Midas was able to repair my AC system after several other shops told me they could not. I am super grateful for their kind and honest service and for the fact I did not feel I was being taken advantage of for not knowing everything about cars. The repair was reasonably priced and I would definitely recommend this shop to a friend. read more

There was a tiny man who was upset a thriving female had a nice truck. He stole two bottles of water, my title, and my wheel lock because they tried to give me back a shredded one as i was informed it was unusable ( after successfully and quickly removing 2 tires) " the last person who used it shredded it" even tho myself and a AAA man- manually LOL were the last ones to tighten it- so be careful what you leave in your car- they are petty enough to steal water bottles here, and grand enough to steal titles and destroy alters made for your father. The owner will refuse to call you back. So these people will continue to be in people's cars and will continue to be unprofessional. I cant imagine what it must feel like to be a tiny man but apparently its worth destroying people's things over. But I trust the universe will show him the life he deserves. read more

Midas does my maintenance on my 10 year old vehicle. I have had my vehicle for that long with minimal issues and I owe it to Jose' at Midas. Jose' is my guy. My hubby and Jose' hit it right off 9 years ago and when my hubby finds someone he likes he supports the business because of them. Jose' is always friendly, always gives good customer service, and you can rest knowing if he's involved then you're in good hands. Today I came in for an AC issue and will come back to schedule an appointment to get my vehicle in. It's too hot in these streets to have ac issues. The value you get in quality care of your vehicle can't be priced but they are affordable. I highly recommend this business as Midas is a pioneer company but it's who works there makes the difference. I'm giving this a 5 star because of him. Ask for Jose' he's awesome read more

Very kind employees! As a woman who knows nothing about cars it can be hard finding a place for routine maintenance. This Midas won't scam you. read more

went in for an oil change, and the next day the bottom of my car ended up on the highway and I had to get a tow truck $250. highly don't recommend this place at all. Also will never confirm your appointment if you make it online. A blind man could have done my oil change better. read more

My 85 year old father is undergoing treatment for lung cancer. We were at Kaiser and had already had a complete tire blowout that morning on the 15. We made it to Kaiser on the spare. As we left, our spare went flat in front of Meidas. I don't know the name of the guy who was in charge, but he tried to inflate my ruined spare tire. My original tire that was in the truck earned a "Wow" because of how shredded it was. Meidas didn't have my tires, so he recommended a tire shop two blocks away, found an old spare and had it put on so we could get there, and was so kind and helpful. So was the guy who did the work. We made it to the tire shop, got our tires, and finally my dad could rest. In a day of bad luck, Meidas was a much-needed bright spot. read more

I came to Midas because my car window got stuck and was not able to roll back up. They were very understanding and let me drop it off right before they closed so I could leave my car in their garage overnight, so it wouldn't be left out on the street outside of my apartment. They did a great job at a great price. I definitely would recommend! read more

I came here after going to Walmart (oil change) and Costco(tire rotation) on a Saturday. Costco recommended I get a tire alignment. Good price but American Tire offered better price later time. Took time to get service but when finished. I notice my gear shift cover broken. I talked to front and he offered to put it back on but I have to pay for the product because he didn't know where to get it. He said it is normal wear an tear, but no problem with other places I was at during the day. He called the driver and asked what happened, he said it was slightly broken which I should of known and other store would point it out. Gave me excuse that it can happen with any service. He didn't offer to buy and get it delivered to my house. He said I go get it and they can install it. Didn't even tell me it was broken. Two star for no high price but didn't fix my concern. Update: I tried to ask for 30 minutes to get it fixed or covered, but he said it is not the team fault and it can happen while working on any car. This place need to improve its post customer service skills read more

They are quick, friendly, and thorough when they do checks, changes, and other services. Every experience has been straight forward and they help to find the best cost and quality. Regular or routine checks are always so informative and they even recommend when some parts need to be checked or changed. They sometimes even try to help me schedule out services so that I can get my affairs in order if they need to keep my car or when they can get parts for my requested service. The technicians are also great when providing a time frame and really do their best to get the services done as quickly and thoroughly as they can. I also get update calls for when my parts come in and when they are ready to start their work. Since they do not yet have a tracking feature on an app, I appreciate the time they put into calling me and getting me a heads up on my cars progress and updates. Aside from a dealership, I will only trust this Midas location to take care of my car, time, and wallet. read more

