Unfortunately my car broke down today. The upside is that was across the street from this Midas. I walked in upset and they were able to get me in immediately and diagnosis my problem and replace my battery. Michelle and John were wonderful! They gave me a lot of education about keeping an eye on the alternator and the price was fair. During my time waiting there was a tv and good air conditioning which was appreciated on a very hot day. I observed several interactions with customers and they had such a good rapport and tried to provide knowledge as well as good customer service. I feel very fortunate that this happened next to a shop that could help me so quickly and professionally. I will definitely be returning to have my car serviced when needed. read more

I cannot recommend this location or the manager, John P. They fail to complete simple jobs properly, and they do not stand behind their work. Their prices are also higher than the OEM dealership. Do yourself a favor and get a second opinion, before you go with these guys. Came in for oil change. Took them 1 hour. Plus they didn't change anything. They broke pieces and didn't even change the filter. Messed up my car and didn't even tell me. Other mechanic I went to found so many problems they did with only a simple Oil change. I hope this place goes out of business. The customer service was horrible and their work as men is dishonest. My daughter, a single mother and disabled vet, went here for inspection because it was close to her home. First mistake. They told her that in her 3.5 year old car she needed a control arm. and in turn, should replace the other one so it 'Was even" and that if she didn't replace the one immediately, she could be in a serious accident and her and her child could be hurt or worse. They gladly told her that she would receive an "Army Discount" Not sure why it was called that. and then they gave her an invoice for over $2,000. to order the parts and replace the control arms. Needless to say, she was beside herself and didn't know what to do. Her step father and I got right on it and got her over to a reputable mechanic we had been using for years. They showed us and allowed us to take a picture of the part in question, which I will post below. She was then told her car completely passed inspection after having to put new windshield wipers on, which Midas obviously missed, but added on the $2,000. I took it upon myself to call Midas headquarters and spoke to the nicest gentleman, who was shocked as to what he was hearing, to say the least. He said he would escalate it immediately and he did. The next day I got a call from a higher up in the area, who met me to look at my daughter's vehicle at the location she had originally gone to. I think the five men that basically stood circled around me, as we were under her car on the lift, looking at the picture they sent my daughter and what the control arms actually looked like, either thought I was just going to bend and say honest mistake and leave. I did not!!!! I told the men to step back and I was feeling VERY intimidated, while they could all see clearly, what was going on. The manager that met me there told me the mechanic no longer works there and that he had personally fired him. But not hearing what HE had said, they manager of the location (a few minutes later) said rest assure, this matter will be taken care of. OK??? does this guy still work there??? I understand that Midas mechanics work with commission in mind, also. I just can't believe that these mechanics can sleep at night knowing they gave a disabled vet a discounted after raking her over the coals with false repairs. This isn't the first time they've done this. I've read on google reviews, a dozen more stories like it, from this location alone. After me raising my voice when the HIGER up said it was a matter of interpretation as to whether it needed to be replaced or not, I literally said to him, "you have got to be kidding me? Are you looking at the same doctored picture and the same car I am looking at?" Then he said He would have passed it, but again it was a matter of interpretation and that it wasn't like brakes or tire and they had measurements you have to use to pass or fail, but with the control arm it's what the mechanics thinks. OH and BTW. I took it to two local mechanics (before I went back there) and they both looked at it and the picture that was sent to my daughter and were both shocked!!!! In the end, Midas offered my daughter a free oil change. That is laughable!!! They absolutely never took responsibility for their mechanic and what he did. She lost a day of work for inspection, the first time and lost a day when she had to take it to another mechanic to get it properly diagnosed and inspected. Never mind telling her that you need to order parts and do an unnecessary repair. To scare a mother of a young child like that.... There is a special place in YOU KNOW WHERE for people that steal from people, lie to people and take advantage of people. SHAME on you Midas on Street Rd in Feasterville PA. I just had work done at Midas in festerville and staff very knowageable and friendly I would refer to others for sure

