and a "suspension check", which is basically them hoisting up the car and lookinglooking at things that need done. I am mechanic illiterate for the most part. But I DO know that no mechanic would charge me over $100 to look at a car and tell the customer things that are wrong. I have been screwed over too many times by mechanics- and am all too familiar with going into a shop for one thing, and they tell you that you need 5 more things fixed . I definitely felt like I was being manipulated, and this I am just mentally exhausted.And infuriated. And tired of places like this. An oil change place would've charged me $50 max for the headlight, would've used the one I had, and would have done the "check" for free. By the when I went to pay, I had thought it would be $50-$60 max because I got my headlight replaced (they wouldn't use my bulb, so I had to pay for ANOTHER new bulb) and they literally looked at my car. A suspension check? I've had plenty of crappy cars, plenty of mechanic interaction, plenty of suspension issues with another car. NEVER have I been charged for that, much less $100. I called ahead a few weeks ago on a Friday because I found a bolt stuck in my tire when I went on my lunch break at work. I asked if they plug holes in tires and the gentleman said yes, so I showed up about ten minutes later. They got the work done and I was on my way back to work, but I have no idea why it took an hour and a half for them to complete the work. The man working the front desk was friendly and helpful and if it wasn't for him, I probably would have been stuck at this location for three hours. Halfway through my stay in Midas's waiting room I heard him yell out to the mechanics in the garage: "You better stop working on that remote starter and get going on that Chevy because the customer is here waiting for that to get done." There was only one other person in the waiting room with me, so it was baffling that it took so long and I don't know why a little extra push was needed from a co-worker. The tire actually had two bolts in it and it only cost $18. I am grateful for the work they did because they got it done right and I was able to get back to work. It also didn't prevent me from getting home at a decent hour, but there were clearly some communication issues with the workers at Midas. read more

Took my car in Friday morning for front struts and sway bar links. Picked up car that afternoon. While driving my car Friday evening heard sounds coming from the same location where repairs were supposed to be made. Took car back Saturday morning. The service manager Roy drove it and heard it himself. He told me to bring it back Monday so that his technicians could soend some time with it and find the problem. As I drove the sound becomes more apparent. When I brought my car back Monday morning Roy drove it again and acknowledged that he also heard something. While at work I decided to call at 4:35 p.m. The technician Shiron answered because apparently Roy had an emergency and had to leave unexpectedly. When I asked what they had found out about my car he told me very nonchalantly that he and two other technicians drove it and didnt hear anything. Well, that is not what I dropped my car off for. I dropped it off so that it could be examined. It was apparent that the technicians don't work unless their manager is there because the technician was not at all helpful and seemed unbothered. When I reiterated that Roy had also heard the sound he replied "Well Roy isn't here." I told him I would pick up my car and ended the call and then promptly called Midas Corporate to file a complaint. I paid $700 for repairs. I shouldn't be hearing anything and I shouldn't have to return multiple times only to be told by some unmotivated mechanic that neither him or his other two technicians heard anything when they drove it. No sense of urgency or concern. Roy was great but his technicians lack customer service skills on the most basic level. read more
