We had our driveway poured in the fall of 2017. The drive looked great when it was completed! The…read morewater ran off in the direction I had requested, everything was great and we were satisfied. We waited almost 2 month to drive on the cement, to ensure it had opportunity to cure due to cooler weather. Before I ever drove on the new cement I noticed a crack running almost corner to corner in one of the segments. I called Greg and told him about the crack and he indicated there was nothing he could do. Now, not 2 years later 3 sections have cracked. I know cement cracks, but I really figured It would last longer than 2 months. Thinking back I remember questioning in my mind the fill material they used, it looked like pieces of left over concrete and the little effort they spent with the compactor. I wondered at the time if it would compact enough to prevent settling. Guess I got my answer.

Dominic has done numerous jobs for us. He replaced our temporary wooden front steps with stone…read morepavers. He made them shallow as we requested and built circular retaining walls on the sides of the steps arcing into the exterior house walls. Basically taking our ranch house from a plain entrance to a striking entrance. He also built a circle retaining wall made of stone pavers in our driveway, filled it with soil and planted a beautiful pear tree in the center. He also thought through details that we hadn't thought of, like prewiring the circle so we could have spotlight lighting on the tree at night. Lastly he replaced an ugly old retaining wall (house has light bricks and old retaining wall had dark red bricks) with a lovely new retaining wall next to our garage that matches the front entrance and circle in the driveway. His work is top notch, as is his crew. He was/is so nice and accommodating to our detailed requests and is extremely hard working, reliable and dependable. He also poured cement for the footers of our deck and accommodated our schedule. He also does a great job of plowing the driveway in the winter. We just can't say enough good things about Saline Landscape Contractors.
