Finally, last Saturday we concluded that the water was coming from inside the plumbing wall. I called Town and Country this morning, and was given an appointment for tomorrow, which would work, but require that we delay our return home. The person who answered the phone said there was a possibility that a technician might be freed up today. At noon we received a call from "Dave" of Town and Country. He said he was "20 minutes away". Dave came, diagnosed exactly where the leak in our drain piping was ( inside the plumbing wall). He carefully cut away the wood for access, in such a way the it can be easily reconstructed. He reconfigured the PVC drain assembly perfectly, and also rebuilt the under sink drain piping assembly. Work was fast and excellent...and the mysterious leak has finally been fixed! Once he was here, we asked him his opinion on two wall switches in a different room that were not working, and he stayed longer (while I ran to Home Depot for new toggle switches) to fix both of them as well for just a little more added to our total. The fan install was a little more difficult than Ted anticipated, and it was an insane night in our home as well (my husband's car was at the shop and he needed it for work the next day so we had to get that taken care of while Ted was here working) - I'm sure he thought we were nuts, but he was very gracious and understanding about everything! The end results look great, and I am SO happy our light switches are working again - all of this was done for a third of the cost we were quoted by someone else to just do the install and paint the office ceiling (we ended up doing the painting ourselves anyway).
