Joe from mid-Hudson container is a scammer, i booked a container with him then within a couple of hours I canceled due to my contractor was able to secure a container elsewhere to do work on my home. I called to cancel and left a voicemai, no call bac, text Joe regarding cancellation and I would like my refund processed and he confirmed via text he received cancellation and will refund. A Couple of days went by and no refund issued, he made excuses via text that his bookkeeper was out and that she processed it days later and i never received the refund. He even tried scamming my credit card company leaving the charges pending. I had to dispute the charges with my credit card and I'm so glad I kept the proof of the text communication with this dishonest guy. Beware of this company, look elsewhere. What kinda person does this to people. read more

You decide if this sounds reasonable: container to be delivered this weekl Spent a week arranging for it. SoI on appointed day at 8am..no truck.Noon?No truck. So I call them . They hit a deer night before and truck is out (but its ok to let me run 80 miles round trip..with workers and not tell me?). Then 'we can deliver at 5 pm on the delivery day. (How do you do that when you have no truck?..They then said 'we have 6 so 7 trucks"So i hang out. No truck no call!! Then it becomes this Thursday,friday,saturday..No truck..no call. Then it becomes 'we dont have a dumpster and cant find anyone to loan us one'. Then it becomes 'well you are paying Bank check and since its not a credit card it doesn't generate a bill' ( but 5 emails and 7 texts likely should have enlightened them that a dumpster was to go out. Then it becomes ' it might be after Saturday as soon as we find a dumpster'.Forgetting the fact I lost a days work,and have workers,and the client wanted the stuff moved...it was quite a financial and time loss for me (Im a small business too!) In the end I had Jory's deliver within 3 hrs. Paid by Bank check. Filled dumpster. A holiday weekend tho..so it leaves Tuesday. My advice is dont give your credit card number ..theres no assurance they will show up. And the return of a CC charge has the possibility of a glacial time frame. After 54 yrs I know being in business is often hard and unpredictable...but in this case, it beyond the believably meter..lol read more

If I could give a negative star I would. This company has a terrible response time, they do not call back "within an hour" as stated on the voicemail, and are quick to charge! They charged us a day before the container was even delivered. Our container was not picked up yesterday, 8/15/24, and as we sold our house, the new buyers are unable move until the container is removed. If you're under a time constraint, please do not use this company! read more

I wish I did not have to give any stars but unfortunately it does not let you proceed without putting one. DO NOT USE this company Mid-Hudson Container, Joe Russo. We went back and forth for weeks via texts, after an email quote was sent from him. Excuses made staffing,truck issues etc. Joe the owner had a $500.00 deposit that was done by a credit card from a Go Fund Me of my friend who is very ill and now disabled in a wheelchair and has been in and out of the hospital. Some friends rallied to help her and bottom line he- Joe could never make the clean out happen.We ultimately had to find another company they were called on a Saturday at 2:00 pm and they showed up that Monday at 6:00 am, they were very understaning and empathetic of the situation my friend was in.We have text messages stating Joe was going to refund the $500.00 deposit on August 5, 2024 and he said it takes a few days to process. Still waiting, after texting again & again he said he didn't know how to do a credit card refund so he was going to mail a check, guess what..... still no check, what kind of business man doesn't know how to do a refund to a credit card ! ! We have called his cell, his office, texted and emailed we have been Ghosted. Even my friend with everything she has been dealing with she has even tried reaching out to Joe to say she needs the money to pay bills..... no response. He knew the delicate situation and he still has NOT refunded the deposit of a job he NEVER did .He took the money and ran. We will ALL and their are many of us now involved we will be leaving negative reviews on every possible platform so noone else can be treated and scammed like this, this is thievery at its best.He may be in contact with you but once the deposit is made he was done without even providing a service. BEWARE , DO NOT USE Mid Hudson Container!! Not with the stress and it continues as my friend really needs the moneyback on her Go Fund Me Card since she is disabled , which obviously Joe does not care. Called around for pricing for dumpster rentals. Mid hudson was the cheapest, and could get my dumpster delivered when needed. Great customer service!! Delivery driver was very professional,made sure the dumpster was set exactly where I wanted it. High recommend Mid Huso Container!!! read more
