I was pulling an RV travel trailer and after stopping for gas in Williams, I noticed the casing on one of the trailer tires had just ripped off and was about to blow. I drove across town to the shop - adjacent to Napa Auto Parts - and showed up at 4:55 pm just before they closed. They stayed late (after hours) to replace my tire, and I had the other tire replaced while they were at it (6 year old tires). They didn't charge me extra for staying open late. Honest hard work. I had to get to Oregon that night, so this was crucial! They're worth going to for work on your vehicle even if it's not an emergency situation, if you're just passing through on I-5. read more

Our car overheated on the first day of our trip to the NW (busted radiator) and the tow truck driver recommended this place. Positive's are: -This facility is relatively clean -There was a clear explanation of the charges -The owner/manager arranged arranged for his own vehicle to pick us up at our motel at checkout time while we waited for the repairs -they were able to order the radiator and have it installed by 3 PM the same day we brought it in -I have every reason to believe they did an excellent job Negatives are: -they significantly mark-up parts they install (On Napas own site the $175 radiator cost $125. If I would've ordered it online from independent suppliers the cost would've been half that) -they recommended parts & labor that I didn't absolutely need(super thermostat and radiator cap) (see photo of estimate above) When I told them that I couldn't afford $600, they finally shaved it down to $430. (just for the radiator and coolant). I have no doubt that my own mechanic could've done the job for under $300 including thermostat and radiator, but I doubt seriously he would've done it the same day. Mid valley auto is a trade-off. They do quality work, but they charge higher than I would expect. Yet perhaps because of that, they have excellent turnaround time. read more

We got a flat tire while looking at wildflowers about 30 miles from Williams. The spare "donut" tire worked, but we wanted to get the tire fixed or replaced quickly. Mid-Valley told us they'd see if the tire could be repaired. We drove up and they started work immediately. In 15 minutes, they removed the flat head screwdriver blade that punctured the tire, repaired the tire and put it back on the car, filled the spare with air and returned it to its place, and adjusted the pressure on all four tires. The staff were friendly and helpful and the cost was much less than I'd expected. Plus they are a AAA approved repair center and there was a discount on the labor. Great service read more

Funny how the owner will only answer the positive reviews. Don't use these people they will ruin your car and when you go to court and prove they had shoddy workmanship they file bankruptcy. Now that the case has been dismissed from bankruptcy, I wish you would just pay your bills. I am a single mom struggling and that is almost the amount of my monthly rent. Marvin and his team saved us. Our Jeep gave out on a road trip up Highway 5 and they were the only mechanics in the area who would make time to see us. Not only did they squeeze us in - their shop was full when we arrived - but they were nice enough to let the dog cool off in their waiting room while they figured out the car. They fixed us up in about 2 hours and were reasonably priced. We were hours from home - they even helped us figure out a Plan B if they couldn't figure out what was wrong with the car, ranging from staying the night in town to getting us to the next rental car place 40+ miles away. I mean - seriously nice folks. Luckily for us, they figured it out, got the parts in from the local auto store, and got us back on the highway in 2 hours. You would think that an auto repair facility in a small town of 1800 people would be another rip off. Not this facility. It may not be the nicest place for auto repair, but, the people were efficient, well trained and made my repairs in minimal time. They are a AAA authorized repair shop and a darn good one. Without a reservation and traveling through the area they got my vehicle in and made the necessary repairs and got me back on the road. Congrats to Angel and the team for their help. read more

The folks at the Garage were just great. We had a flat out in the middle of no where, with no cell phone reception, and had to get off the spare that we'd be driving for quite a while. We got there not long before closing and they took care of us right away. The tire repair was done well, inexpensively and quickly. They got us on the road again. Left home early in the morning for the 350 mile drive north and our car would not start due to a mostly dead battery. We jump started the car and had no problems for the first 3 hours of our trip with lights, wipers, radio, camera, etc. We made a few stops and car started without a problem. We decided to get a new battery anyway as our battery was 4 years old and we didn't want to risk it dying again. We stopped at Mid-Valley garage and asked if they could install a battery on the spot. They were able to get it done in about 15 minutes for the cost of the battery (about $150) and about $30 install fee. Seemed fair to me. When I noticed they were done, I went inside to pay and they told me that the "Alternator doesn't work at all and the car will likely die in less than two more hours of driving." This made no sense to me as our mostly dead battery seemed to be charging all morning as we had been driving for 3 hours prior. There was never a Battery or Alternator light on the dash and I never saw them actually test the alternator, and I was watching. They wanted over $350 to replace the alternator but I declined since I was convinced they were wrong. Car has run great ever since and we drove about 500 more miles on it and started it in sub-freezing conditions. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt so Its possible the technician tested the alternator while I wasn't looking and made a wrong diagnosis. Whether it was a mistake or an attempt to extract more $$ from me I will never know for sure. They did a fast and good job on installing the battery but I would recommend double checking their diagnosis before spending a lot of money on major repairs. read more

Needed transmission to be flushed. I knew it was dirty and needed a solenoid B replaced because I had a diagnostic reader at home. It cost $641. to flush and replace solenoid. Then my trani overheated into the red zone by the time I got back to Sacramento. They replaced my transmission cooler this time for $450 and they drove it back to Sacramento. Then I drove the truck for five days after that with a whining noise. I know they had to have heard it on the drive back. After the five days it started slipping. I contacted them and never got a response. Frustrated by spending over a grand for a flush and solenoid. I had another company replace my transmission. read more
