They were so friendly unhelpful and worth the price! They hauled away the stuff I needed to get rid of. I'm going to use them in the spring time to help empty out my storage unit. I would recommend them to anybody. read more

Horrible!!! They showed up an hour and a half late and damaged my flooring. They put deep scratches into my parquet flooring and I missed an appointment. I am not sure why they would drag furniture and they had a very hard time lifting a very small couch and two chairs. The owner George did not even apologize and tried blaming me. He was extremely unprofessional, unapologetic and did not take any responsibility. He said we had to choose between the repair of the flooring or reimbursement of the removal cost. They will be held responsible for both the repair and reimbursement. That is ridiculous. This parquet flooring was absolutely immaculate in terms of scratches. We had just bought this house. So upset. read more

I agree with all the other reviewers that this is an excellent and reliable company to do business with. Two young guys arrived on time and called me while they were coming up. They were very professional and paid attention to the walls! I had an entire house cleaned out and used 2 truck loads and these guys did an excellent job. When they arrived, they took a quick visual inspection of all the items and gave me a fairly accurate estimate of how many truck loads it would be and all was taken care of after I approved it. These guys worked hard...all day and did a great job. I would say everything from my first contact with this company until the final clean out was done with professionalism. read more

I highly recommend Think Green if you need stuff taken away, especially if you care about keeping things out of landfill. We used Think Green twice during the emptying of my mother's Mount Kisco house. The first time, they thinned out the furnishings before we started showing the house and, the second time, they came for a final clean out. Both times, the two young men that came were prompt and professional, sweet even. They looked at what needed to be taken and gave us an estimate before they began. It was quick and clean with no scuffs or dings to the house. As a bonus, Thing Green tries to find places to donate or recycle as much of your "junk" as possible. Two thumbs up! read more

I am thrilled with Think Green Junk Removal. They were quick to return my call, flexible when I needed to reschedule. The staff was pleasant. I will use them as in the future. read more

Excellent company. The team of two were courteous and non judgmental. Arrived ahead of the stated time. Gave me an estimate price which I approved and they went right to work. Moved out a 3 seater couch, 2 stuffed chairs, old dishwasher, big metal cabinet, 2 beds, 6 dead TVs including a big old console, several old vacuums, 2 old desk top computers, printer/faxes and just tons and tons of trash and old clothes, well over 100 bags. House was filled with dog and cat hair also, and they contended with that. Even helped me catch the hiding cat!! They were fast and neat - very professional. The price was very fair for all they had to do with 2 loads. Took one and a half trucks. Price based on how much is in the truck and surcharges on disposing TVs and other electronics. But the peace of mind after all the junk disappears is priceless. I highly recommend Think Green Junk Removal. read more

If you're going to have a parent die in another city unexpectedly, hopefully they won't be a hoarder. Or infirm to the point where they're living among boxes of rotting memories, expired homemade cancer cures, and god what is inside that box? But if you do and you live in or near Duchess County, these guys are amazeballs. They are friendly, sympathetic, and they clear out what needs clearing. They do what you're most likely crippled by exhaustion and grief to do yourself. Lets face it, by the time you've rescued your photos, the jewelry, and the keepsakes, you just need the crap tossed or recycled or taken away. These guys are courteous, they donate what they can, and avoid turning it into more waste. That way you can just curl up on your couch holding your Raggedy Anne doll crying "why, mommy, why" for the next three months. read more

I needed someone to haul away just about everything (furniture, clothes, kitchen stuff, electronics, etc.) from a 1-bedroom apartment. I was nervous about hiring a company that none of my friends knew anything about, but the online reviews were good and I was desperate. To be honest, the man I talked to when I called to make an appointment didn't inspire confidence. But the 2 young men doing the job showed up on time and did a great job. It was not a simple removal. There was all kinds of stuff to go through, but they followed my instructions and checked with me when there was any question. Further, after I explained to them that the apt. manager would not allow them to park their truck by the convenient back entrance to the building, they did not complain about having to park on the street and carry everything the extra distance (they filled up the truck). I was also pleased that at least some of the stuff might be reused/recycled. Cost was $640 plus tax. At first I thought that was a bit high, but then talked to a friend in NJ who had junk removed - maybe a little more junk but a much easier job - and it was much more expensive. NOTE: This work was done in Feb. 2020, I just didn't get a chance to do the review till now. read more

Scheduled pick up of furniture from my storage unit. They said they were faxing over required insurance info. Didn't. Can't. Just said sorry I forgot and couldn't provide proof of insurance. read more

I have used ThinkGreenJunkRemoval twice and I have been highly satisfied both times. They are a professional, courteous and honest company. They kept me informed by phone on when they would arrive and when they did, they gave me an estimate on the spot after analyzing the junk to be hauled away. They started right away, worked quickly (even though one day was VERY hot) and left everything clean when they were done. I like the fact that they try to re-use or recycle what they can instead of just dumping everything into a landfill I also like the fact that they are a locally-owned small company. The money spent on their services stays here in the local economy. I have no reservations about recommending this company to others. read more
