The Short Version: Computer store that sells some old school classic computers from like the 1980s and onwards. The Long Version: My husband and I walked by Dantech on our way back to our hotel after having dinner nearby. He spotted some retro computers from his childhood. I asked him if he wanted to go in and he initially said it was ok, but after I insisted since I know he loves that kind of stuff, he was like ok but I'll be quick. I said it was ok if he wanted to poke around. I personally have little interest in computers. Bits and Bytes, isn't that some snack from Mr. Christie? And RAM is like a male sheep, right? But why are you yelling it? Lol. But my husband loves computers. He really enjoyed poking around. And I liked the nostalgic burst of seeing some old school joysticks (I had an Atari gaming system passed down to me from one of my cousins). The store had an answering machine that takes cassette tapes too. And what looked like a VCR tape rewinder, lol. We didn't buy anything but it was fun to look around. Je suis une dame de 78 ans. Le vendredi 24 juillet, 2025, je suis allée au magasin Dantech pour faire transférer quelques images appartenant à mon amie sur un USB. Je me suis adressée à un employé qui n'était pas clair dans sa communication. Il semblait qu'il me disait " laissez votre iPhone ici et venez le dimanche pour récupérer ça et votre USB. " Mais plus tard, il a clarifié en me disant: " Venez le dimanche pour le transfère de vos images." Alors, j'ai dit d'accord. Le dimanche 27 juillet, 2025, je suis allée au magasin Dantech pour transférer mes images. Le technicien- qui refusa de me donner son nom plus tard - a pris du temps à connecter son ordinateur et répondre à trois clients qui étaient venus après moi. Quand c'était mon tour, pendant que je lui montrait les images à être transférer, il haussa sa voix et m'a dit agressivement: " je vous connais; vous vous êtes plainte contre un employé ici. Alors pourquoi vous êtes revenue?  Pourquoi vous n'êtes pas aller ailleurs? " Je lui ai répondu: " Parce que votre propriétaire s'est excusé. " Il continua à travailler sur mes images. En effet, il y a un an ou deux, j'étais agressée par un autre employé, et après avoir écrit un review à ce sujet, j'ai reçu la réponse suivante de la part du propriétaire: [[[ Dantech (Propriétaire) " Bonjour Madame Azadeh Azad. Nous sommes vraiment désolé de cette incident et le technicien responsable au nom de Sébastien à été congédié à cause d'un autre problème semblable au votre. Mon nom est Daniel je suis propriétaire de Dantech depuis 21 Ans. Je m'excuse pour cette situation et j'aimerais beaucoup que vous revenez nous voir au magasin. " ]]] Alors j'ai ajouté à ce technicien: " Pourquoi vous avez du problème avec moi et ma présence ici?" Il m'a répondu: " Vous êtes nerveuse ". Et j'ai dit: " je ne pense pas d'être nerveuse. Je suis ici pour votre travail et je vous payerai pour ça. " Il cria sur ma tête en disant: " Je ne travail pas pour vous. " j'ai répondu: " Alors, pour qui vous travaillez? " Il a répondu: " Je travaille pour mon patron." Ensuite, il appela le patron de Dantech, a menti au sujet de la confusion du Mercredi en disant que je n'étais pas contente de sa suggestion de venir le dimanche, et continua de mentir en disant que je l'avais agressé . Il demanda si il était obligé de me servir. Le Patron de Dantech qui l'avait cru, lui a dit qu'il n'était pas obligé de me servir. N'étant pas intéressé à me trouver dans cette situation humiliante et discriminatoire, j'ai pris mon iPhone de sur sa table et sortit du magasin, déprimée et insultée comme la dernière fois il y a 2 ans. Mon partenaire resta dans le magasin et continua à lui parler. Mon partenaire m'appela pour dire que l'employé était prêt à me servir. Mais j'ai refusé d'être servi par un employé menteur et agresseur qui a détruit ma journée parce que j'avait écrit un review contre un autre employé qui n'avait pas plus à ce Monsieur et j'avais décidé de continuer venir à Dantech à la suite de l'apologie de son propriétaire. Il n'y a rien qui justifie cette attitude discriminatoire et hostile. M'agresser verbalement et appeler son patron pour m'accuser d'agression afin d'avoir la chance de ne pas me servir en solidarité avec un ancien employé. Et je ne comprend pas pourquoi les employés ne donnent pas leurs noms aux clients. La peur de perdre la face en public? De toute façon, ce que cet employé a fait ce jour-là est contre la réputation de Dantech. Et je me demande pourquoi le propriétaire n'a pas voulu parler ni à moi ni à mon partenaire. C'est la dernière fois que je mets le pieds dans ce magasin composé des techniciens complexés et malhonnêtes. Un dernier point: en rentrant chez moi, j'ai constaté que toutes les images qui étaient supposées être transférées étaient supprimées. La seule personne qui avait accès à ces images était le technicien agressif, menteur et impoli en question qui peut-être s'appelle Zackary. Les images ne m'appartenait pas; elles appartenaient à une amie. La haine et la méchanceté de ce technicien ne connaît pas de limite. read more

