$52 got us Captain & Cokes with double shots, 2 sandwiches with fries & chips. We were in a rush on Valentine's Day, movie theater is next door. Seated quickly. Greeted quickly. Served quickly. Plenty of parking. Good portions. Good food. Good prices. Highly recommend our server Janessa, she was a sweetheart and so accommodating.

We had a party of five and arrived at Mick's at 4 PM. There was a few people at the bar and several tables full. The bartender was also the waitress of the entire place. She did a great job taking care of us. We have been going to Mick's on and off for eight years. It is clear that budget cuts are affecting the quantity of food. One of our meals ordered was a meatloaf served over mashed potatoes with broccoli. The meatloaf was cut up into small chunks to make it appear as though there was a large amount of meatloaf, but there was really probably one thin slice. Mixed in with the gravy. I ordered the steak and spinach salad. I had about 6 2 inch slices of meat. Very small portion of meat. The wings as always were still delicious and cooked as we asked.. very well done. One of our orders was also as cheesesteak which was delicious. As well as the fajitas, but they were also $27. For what? I'm not sure. I did ask for blue cheese and ranch and extra celery of which we were charged one dollar extra for the blue cheese, which should have come with the wings. One dollar extra for the ranch which also should have come with the wings. And $.75 extra for the celery. The bill came to 160 which was not bad for five people which included appetizers and two drinks. I would recommend going for the wings.

Horrible experience with Mick's and Grubhub. First, placed an for 6 wings and asked for no sauce. My order total was close to $60, but they still updated my to add a $3.00 fee for no sauce. Second, order arrived 30-minutes late. I know it gets busy, but 30-minutes is crazy. Third, all the food was cold. We order quite a bit from different locations. We know that delivered food is never as great as in the restaurant, but this food had clearly been sitting somewhere for a long time. Finally, the we ordered the southwest chicken rolls and these were closer to a quesadilla.

I have been to Mick's several times and have never been disappointed. On my most recent trip, I ordered a salad that was amazing! My husband had a cheesesteak and said it was one of his favorite that he has had.

Convenient and good location. Variety is sorta sports bar standards but nothing that makes this a 4 star place

It is a tiny building but they are doing it right! There is complimentary valet parking which was great because I have no idea where we would have parked. We were seated at exactly 4:30, and our server was friendly and fast. RJ and I ordered Downeast Peach Mango Cider which was refreshing and delicious. We started with crab and artichoke dip and beef and weck eggrolls, and our table ordered 2 fish and chips, the "Luxury" seafood pie, shepherd's pie, and the beef on weck sandwich. My weck included onions, mushrooms, swiss, and bacon with a side of au jus and horseradish. Yum, what a salty, savory, spicy combo. The roast beef was very tender and juicy. The fish and chips were all enjoyed, as were both pies. We did not make it to dessert but will try that again another time. We were in and out in about 1 hour without being rushed at all. We will definitely return to the Whip!

I learned later that this restaurant has been around since the early to mid 1900's. Plenty of parking in a large open lot. The place is very large and has one of the longest bars I've seen. The wood is very dark and you can see the chefs cooking over the hearth. They don't take reservations and won't see you until your entire party is there. One of the things I liked for our party of 10 was they had no problems with seating as they also have many large round tables. For mixed drinks, they make them pretty big and potent. For my martini, they sent back an extra glass. They also had great bleu cheese stuffed olives. We ordered onion rings (8 large to an order) and fried zucchini. The onion ring I had was pretty good. I didn't have the fried zucchini but heard it was also pretty good. Other than the light fare items, all dinners come with their salad bar which has both iceberg lettuce and Caesar Salad along with many fixings as well as cheeses and bread. I had the Baked Seafood Platter which came with scallops, shrimp, Clam Casino (without the shell), Maryland crab cake and a small lobster tail for $49.99. My wife had the baked chicken breast which she said was quite dry. The dining area is quite large and reminds me of the restaurants at a casino. Some in our group said it reminds them of Medieval Times due to the dark wood vibe. While I thought it was a bit pricey, I would still come back and try their signature steaks or prime rib.

I stopped by here yesterday with my family for dinner. We had ridden the Strasburg Railroad earlier…read morein the day and were looking for a place to eat when I fired up Yelp and found the Tavern by Spring House Brewing. It is located on East Main Street in downtown Strasburg. The inside consists of a large main room with an L shaped bar, a number of TVs, and then a second dining room off to the side. Since no one was seated in the second room and we had twin four year olds with us, we chose that space. Unfortunately the TV in that room was broken, so we were not able to watch the Steelers game that was on. Aside from that, the room itself had a cozy and slightly eclectic feel. There was a decorated Christmas tree lit up in the corner near the staircase which gave the space a warm seasonal vibe. The walls were decorated with brewery signs and beer themed banners, and a bright yellow decorative mantel stood out against the darker wall colors. Overall it felt casual and welcoming and worked well for a family dinner. For dinner on this evening I went with the Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak while my wife chose the K Town Mac Bowl. The menu described my wife's dish as three cheese cavatappi pasta with smoked pork slaw, Korean BBQ drizzle, sesame seeds, and scallions. My sandwich was described as smoked chicken, American cheese, buffalo sauce, gorgonzola, onion frizzles, ranch drizzle, and a hoagie roll. I thought my sandwich ended up being good, especially since it was chock full of chicken. The hoagie roll was toasted and buttered nicely and added a good crunch, which the onion frizzles helped reinforce. The gorgonzola added a nice pungent pop of flavor. While I did get some buffalo flavor, I definitely could have used more. Because of that, the sandwich was a little on the drier side despite having cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch drizzle. My fries were seasoned and had a nice texture, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I decided to go with a flight here. At Spring House Brewing, a flight consists of four beers and I chose the Cucumber Salamander, Backroads Shadows, Daily Planet, and Love and Rockets. The Love and Rockets ended up getting mixed up and I was instead served Grease the Poles. I started with the Cucumber Salamander, which is a sour. It was a bit tart right from the start and that carried through to the finish, with a little extra pucker at the end. Up next was Backroads Shadows, a lager with a crisp, clean start before the malts came through on the finish. This felt like a really good easy drinking beer. Third was Daily Planet, an IPA that had citrus up front followed by a solid hop presence that carried through the finish. Last was Grease the Poles, a pale lager that started off very clean before finishing with some lighter hop notes. Out of the bunch, the Cucumber Salamander was definitely my favorite. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Our food and drinks were good, and I would be interested in trying more of their beers.

Looked like there was only 2 servers for the entire place which was busy. My husband liked his chili, so that's the two star review. He said it had a lot of flavor. I had the brisket sandwich which was very small for the price with not a lot of meat. The meat had no flavor at all. Was not served with the au ju, which I had to ask for. Unfortunately, the au ju did not make it any better. The Cole slaw had a good flavor and was not sweet, so that was the best part of the food.
