They found out I had an oil leak I thought my car was just burning oil. They showed me pictures of how bad my engine looked inside. They also performed a Walnut blasting which cleaned out the engine. Took the car to Midas, they fixed it with a universal part and sealed a crack in the resonator the same day for a reasonable price. I was so pleased with this quick service as my daughter and I need this car to be running well on a daily basis. It's a small shop but the atmosphere is chill and the people are very friendly and respectful. I hate taking my car to the dealership but bringing it here was enjoyable and efficient. While I still talking to the owner trying to ask questions about the inspection, I noticed his coworker is trying to lift my vehicle, I repeatedly asked him to stop lifting before I finished asking questions. He continued lifted the vehicle on the hoist. Then the owner says the brakes are not passing safety before he even checked the actual brake themselves. I asked what is the thickness of the brake is remaining made it failed. He did not answer. I asked again, he did not answer. I insisted multiple times, then he said it is not the brake. it is the rotors has rust on the side. Then he offered me a package to replaced all the brake pads and rotors. And told me it is only one hour left for getting the parts. I asked what is the quality and warranty of the parts he offered. He said it is good quality, initially stated it is lifetime warranty, I asked him to clarify what condition of the warranty, he then changed and said only 2 years of warranty. I asked if I can bring the parts for him to install, he said no. I ask if I can come back again with a new set of brake and rotor is installed to completed the inspection. He tried to dodge the question. At this time, he kept pushing me to order a new brake and rotor from him. I refused. He then said I need to pay him the full inspection cost before release the vehicle. All these happen within 5 minutes of the vehicle got inside the shop. Basically, he is taking my vehicle as a hostage at that moment with the vehicle hoisted. I asked he for a full inspection report. He said he will but provided nothing. I kept asking for a full report for his work, at the end, he wrote a six-words as an inspection, see the pictures. The whole time I was there were being pushed to install a new brake and rotor on the spot without knowing any details of the condition of the brake and rotor. Again, if there's a 0 star, I will give this a shop a 0 star.

I have been a client of Roy Rump & Sons for about 4 years now and each time I've needed them, I was made to feel welcome by both the front-desk folks and the mechanical technicians. They explain all repairs clearly and with patience. They always provide as accurate an estimate as possible and, if they diagnose an issue and discover it was a simpler fix than they thought at the time, they gladly tell me that it will not cost as much to fix and that kind of honesty is why I will never go anywhere else. They always send me reports with digital photos and videos of the work along with their recommendations to keep my SUV in good working condition. There in only one little drawback... because they are so popular for all the things I mentioned, they are very busy a lot of the time and it can affect how soon they can book an appointment with you but, it is always worth the wait. Car repairs are not cheap, in general. I think I was charged fairly and got great service. I'm also gonna note here, this business was recommended on my neighbourhood FB page. I notice 2 horrible reviews her on yelp. On google they have a near perfect score. In my opinion, the two reviews don't hold water. One is by someone listed as being in California, with only one review. The other is local, also one review. I'm guessing they are fake accounts. Do with that what you will.

I was appalled when I realized how these Unico staff had tried to severely overcharge me! They should be ashamed of themselves. One noise was their fault and strangely, the other was just a "coincidence" (for a price of 1500 dols + taxes). 2 days later, I see by chance that the rear stop lights don't work. Spent an afternoon trying to find out why. Finally went to the dealership where we'd bought the car. The bulb installed by the garage is a bad one and is the cause of the headlight problems. A new cost at the garage and a 3rd day lost. We'll never go back to auto '' pro ''.
