I had my eyebrows microbladed by Jess today to cover a year and a half old microblade job done by a different artist. She took time to measure out my brows, analyze the previous work, and provide me with suggested alterations. We decided to go darker and slightly thicker to improve the look of the brows. Jess took lots of precautions to make the room as sterile as possible and used brand new tools that were still in their original packaging. Overall, the process went by super fast and was pretty painless thanks to the numbing cream she applied first. She also spent a good amount of time explaining the after care process to me and showing me the right way to care for the brows. I'm hoping this gives me better results in the healing and retention of my brows. It is clear Jess is an expert in her craft and really cares about her work. I have been obsessing over getting micro-blading done for about two years now. As you can see my eyebrows were over plucked for many years, leaving them to far apart and very thin. Going in public didn't happen before drawing eyebrows on with an eyebrow pencil. I was introduced to JessQ by Muze Salon Suites owner and operator Amy Nicole. JessQ was eager to sit down with me for a one on one consultation where she was able to listen to and address all of my questions and concerns of micro-blading. During the consultation she explained the whole micro-blading process. What to do before, what to expect during and what to expect after. I was able to book an appointment easily that worked around my schedule. I was sent a reminder three days before as well as the day before my appointment. The day of my appointment I was very nervous. JessQ could sense my nerves and made me feel as comfortable as possible. She explained everything she was doing every step of the way from measuring my face and drawing the eyebrow outline, to picking out the pigment color that best suited my skin tone and hair color. She opened sterile blades and shading needles in front of me to insure that I knew everything was new and clean. During the actual blading process she used a numbing cream that kept the pain very minimal. Once she was done I could not believe how great my eyebrows turned out. I was in shock. Before leaving JessQ went over after care procedures once more with me to ensure that I knew how to properly care for my new eyebrows. I highly recommend JessQ for any Micro-blading/Micro-shading procedure. I will definitely be following up with JessQ for all of my eyebrow needs in the future. read more

Jessica is the sweetest, most genuine microblading artist you'll meet. I had the pleasure of going to her when she was still in New Jersey. I used to just go to her for eyelashes, until she suggested I tried out microblading, since my eyebrows are a bit sparse. I've always wanted to microblade my eyebrows, from seeing all the instagram pictures and videos, but I was too chicken. Jessica reassured me that it wouldn't hurt as much due to the numbing cream she uses. I trusted her. So a couple weeks after my last eyelash extentions appointment, I got semi-perminent eyebrows! The process (if it's your first time, this should help): She gave me a form to fill out, which was just be about the procedure, medical history, and the after care...she will be making cuts in your skin afterall. She then map out my eyebrow shape, using some measuring tools to help her figure out the best shape for my face. Then she asked me if I was satified, since it's MY eyebrows afterall. At this point, be absolutely sure you like the shape, since there's no turning back...till it fades. lol. After we figured out the shape, she mixed up some colors for my brows [Aat first I thought the color was too dark, so I asked her to mix something lighter, however, once healed the color came out a little lighter than expected, so when I came back for a touch up, we chose a darker color.] This is then followed by the numbing cream, which she lets sit for about a half hour before beginning the procedure. The procedure itself wasn't very painful, just uncomfortable. She kept asking if I was ok, since she knew I was a baby. If you are in too much discomfort, be sure to let her know, so that she will stop and add more numbing cream. I would suggest bringing headphones, cause the scraping noise is scarier than the actual procedure, lol. Post microblading: I looked like a hundred bucks the first few days, until it starts peeling. Once it's done peeling, it looked like I didn't even do my eyesbrows. But eventually, the color returned..a bit lightert than the initial color. However, after the touch up, my eyebrows looked nice again. I love the fact that when I wake up in the morning, I have perfectly "on fleek" eyebrows ready. No more filling, and they look so natural! I highly recommend going to her, you won't be disappointed! read more

Jessica does such a fantastic job, carefully blading each line so it's hard to tell which is the microblading and which is my natural hair! Got my eyebrows micro-bladed three months ago. At first they looked good, but after few weeks of healing I saw that their was a extra sharp line made to my eyebrow that now I have to cover with foundation. People say you get what you pay for, welp I paid over 500 so you'd think she'll actually do a good job on it. Really disappointed!!! I brought my mother for an appointment with Jessica for eyebrow microblading and microshading. My mother loved the process and the results. Jessica was very patient explaining the procedure in detail and listening to my mother requests. She draw her eyebrow shape a couple times before the procedure until my mother was happy with the shape. She gave ample time for the numbing medication to start working so there was no pain or very very minimal pain. She used that time to go into detail over the post-procedure care. I could not get Jessica to return my call, so after 2 days I texted her. She returned my text, because I live over 2 hours away, she said she would do a consult over the phone, if I would take a picture of my brows that evening, no make up, which I did! I had expressed, I needed/wanted it done before vacation, which was then over a month away. Today, I had to contact her after sending her pictures after 5 days with again no response. She said she didn't respond because I had said I needed service done ASAP & she's booked until September. She never said this before, or I wouldn't have wasted 10 days with her!
