She had normal crowding: my wisdom teeth were impacted and coming in at 90 degrees, as well as suffering from bacteria pockets he showed me on the Xray caused by the impacting, which also caused a cavity in one of my four wisdom teeth. Knowing this, you would think I would have been prescribed antibiotics. On the second day of being in excruciating pain, he prescribed me more Hydros. On the third day, after informing the surgeon I was throwing up, I was told that the risk of infection is rare and I probably have the flu. Although he said I can send pictures, and did try to schedule an appointment, I ended up going to the ER and informed I had a severe infection and put on antibiotics. To make It even worse, when I went to him for my follow up appointment, the surgeon tried to tell me that the infection was from food getting stuck in the holes even when I explained that I had kept up with my oral care and did not eat any solid food before I went to the ER. Do not come here.

Although she is elderly, when her son (my hubby) took her in to see him today he said "nothing he could do about it" & referred her to another surgeon (Dr. David A. Kostick in Ponte Vedra). When I called to make an appointment there, their office rep advised he "was sick of getting referrals from this Dr. Falluco & his office as Dr. Kostick does not take Care Plus Insurance & never has." I called back to FL Plastic Surgery & was advised by Esmy that Jennifer would have to get with Dr. Falluco to "perhaps see if they cd find a doctor that takes her insurance." Very uncaring, no "I am sorry for the error, Dr. Falluco made an error & we will get corrected, or that "so sorry your elderly relative has to go through more pain & suffering due to our errors." Please don't walk, but run from this group! The long wait, non-caring outlook, & lack of compassion is certainly not worth taking chances with as well as your health issues. Whey did you not tell me this before my appointment in the office at the desk and after I was told over the phone my Insurance would pay for it! I genuinely keep coming back because of the friendly staff, and trust. Now if or when that day ever comes where surgically I'd like to have something done, I'd choose Contoura. But for now, I'm happy coming here every few months for things like skin care, sun damage repair, advice (that's a big one) etc. Living in Florida, you Need a good skin care plan & regimen to keep the sun damage away. With skin cancer running in my family, I try to stay ahead of the matter as much as I can. A few years back I did a series of IPL laser treatments that really helped reverse some of the sun damage I did in my teens & early 20's by laying out on the beach entirely too much. Contoura's also helped me with embarrassing things like hormonal adult acne. I never thought I'd have to go through a mild phase of my teenage years all over again in my thirties but, there I was a year ago, trying everything under the sun on my own to get rid of it and nothing was working. I booked an appointment at Contoura to express my concern and the remedy was way easier than I expected. Tretinoin. That cleared everything up real quick plus helps with fine lines &/or wrinkles.
