I bought my first computer through them and so went back when I had issues. As the other reviewer says, their service is incredibly slow and you spend a lot of time standing around waiting, and then they are very arrogant.
I have stopped going there since I took in my Epson printer, and they took two weeks and charged me for a repair estimate. They said it was unfixable, and no parts were available, and they wanted to sell me a new one. I actually phoned Epson Canada to complain that they didn't sell repair parts for relatively new printers and they said that was absolutely false. They said they could fix it, and got me to send it to them via Purolator. I sent it on a Thurs eve, they got it Friday, and Monday 8am they called with a diagnosis: dust and cat hair. It just needed cleaning, no broken parts unlike what Micro-Boutique said. It was repaired the same day and I got it delivered via Purolator to my front door before 10am on Tuesday morning, clean, working and with 5 new ink cartridges for $75 including the Puro transport.
Compare to Micro-boutique who kept it for 2 wks (I had to rent a car to take it and pick it up) and said it was broken, no parts available, and had to be scrapped.
I will never trust or believe Micro-boutique again. Slow, expensive, and they are untruthful. BTW I cannot say now how much I appreciate Epson Canada and go directly to their website to buy now (scanner, two professional printers etc) read more