Don't go there. I had a terrible experience all together at Dantech. It's a little confusing to understand but here is what happened: When my external hard drive stopped working I went to Dantech for help. They were supposed to look at it the next day since I needed some datas right away for a tight deadline. They said they'd called me the next day. They didn't. 3 days later I had no news so I called them. They said the specialist for my type of issue wasn't going to be there until in 3 days and they would call me in 3 days. They didn't. 4 days later I called them and this went on and on for 21 days. When I went to drop a new hard drive so that they could save my recovered datas on it, the staff was really busy talking together and didn't acknowledged me for ages before I asked if I could possibly have costumer service. After 21 days someone called and said that he had recovered 100% of my datas. I went to the store, we looked at the datas and only 30% was recovered. Plus all the folders were gone and I only had disorganised files (numbers) and no way to figure out what was where. The worst is that they could not find my initial hard drive, which I needed so that I could go and try to recover my datas somewhere else. I was then told that it was lost and that the technician who worked on my hard drive (and who might know where it was) was in holidays for 2 weeks. They invited me to come back in 2 weeks to (maybe) get my hard drive back. I told the clerk that I wasn't willing to pay as long as I didn't have my initial hard drive but he didn't recognized his mistake. He hid my second hard drive and said I wouldn't take it anywhere without paying (remember, it was mine!). He was extremely emotional, rude and unfair and we got into an argument. Eventually I said fine, I will pay for it but I'll make sure to give you a bad review. He started panicking and yelling and said that he would not let me pay and he called the big boss instead. He kept refusing for me to pay which was insane and ridiculous. The boss came, apologized to me for what happened and ask the clerc to let me pay and go. In the meantime my initial hard drive was found which I took to Secure data recovery and they saved 100% of my datas in 4 hours. read more

Worst place to deal with. They are the most expensive for parts and used computers. They tell you one thing on the phone, you get there and then be told a different price or they won't do what they said they would over the phone. read more

My HD failed and my last backup was months ago. Dantech associate Ugo was matter of fact about my chances at data recovery and new hardware options. I was not pressured once into making any rush decision, or into purchases. They managed to get all the data transferred from my failed HD, which professional utilities showed at 1% capacity. I know I was lucky, but their skill was vital. The price for data transfer from a 500G HD was about $60. They are courteous, professional and I chose them because other online reviews from women were overwhelmingly positive in how they were treated. YMMV but Dantech was real, professional and zero attitude with me. I would go to them again in a heartbeat. read more

Lost my datas. Did not tell me about it when I went to pick up the computer. Denied it happened. Very rude. Pressured me into buying an anti- malware software and charged me more for it then the software website! read more

1 star. Goof balls working there don't know what a display port cable is. Went in to get some cable, empty store with no customers and it still took them 1 hour to serve me. Do not go in here. These guys think they reserve the right to act how they want cause they work with computers. They do not know the parts they are using with the used computers there. How can it possibly be a decent computer. Again you will waste your time and energy here. read more