After paying a couple of unreliable mobile mechanics off Craigslist, I then realized I was having tons of noise from under my front suspension. I brought in to Jose who took the car for a drive to hear what i was hearing. He then lifted it up to see that almost every bolt of the part that the mobile mechanic has installed were all completely loose. They did my alignment for me which has never been done. And dramatically changed how the car drove. Honest opinions from the manager and Jose. They're on top of it. Thankful. read more

Didn't have a yelp account back in 2014-15 when this happened but I do now. To sum the entire situation up, they blew up my brother's car. After they replaced the transmission for us, the car caught fire. While he was in it, and while he was literally driving it. read more

Great service! Jose was very friendly and helped me fill up my coolant. He even taught me what to do for next time!

I had no appointment and they were able to accommodate me same day. I had my oil change changed within 40min. My gasket seal was broken and the Team was able to quickly work together on replacing it. Really great team work and customer service. I will be coming back for future business. Locally owned in Mission Valley I would recommend this location. Seems to be honest with the work they do. read more

This Midas location goes above and beyond! Excellent customer service and honest repair assessments! I love this Midas-- they have always been reliable, providing quality work and friendly service! Jose always greets me with a smile and the customer service here is stellar. I see a lot of people had the same experience I did here - a bunch of bays, maybe 8 or 10 - but only one or two in use! I went in for an oil change, since the sign says "SPEEDEE Oil Change". Well, apparently they didn't have fifteen minutes do change the oil. I went in around noon and they couldn't fit me in until the next day. Spoiler: BOTH oil change bays were empty! I went down the street to Qwik Lube and was done in 18 minutes. FU Midas, your customer service is crap. read more

I've come here a few times for an oil change. They're pretty standard, staff is nice, quick service.. Until I brought my car into another Midas location. Not much to say abiut the inside at car stops.. The waiting room was typical with a Keurig, water maxhine, and soda machine. Thet could always update to something more comfy and possibly clean the floors. The service was fast and accurate. They didn't try and hassle me on anything. They brought me in the workshop to see my tires and prove I needed new ones. I figured I did but glad they showed me. The pricing is in reason to a typical oil change. $39.99 The tires were price matched with Wal-Mart at $75 a piece. (I drive a small compact.) They were very professional and quick. I normally do all my service and maintenance with Meineke since they have certified mechanics, but there isn't any locations nearby. However, this place was up to par. I will return with my car and my husband's car for all our needs while here in California. **10% discount for military and college students read more

Although not really located in a convenient spot parking usually isn't a problem. There's a limited number of spaces. The waiting room has a soda machine, a keurig with several flavors to choose from. For entertainment while you wait they offer several magazines and two separate TVs. The staff seems to be knowledgeable and always courteous. I feel confident when brining my vehicle not to get pressured with products or services not actually needed. The waiting room is sufficiently clean and tidy. A unisex restroom provides the proper amount of facilities for necessary bodily waste. I recommend bringing your vehicle to Midas for your regular and emergency maintenance and services. read more

I had a great experience here today getting my brakes done. The dealership wanted to charge me a small fortune for new brakes, but Jose ran a diagnostics test to make sure I even needed new brakes in case the dealer was trying to nickel and dime me. I did in fact need new brakes and Jose was very friendly and helpful during the process. He also fixed a tail light that was out on my boyfriend's car, who was there to pick me up while I waited for my brakes to be completed. I will absolutely be coming here again for any car mechanic needs. Thanks Jose! read more

I needed new breaks and an oil change. I got lucky and there was no one there. I was in and out in an hour. I was really impressed that they worked so efficiently even with the shop being so slow. Professional. Courteous. My brakes started making a bad sound one afternoon so I stopped in to see what my options were. I'd never been to Midas before so I fully expected to walk away with an idea of what to do next. They diagnosed the problem and offered solutions within minutes. They didn't try to pressure me into any repairs that weren't necessary. In fact they found a couple of online coupons for me to use that saved me some decent bucks. I had a belt replaced that was clearly worn and was done in about 90 minutes. I may have waited all of two minutes to be seen. This will be my new neighborhood car repair place. read more
