I have the agree with the other reviews. These are the best crepes I've ever had. There are both sweet ($10) and savory ($12.25) options. The patio is the perfect setting and ambience for the food. It had plenty of tables, a nice fountain, and is over flowing with flowers. Starbucks is right next door as well (but I'd recommend getting a coffee from Jean-Pierre across the street). We had the smoked salmon, herbed cheese, and capers crepe and the eggs, mergez (lamb sausage), and green CHILE (not CHILI ... smh Colorado). I was actually impressed with the amount of salmon but the crepe was a little over salted. Both were great but I'd give a slight edge to the salmon crepe. The only caveat I'd give is it is not the most filling meal so if you are hungry from skiing, mountain biking, or just have a hollow leg it may leave you wanting something more. Definitely recommend and will be back next time I'm coming through here (gotta try those sweet crepes!) read more

A fun place to try an assortment of crepes. I tried this place based on the great reviews from fellow yelpers and I was not disappointed. I tried two flavors: the turkey, avocado, green Chile and cheddar and the apple, caramel walnut. I'll start with the savory crepe first... Savory - this crepe had good flavor. The turkey, avocado and cheese blended really well. I thought the Chile was a bit too mild and I'm not sure but I do think it made the actual crepe soggy. That's why I didn't give this place 5-stars. As a native New Mexican, I think chopped Chile would work better with this dish. Sweet - the apply, caramel and walnut took me back to fall. It had a great apple-pie like flavor which was nice. I liked it. Overall, I liked this place and I would go back. The unique setting with outside seating is fun and a great way to enjoy good food, people watch and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. The crepe itself was a bit soggy for me as I enjoy more of a crunch. But, Michel's does offer many flavors and even caters to gluten allergies which is great. I'd recommend giving it a try. My family and I are on vacation in Durango so I decided to read some reviews of local favorites. I'm a crepe junkie, so naturally, Michel's Corner caught my attention. When my husband and I got some free time to explore, we made our way over to Michel's adorable little wagon. The only negative review I had read was about how the lemon curd was basic and obviously store bought, to which Michel replied that the reviewer was incorrect and everything was scratch made, so since I'm a baker, I was curious and ordered the lemon crepe, the dulce de leche & sea salt crepe, and my husband ordered the avocado, cheddar, turkey & green chile crepe. Michel explained that he would make the savory crepe first so we could enjoy it before the sweet crepes as the whipped cream only stays whipped for so long before pooling into liquid. I thought this was a nice and considerate touch. While we waited, we took notice of all of the Beautiful fresh herbs growing around the base of the wagon in pots. I assume that this is just one of the things that makes his ingredients really stand out. That savory crepe might just have been the best thing we've ever eaten. The blend of flavors was out of this world and everything tasted so fresh. The lemon crepe was OUTSTANDING and I would have to side with the fact that this is definitely a scratch-made filling...so delicious and tart. The dulce de leche & sea salt crepe was like Heaven on a plate. I pride myself in my homemade salted caramel, but this was amazing. My husband and I practically fought over the last bite. It's it a bit pricey? Initially, I thought so. After actually eating the crepes, I'd be okay with spending more. OMG. These Crepes are 'god made 'em' delicious. Like, seriously! I had 2 Crepes - a Lemon Cream (Sweet) and a tomato-basil-mozzarella-balsamic (Savory). Both were 'out of the world' good! Michell (the guy who runs/owns it and makes Crepes) specially insisted that I try his vegetarian Green Chili with my Savory Crepe. So glad I listened to him. The price per Crepe is a little steep but the quality you get more than adequately justifies the price. I would definitely, most definitely recommend eating here. Cute little spot on Main Street. You can order your crepe and sit outside at the tables and watch people go by on Main Street. The crepes were fantastic, big and full, and were clearly made with care (garnished with flowers picked from the flower pots in the courtyard). Much respect to the chef. It shares the courtyard with Starbucks, so you can grab a coffee then return to your table to eat your crepe. FYI it's just the food cart and tables. Seating is all outdoor and no attached bathroom. Starbucks is right there so it's really not a big deal, but good to know. read more

Michel is such an awesome chef, and his crepes are pretty good! Michel used to own a really fancy French restaurant here in Durango, but unfortunately it is no longer around. Thankfully he is still cooking for the people of Durango, this time his specialty is the crepe! His cute little cart is super convenient for lunch or a snack, and the seating area is beautifully surrounded by an array of flowers. My family and I ordered a bunch of different crepes, both sweet and savory. I have to recommend the savory ones (even though I love sweet) because they tasted better. I had the spinach, egg and feta which was pretty good but there could have been a bit more egg. My parents had the turkey with green chili which was really tasty; I'd probably order that next time. We also shared the apple cinnamon sweet crepe which was okay, but the texture of the crepe was very doughy and a bit too much. I watched as the girl who took our order went and picked fresh herbs from the garden for our crepe, while Michel assembled the crepes. He then checked to make sure everything tasted great. Great crepes. This is not fast food. Made as you wait and if the line gets too long you wait to place your order. It was worth the wait. I had the ole mole chicken and my wife had the mushroom chicken and we split the apple cinnamon for dessert. All tasted wonderful, the ole had a nice spicy kick but not too much. Came for a breakfast crepe on a Saturday morning and was delighted at the variety and taste of the crepes. I instantly went for the Nutella and berries crepe while my friend had the apple cheddar crepe. Both were delicious. The crepe consistency was near perfect with a hint of toughness to stand up to being stuffed and yet light so that yo did not get that "too much carb" feeling. The proportions of the fillings were just right down to the last bite and the decorations were delightful and yummy! Can hardly wait to try more. Highly recommended!
