I've had Korean BBQ all over California, and every time I try a new spot, I end up comparing it to Gogi. Nothing has beaten it yet. My favorite dish is the spicy tofu soup. It's the best I've ever had. The broth is rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. I crave it all the time. The quality here has been incredibly consistent over the years, which is rare these days. Every visit reminds me why this is my favorite Korean BBQ restaurant. If you're visiting Santa Maria or you've lived here your whole life and somehow haven't been to Gogi yet, you're missing out. The two sisters are always there and they always remember your name, which makes every visit feel personal.
