Aaron came to our home in St Joseph to look at some work we wanted done. He was thorough as he walked around our property -quite obviously knowledgeable about work we really needed to have done. He and his crew were efficient, polite as well as arranging room for us to get in and out of the house while they worked..... And there was a lot of work they had to do. We had rotten wood to be taken out and replaced. All of our soffit & fascia along with gutters were taken down and replaced. The difference in the before & after is astounding. As a side note, we have finally found men that show up when they say they will- and do their contracted work in the same manner. Aaron and his crew recently completed a large job for us at our home in St. Joe where a bathroom was added into a space carved out of part of a large existing bedroom space. This was a complicated job that required extensive plumbing and electrical work in addition to the work that Aaron and his employees completed. Once we gave Aaron the job, he was able to get a building permit right away and his guys went to work immediately. Everyone in his crew seems to have a very good work ethic. They showed up on time every day and worked diligently every day for us. Aaron kept me in the loop on what they were doing and texted me frequently with updates, pictures of the progress, and helped us make choices on the needed fixtures and products. He shopped for our products and, in many cases, was able to get better pricing than we could get for ourselves. Aaron seems to have a good relationship with his subcontractors, and was able to coordinate their work schedules with little to no delay. As the job unfolded, we increased the scope of the work to refinish the remainder of the bedroom, add insulation, and added additional electrical work in the rest of the house as well. Aaron was happy to help us with the additional work and completed all of it in a timely manner with an excellent result. We are so happy with our new bathroom space and all of the changes that Aaron's crew made to our home. Their work is excellent! I called Aaron's Handyman Service from the number on one of his trucks. A man answered and said "Hello?". I asked whom I had called and he said "well who is calling?". I gave him my name and said I thought I was calling Aaron's Handyman service. I got this number off of one of your trucks. The man replied that he was Aaron and he didn't recognize my number. "Of course you didn't. I've never done business with you. What kind of business am I calling here?" Well evidently not a great one. He told me to text him my information and he would contact me monday or tuesday and give me a quote. I scheduled two other quotes with other firms - both who showed up on time. Aaron did not call nor return my text. Good for him that his business is so good that he can not bother to return phone calls. I have a feeling that things would not get better than this. Aaron and his team have done several projects for me. They are efficient and affordable. They do too notch work as well. This last project was to changeover a number of light fixtures. Aaron was able to tell me about some "can" lights that don't need to be changed out. Never had I heard is these. They are awesome and now all these lights are consistent in my home. We also had a light fixture I have never liked and wanted to replace it with a "can" light. He was able to find what was needed to make this changeover and now I love the area without that fixture hanging in the middle of it. Can't say enough about their work and service. read more

I highly recommend Aaron's Handyman Service. Our project was to replace and repair wood floors in the living room, hallway and kitchen. We had several different levels of flooring and Aaron suggested leveling all the floors with plywood and then installing the new flooring. Hired Aaron to renovate a 3.5 x 7' powder room. Gutting of the small space went well, but then... Had twice as many floor tiles as needed but because he's sealed them before bringing them to my home, they couldn't be returned (even the damaged ones!); tile floor was not installed as I wanted; new toilet installed so it rocked when you sat down, and the 'finished' walls were not finished at all. At this point, Aaron bailed on me and would not return phone calls. Fortunately I'd just paid for what he'd done, even if it was done poorly, so he didn't run off with my money, but I still had to pay someone else to re-do the walls and a plumber to fix the toilet, and it was frustrating to keep calling and then finally have to find someone else to complete the job. Aaron says he's 'meticulant' and never had a complaint in 10 years. Well, I know he's not 'meticulant' (or even 'meticulous'!) and find it extremely hard to believe he's never had a complaint. Aaron is fantastic! He took on a very challenging job for my elderly mother. He never took advantage of her/us. He gave us a clear, solid quote and stuck to his numbers -- even providing detail of his cost. He was very patient with our questions and whenever I can to the job site he would climb off the roof to meet my mother and I. He would explain just exactly what he was doing, inform us of progress, indicate trouble he ran into, and ask for our opinion on anything of which we might add input. He worked very well with the building inspector on some tricky issues that a previous building inspector missed. He had to tear the whole roof off the home, and of course as soon as he did we got practically a week of off and on rain. But he buttoned it up as tight as he could and even came in the middle of the night one night to verify things would be dry. The guys he worked with were great, too. I never saw them lazy -- they all worked very hard, had great attitudes, and did top notch work. His finished work was outstanding! Everything from minor ceiling repairs, to siding, gutters, fascia, and roofing were exemplary! The house looked brand new when he was finished. I would highly recommend Aaron for any size project! If fact, after seeing the extensive successful work he did on my mother's home you can be sure that i will hire him for a bathroom renovation project I have! read more

I had a great experience with Aaron and his team! The job was to redo the facing of a fireplace. Aaron came out and quoted and he had great ideas of how to both follow code around the fireplace doors and also make it beautiful using grained wood for the face. He even custom made a mantel out of rescued wood which adds a special touch. What I liked the most was that I knew all of the steps that would be happening, and he also made sure to check in with me at certain points to make sure I liked how it was coming together. I was able to give input in real time about the width of the framing around the doors and proportions for the mantel. Aaron and his crew did a wonderful job roofing my house this fall! He was polite, knowledgeable, professional, and very dependable. He finished on quote, on time, and did a meticulous job cleaning up every night and at the end of the job. Our house has three floors and a daunting pitch. I had a treadmill that the movers couldn't get into my new house and they wouldn't take it apart to fit it in. I called Aaron and the same day he was at my house and able to de-assemble the treadmill, move it down to my basement and then re-assemble it. He also fixed the wiring that had become frayed and a knob that the movers broke off. I was very happy with the service he provided.
