They were thorough while quoting, assisted us through all of our concerns, and provided a range of options to solve some of the more unique aspects of the project. The workmen were prompt, efficient, and professional. The job was completed exactly within the parameters we set. The team followed up a few weeks after the installation and immediately returned to fix a small issue. Andrew's integrity really shone through recently, however. Years after the roof installation, we called Andrew's in the hope they could assist with an issue we were having. Part of our home has a covered patio where the roof decking is exposed from below. Because the decking was so thin, the roofing nails protruded through the underside after the new shingles were installed. In hindsight, this was a unique situation that probably would have benefited from a different approach during the installation. Years later, when the exposed decking itself began to weather and deteriorate, Andrew's once again stepped up. Even though they really weren't obligated to do anything at that point, they came out within a few weeks and completely enclosed and finished the underside of the patio, including painting it, leaving it looking better than before. That kind of service is rare. They didn't have to stand behind us years after the original installation, but they did anyway. It's easy to find a contractor who will take your money. It's much harder to find one who still answers the phone years later and genuinely wants to make things right. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Andrew's Roofing. This is our second home and our first sexy roof purchase and I'm super pleased with the aesthetics and function. Also, Gerardo has such an amazingly positive personality, he's wonderful to meet up with and discuss the details of how he's going to make your roof better, from ventilation to water proofing to preventing storm damage. And he's so gleeful in sharing his knowledge, that I would say (with the utmost respect) that he's a roofing geek. If there are roofing conventions, he's probably there learning more new "exciting" things about the best and newest techniques for better insulation and blah blah blah... The crew, OMG, the crew was amazing and they worked so darn hard. They ripped everything off and then stayed late to get the majority of it finished for water-proofing because they thought there might be some rain the next day. These guys got to our home at 7 am and were there until a little past 10 pm. Holy cow, that's service, I mean I'm just flabbergasted at how hard these guys work, I hope they take seriously awesome vacations in the winter cause it's well deserved. Our neighbors (we live in the country, so its relative) had major home renovations and we watched the progress of their home every time we drove by. When we decided the time was right for our renovations, we talked to our neighbors. They were so very excited to share and recommend the Haggerty Team. It was snowing many days during the install, yet they were still there working away in their Carharts. They always made a point to watch out for my old dog and see that she was taken care of. Our house has totally transformed and Haggerty did it. The guys went above and beyond and made sure to repair any damage to the house before siding over it. On balance, not a good experience with Haggerty. Will try and be factual and objective, but realize…read morethe later may be hard to do. I was referred to them by a trusted co-worker after hail damage to my roof. The company quickly sent out an inspector, they proved a quote and the work was approved by our insurance company. We selected the materials and colors and delivery of the materials was timely. The work was started in November of 2019 - note I said started but not finished. The roof went on quickly and though there were a few corrections needed, it went as well as could be expected. Four downspouts that were to be replaced weren't, and remain that way to this day - over 9 months later. Additionally, they didn't replace the leaf guards in all areas of the gutters and several gutters were clogged with roofing debris, which continues to cause overflow issues and is damaging the landscape below. Finally, they left the yard in a troubling state of cleanliness due to the amount of debris, tacks and roofing nails left behind. To this day, I continue to pick nails out of the yard and only hope my dog doesn't get one. This spring, we contacted them about finishing and they were most apologetic. Yet, nothing happened despite multiple exchanges of emails. We had been holding back $5,000 until the work was completed but in a gesture of good faith, I paid them $4,000 (wish I hadn't now). They finally sent a guy out to measure the downspouts and look at the missing gutter guards. And despite his good attitude and promises, we still don't have the work completed. We were told that since ours was such a small job, it was hard to get attention to it (of course, when the project was initiated it wasn't a small job). I've informed Haggerty management that regardless of whether they finalize the work or not, I would not be releasing the final $1,000 due to the extreme delay, though I hoped as a Des Moines based company that emphasized "do it right" and Iowa values, they would act responsibly and complete the work. That has not happened and I will now need to hire another company to complete the work (and then it's likely a small claims suit to recover the difference in costs). In good conscience I can't recommend this company, and that is unfortunate as they nearly got it right. But they really got it wrong in the end.

Jason was very professional & affordable, and went the extra mile throughout the project to make sure everything was done well, and the clean up was thorough. He was very responsive throughout the entire process, and I never felt like I was worried about the project having any complications or getting dragged out. On the first day, Todd was here as the crew set up and we walked around the house with them to review the project. Each day, Todd called as well as stopped by each day to check on progress. The crew was courteous and worked some long days in the heat to put new siding on our home. They cleaned up the site very well. The crew for the gutters arrived 2 days later and were also very good to work with, cleaned up the site once work was done.
