I've needed new tires for a few months. After getting my fourth flat tire (due to nails on the road) decided NOW was the time! Paul in the front was absolutely the NICEST MAN! Unprofessional shop. Terrible customer service. Don't waste your time. Been to numerous Midas locations before with no complaints, but I will never be returning to this location. Dropped my car off on Saturday morning asking for a tire repair/replacement, given there was a visible screw in the side wall, and a full syn oil change. Got a call 5 minutes before closing that the car was ready for pickup, so I was unable to pickup. Closed Sunday. Went to the shop after work Monday around 3:30 where I waited at the front desk for 15 minutes before someone greeted me. They then proceeded to search for my paperwork which was lost, but told me the oil change was completed. I asked about the tire, they said they didn't know. So I walked out to my car and still saw the screw in the tire. They blatantly did not do the work I requested, communicated poorly, and had my car for 3 days. read more

i had no money went to midas for my breaks was assured i make financing paul told me all i needed to have was a bank account i told him i had chime and will the loan companies take chime he assured me yes than i was told if i open a bank account and put 49 dollars in there i would get financing still didn't get and was charged 3,617.17 for my breaks and ac i was charged 1000 just in labor fees alone and all the parts were 6 times the price my car is a ford escape 2013 they charged me more than my car is even worth. read more

Brought my car in for a break job. Was told I had two back calibers stuck and was quoted 1300. After telling them I would take it someplace else before spending that kind of money the man up front tried pushing for financing. Glad I got out of there, I took the car some place else and found out the calibers weren't stuck at all. I was shopping at the bridal district and my car died. Got it over to Midas and they originally told me they couldn't get me in until the following Monday. Turns out they fit me in within the hour! They didn't try to scam me into replacing the battery or parts I didn't need. Kept the place open until I got back to pick it up and even replaced my windshield wipers for free. I have to say, I have been coming here for my oil changes for a little over two years and they are tremendous. They explain exactly what they are going to do and if they find anything or have recommendations, they not only tell you about them, but are up front about whether you need it now or down the road. I got an oil change here and asked for the tires to be rotated as well. The guys were very unprofessional in the lobby and lied when I asked if the tires had been rotated. I knew they hadn't due to their markings. The manager gave me a free oil change and tire rotation to come back. Months later I set that appt up, got there and the manager said it would take several hours due to people leaving because of COVID, despite him telling me to come and it would be done shortly. Needless to say, I didn't have all day to wait on my car, so again I rescheduled. Next appt time I dropped my car off and when I picked it up, my car was damaged on the running boards from where it was put on the lift wrong. The manager denied it and when I talked more sense into him, he said bring in an estimate and they would pay. What a joke as the district manager called and blamed it on me. The Midas Touch... ...touched me wrong. Not like that, silly. Took my car in for an oil change. Cool. The guy behind the counter said it'd be done in an hour and fifteen minutes. So, I went home. Ate. Played Call Of Duty -- won a lot, lost very little. Walked my dog. Watched some videos on YouTube. Ran three miles. Did some Crossfit -- well, watched some Crossfit. Took a shower. Cut my fingernails. Learned how to fly a helicopter. Climbed Mt. Everest, backwards and blindfolded. Then, and only then, I checked my phone. Post 2 hours since dropping off my car. And, yeah, no phone call. Nothing from Midas. So, I took it upon myself to call. And -- what do you know -- my car was done. Upon picking up my car, the assistant manager let me know my car only took synthetic oil. He asked if anyone told me that. I said no. And because my car only took synthetic, my original estimated price of $29.99 skyrocketed up to $59.99. BOOM. Thirty dollars more in the blink of an eyeball. *SIDE NOTE* The original price of $29.99 ($10 discount because of some weekend super-special) was, according to the Assistant Manager, $39.99. But he didn't know that their business had a special going on. *side-glance emoji inserted here* But it was all good in the hood. He ended up giving me the $29.99 because no one told me about the synthetic oil and because he didn't know about his store's special. read more

I heard a weird noise coming from my brakes, and not wanting to take too many chances, I stopped by Midas one day after work. Since I didn't make an appointment, I did have to wait for about 15 minutes to talk to someone and make sure they'd have time to check out my car, but it was worth the wait. The guys here are great. The young man that worked on my car explained what the problem was, and made a small adjustment (FOR FREE!!). Above all this, though I really appreciated that he was honest and I could tell that nobody here is trying to rip you off. They're straight shooters. I'll definitely be a return customer. read more

I had just gotten a flat tire and they were able to replace it right then. I had even gotten educated on why my tire was flat (from me driving on a tire that is low.) I told the manager my exhaust was loose he said he would put new clamps on and weld A spot then turned it o er to the asst manager who used no clamps ad put welds on old rusted clamps the size of a tear just a dot I had him show me before he let it down 2 places not touched wires still holding rear another spot broken loose he fixed it again he said but wouldny show me it came all loose in 15 miles.now I have to find a real mech to fix it and pay again.ashame they do that to anyone especially a handicap person on disability SS.my x had her exhaust fixed at another midas on smith and hers was dragging ground ad had to be taken off by wrecker driver.should have learned then.with me on ss I can't get it fixed till next month when I get my ck.these people turn my stomach to do a bull s job and charge so much only for us to have to pay all over again.they can do oil changes I guess.but I will never take a car there even if I have to tow it 50 miles they know you can't do nothing about it and they just act so nice and helpful sickenin read more
