The price was very competitive compared to other mitigation services in this area. One flat rate is quoted after a free estimate that took about 30 minutes. The mitigation system itself is more-or-less a pvc pipe the runs from the basement floor to the roof on the outside of the house. Not very attractive. However, Pete placed he pipe in the most discrete locations of the house. This caused him a little more work but was happy to accommodate my request when other contractors would not. I had a fantastic experience with Servpro and was recommend to Servpro by two friends who had also…read moreused them. They put me at ease during an extremely stressful situation. I had a sewage backup that occurred in my condo bathroom and HVAC drain. I called Servpro at about 7pm (Monday) and the project manager immediately called me back at 830pm that same evening and was willing to travel to me to assess the damages that same night. I scheduled the assessment the next morning and the project manager was able to accommodate my schedule. The project manager, Brad, was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He explained his assessment and explained why. Since there was no insurance claim filed on this incident, I was required to put a 50% down payment. As soon as I made payment, his team was very quick to start with the sewage remediation. By Thursday the team was setting up the containment area (with zippers for me to pass through when needed) and started running the dehumidifiers and air filters. On Friday they started work and by the following Monday they finished the remediation. During the weekend someone even came by to check the moisture levels on the machines. The remediation team, Landon and Jesse, were fantastic with vacuuming everything during and after the cutting of drywall to minimize the spread of dust (an extra precaution since the contamination area was already sectioned off with the filter fans running to catch the dust). They made sure all the trash was properly bagged and that all work was documented through photos. They answered all my questions, tested areas that I had concerns about, and explained the process of spraying and steam cleaning. They were extremely professional and friendly and really helped calm me down during this high stress situation. I would not hesitate to use Servpro again! They are awesome!

We had water in our basement from the relay switch not working on our sump pump. the servpro team…read moredid a great job but forgot to open a closet door which we had been charged $85.00 to clean in the estimate. They graciously apologized and started the cleanup which took two days longer. Both account mangers Nelfa and Zack said we would not be charged as it wasn't our fault. (I even have emails to support this.). Jesse, mitigation cheif was also there. They were very helpful. Much to our surprise , our bill from Servpro was $1300.00 more than the estimate. When I asked for details for the extra charges to make sure we were not charged for the extra days, we were instead bullied and threatened, no explanation. Ronda said the additional charges were approved by the insurance company which wasn't true. We were not even asked to approve so why not. And if they are experts, the estimate should be close to the final billing unless we were charged extra. Sadly, if you have to bully and threaten, there is something terribly wrong with management. $85.00 if done correctly with the rest of basement compared to $1300.00.

Jake Broderick and his team of Taylor and Oscar were exemplary. My calls, texts and e-mails were ALWAYS answered or returned very quickly. They came in at 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of other companies I had give quotes. They were honest to a fault, finding items we missed when we went through and I got calls to come get precious items that could have easily been pocketed. They thought we were ready for the final air testing but that came to a halt due to finding a leaking foundation and roof that had to be fixed before we could proceed with the test. That led to a three month fight with the HOA (If you know you know). Their equipment continued running in the townhome during that time and I was never once pressured to move things along faster. I was never treated as less than because I was a woman, something else I had not found when dealing with others in the construction field. Their encouragement, respect and support through a very emotional time was unbelievable. The final air testing was completed Friday and the house passed due to their diligence and attention to detail. As I started, 100 stars aren't even enough for this group.
