We noticed a black spot growing on the ceiling of our kitchen and became concerned about a roof leak above. We called Bakeris and Jeff came out to perform a roof system evaluation. He was extremely thorough, checking the ventilation in the attic to noting deterioration of our siding which had been installed improperly to roof damage from a recent hail storm, documenting it all with pictures so we could see it. There was indeed a leak causing the black spot in our kitchen and he immediately fixed the worn and torn flashing around our vent pipes. The fees charged were very reasonable and we have contracted them to come back and fix the siding that was installed improperly. The professionalism, courtesy, and clean up were all top notch and I highly recommend their services. Much better experience than we've had with other contractors and at reasonable rates. You can't go wrong with Bakeris. read more

First, I found this company on the Altoona Rocks Facebook page as frequently recommended. Second, I called my insurance broker to ask for roofing recommendations and this was the first one he mentioned. Third, they responded within 24 hours to my online request. When I called them back after another roofer failed to come, they were here the next morning. They confirmed my roof was missing shingles and some were curling. He let me call him back so I could contact the builder first about doing repairs. I will 100% be calling them if I need a new roof in the future. read more

Sam Hager, our salesman, was excellent in the initial contact, during the roofing process and with the follow-up when the job was completed. We had our entire roof replaced and the team took great care of our property, home windows were protected along with landscape, friendly during the entire process, and informative. They left the property in better shape than when they started. They cleaned up the area extremely well. I would recommend Sam. He was great to work with along with the entire roofing team. read more

We thought they were going to replace our roof and gutters, but apparently they could not work with our adjuster and instead of just letting us know they stopped taking our calls or returning messages. Very unprofessional! read more

Don't waste your time with these people! The person that I had, was worthless, wouldn't respond to email and ghosted me! Plus, if you're a woman, forget about getting any respect! read more

We had our roof and gutters done by Bakeris in March of 2016. The real test of a roof is time, and the highest compliment that I can pay them is that I never have to think about the roof. They did a fantastic job, they were extremely professional, and we couldn't be happier with the quality of their work. I have no problem at all recommending Bakeris to anyone who needs a roof or roof work. read more

Ben Bakeris and all their crews were polite and professional. The work was completed to my total satisfaction. The clean up was perfect as not one nail or piece of debris was left after the job was done. This was the most positive home construction job I have ever had with any company. I highly recommend them! read more

We can't say enough positive about the entire experience, from getting an estimate to the finished job. Tony Bakeris was very thorough explaining the entire process, very professional, and prepared with a packet of information about the company. All the financials were exactly as discussed. The job was done in one day, and the clean up was quick and thorough. Tony even walked the entire roof and inspected it personally! GREAT JOB, and would highly recommend this company. read more

This company is the BEST!!! From Bryce Kiester, the salesman, Jeff and Ben Bekaris, Steve Gee and the incredible workers, they are a class act. The employees work so hard, consistently, cleaned up as they worked. Family-owned, they have been in business 29 years, definitely not "storm chasers." Even when calling the office, Stacy greets you with; "How can I make this a good day?" Wow, I wish all businesses had their incredible work ethic and dedication to customer satisfaction!! read more

I have not personally used Bakeris but my friend has and she was incredibly impressed. Jordan with her service man, he was super polite very professional and the fee was less than expected. She said it wasn't even about the money it was more about the professionalism and how Jordan did business. We had another friend use this company several years ago and they said the same thing. read more

I recently needed an estimate on getting a short list of repairs done to my roof so I could sell my house. After leaving a message to call me back, they finally did 3 days later. Except, they informed me that they wouldn't just do the repairs the inspector had noted in his report, but instead they wanted $89 to come out and give me a "total roof system evaluation". I said no thanks. What a scam. I don't charge for estimates with my business. I can't believe there are other businesses that still do. read more

Great customer service, reasonable estimate, quick roofing install and good follow up! We highly recommend them!

Bakeris Roofing recently installed a steep, hip roof on our home. The job was bid by Bryce with a full explanation of what to expect from tear off to installation to clean-up afterwards. Every aspect from beginning to end was perfectly orchestrated with highly professional employees throughout the process. Bryce not only bid the job, but he came to the job site during installation to review the progress. Another employee, Victor, also checked on the job during installation and afterwards. Every effort was made by the installers to cover and protect landscaping. Upon completion, the installers left our property in perfect condition and used a large magnet to collect all loose nails hidden in the grass. Bryce completed a final inspection, and assured us that Bakeris Roofing is still on call if we ever have any problems. We highly recommend Bakeris Roofing due to their professionalism and personal interest in pleasing their customers. read more

After just 2 weeks of being homeowners, we had a storm do major damage to our roof. We received estimates from multiple roof inspectors and Bakeris Roofing was in the middle for estimates, but had a great reputation comparatively. Bryce Kiester was our Sales Specialist and we chose Bakeris Roofing because Bryce was so knowledgeable and attentive. He answered our many questions and within just two weeks we were able to get on the schedule. The construction team completed the work in just one long day--they were very polite and cleaned up after themselves well. Bryce came back to verify the work and we were so happy with the timeliness and quality of work. We were waiting on a check from our insurance company, Bakeris Roofing was super flexible and patient with the payment! Bryce even sent a personal thank-you card in the mail, which reminded us why we chose Bakeris in the first place! There are many options for roofs in the area, I would highly recommend Bakeris (and specifically, Bryce) for your home! read more

I called Bakeris to come out to look at my roof for repairs as there were water spots on the ceilings in several places. Jordan came out and walked around on the roof, then came in and sat down with an estimate of around $4500 for repairs and said they would like a certain amount of money to get me on the schedule. I had sticker shock and said I needed to speak with my husband before doing anything, especially giving them money to get on the schedule! Then I was told I had to pay $89 for a service call. I said I had not been told about a fee or I would not have had them come out. There are plenty of companies who don't charge a service fee for an estimate. Also, Jordan did not check the attic space either as I was told that he would. Regardless, I spoke with 2 more companies who did not charge me a fee and they both mentioned I had hail damage. I am now getting a new roof and my ceilings painted and repaired for the cost of my insurance deductible. I would check around before using this company. read more
