Finn's is not a wine store anymore. Used to be you could find excellent wine selections there, so you didn't have to travel, but that's over now. They have a very limited selection--just the basics--and if they have a good wine, they don't have more than a bottle or so. It's time for Florence to have a real wine store. read more

This is the go-to store in Florence for variety of alcohol. Based on the website I couldn't even tell if this store had beer but it does, large craft selections. There is a small walk-in humidor on beer side. The wine section is clearly marked by taste palettes w signs. Looks like it may be set up for wine tastings on certain occasions. Opposite side is liquors, the prices are reasonable for products. There was not a large selection of mini bottles; the Hennessy is behind counter, I asked about the liter price, $64. Amazing selection but some of the rare bottles seem to be marked up from other places I've been.

Fairly large store, seems to be well stocked and fairly well laid out. Being in SC the store is seperated into two sections; one for beer and wine, the other for liquor. The beer/wine side seems to be geared much more toward wine, only desingating about a row and a half to the beer selection. Now, that row and a half seems to be jam packed with craft beer, but there was nothing that really jumped out at me. Nothing rare or outside of the norm. I asked one of the college kids that was working about a few beers that I was looking for and he had never heard of any of the three. He called his manager over, but unfortunately he was no more help than the kid was. He did say that the Florence market is not all that big of a craft beer hot spot, and he had a hard time moving any product that was not more mainstream. He really only was able to stock more well known craft breweries, and only thier flagship beers at that. read more

South Carolina definitely has there tough liquor laws. This is your go to liquor store as long as it's before 7pm that is. They have everything and anything. They even had some new items I've never heard of. Go on, take a gander and grab that long awaited drink. read more

Looks like it's well stocked in all the run of the mill alcohol. I came in because I was told there is a walkin humidor. Two words: slim pickings. If you're just coming thru here looking for a nice smoke, you might wanna look elsewhere for your favorites or call ahead to see what's in stock. I came in here in uniform (active duty) on a Wednesday...no one really looked enthused to he at work, nor did anyone offer to help. I just moved here from NY (for a job). These clowns said my ID was fake because it didn't have a hologram on it. How about you get outta this small ass town and experience other places and see that things aren't what you believe. He said " I look at ID's all day" my question is how many of those are from N.Y for you to assess my ID and think you know what you are talking about when it comes to credibility. They refused my money because this genius thought I had a paper ID because the one I've had four years (which expires next year) is not as rigid as a credit/debit card, doesn't have a hologram and can bend easily. Funny thing is that I've spent my money at this same location multiple other times prior with no issues whatsoever. This place is ran by clowns who need to experience other places outside this little town. Not sure if I'll go back to this specific location, but might want to just to speak to my "friend" again. Call me a "typical New Yorker" if you want but when you claim knowledge on something you clearly are lacking in, I will call you out with no remorse every SINGLE time. read more