I went in on a Saturday for an oil change and realized a few days later that my right rear tire was under pressured I also realized within another week that I had low windshield washer fluid. I had a coupon they sent me and still spent about $90 for full synthetic. I really wasn't happy to have to put air in my tire and fill my washer reservoir so soon after that visit. It's disappointing to get a phony discount and still not get basic services that should be done. read more

My wife took my car in for oil change and tire rotation 2 weeks ago. The mechanic changed the oil and proceeded to tell my wife the my tires were dry rotted, and needed to be replaced. He also said that I needed a front end alignment but didn't say anything about my lower control arm bushing being bad. Then he proceeded to tell her that I needed brakes all around, that I had just replaced a month ago along with rotors. He said that the rotors were good. He showed my wife a crushed up cabin filter, she had him replaced that. All together he wanted to charge her around $1500 for work that was not needed. FYI I just had my car inspected at Reedman's did not need tires, brakes, but I did need a lower control arm bushing replaced. Then I needed a front end alignment. I will never go back to Midas ever again, and I hope nobody else will. read more

This is not the place to go if u do not know what is wrong with your car they tell you your motor is blown when all it needs is spark plug to be drilled out and retapped 50 dollars cost as opposed to 3 to 4 thousand for new motor never even an option all they want is u to pay they're daily quota bad location only went there because I'm lazy usually do my own work and realized they totally are into ripping you off and this is not the first time I went there so shame on me for being lazy shame on you for going there read more

In a last minute need to get my tires patched, I popped into this Midas and was so pleased with the whole experience! Their customer service is on point, friendly, personable and professional. I was impressed on how they really took the time to explain to you what you need. I went to patch one obvious screw in my back tire and they caught another one on a different tire. And pointed out some upcoming issues I may have on the tread of another. Even took the time to answer some unrelated car issues and visually show me as we discussed it. It was a perfectly classic car commercial moment. :) With that said, I was offered many proactive suggestions about upcoming car issues/needs without any of that awkward pressure like you would tend to associate at mainstream auto shops. Honestly, it was relieving to go to a random auto shop and instantly feel comfortable and like you are in good hands. However, it is very rare to find a shop like this so I highly suggest to anyone who is still on the search for a reliable car spot, look no further and go here! read more

I love this Midas... Till I realized I got double charged with labor work fees and I'm getting scammed. 10/18/2022 I went in due to check the engine light. They are saying that it's the spark plug is the problem. They told me I needed to change the spark plugs and ignition coil. I did. I told them I got it done there in May 2022, but they said I had to change it again. I trusted, and I got it fixed AGAIN. You have to understand back in May, they replaced the spark plug AND ignition coal. And today, it's 10/26/2022 and my check engine light is on. I went to another place to see what diagnosis it showed... guess what? It says spark plug problem. I have receipts from May 2022 fixture and October 2022. I also realized how Receipt from back in May, they double charged me with labor charge than a week ago service. Due to COVID, I don't even drive long distances. I got ripped off with Money, AND it's not even fixed!!! It's the same problem again and again. In total, I spent $3000, and nothing got resolved. I will try to call Midas again tomorrow because this is a week after it got fixed. I cannot and will not pay additional fees. I feel like I'm getting played at the moment. I only go to this Midas and have all the paperwork to prove it. Just because I'm a woman, they think i don't know anything about cars. This is just not right. $3000 is a lot of money. This review is long overdue, as I've been coming to this location for all of my car's needs for several years now. I've always been treated like a highly valued customer. It's clear that the gentleman Pete, who runs this place, knows what customer service is about. If you're honest and fair, the customer will return again and again! More than that, he treats his fellow employees with respect. I've come here for a wide range of services and each time and while I'm informed in great detail of my car's needs, I've never once felt pressured to act at that moment. Once you've completed service, Pete will call to check on things. Again, great customer service. A little follow up goes a long way. If you want good service with fair and reasonable prices AND if you want to be valued as a customer, come to this location. Went to get inspection no one can drive a stick. Reschedule call me guy called out sick hand to reschedule. Next day get inspection and they dont fix brake lines but they are a break shop. Had to leave with no inspection and find another shop . How do you do inspection and can't do the work RIDICULOUS !!! read more
