There are a lot of places to eat in Deadwood, and I'm happy I caught a glimpse of this sign. It was a little weird to see that the restaurant was on top of a game store, but I'm glad we stopped in. I was a little worried because there wasn't anyone else in there, we may have just been in at an off time. It did fill up as we were leaving. The waiter was very nice and patient as we looked over the menu. There were tons of options, but they didn't have a combo plate which is usually my go to. The chips seemed like they were home made and the salsa was delicious. We decided on the shredded beef flautas, enchilada rojo, and steak and chorizo street taco. The flautas were good and had a nice crisp to them. The beans that came with them were a little dry, but the rice was really good. The enchilada was good. The sauce was a little on the sweet side and could have had a little more cheese in it. The street taco was ok, I don't know if it was the steak or the chorizo, but I didn't like the seasoning on one of them. Over all it was good. I liked that they had a lot of lettuce for garnish on the plate, so it gave it a nice "fresh" component. We will definitely return! read more

Had a bit of a wait after being seated but once things got going, it was a great experience. Small independent place on the second floor above a tourist style store selling an array of trinkets. Our server was great, food came quick enough after ordering. She accommodated all our request and was very pleasant. She was the only server while we were there and was busy. Food was very good. We had the chicken fajitas and our friends had carnitas tacos. Good chips but salsa nothing to write home about. Overall, ambience, service and food all were good. We would go back! read more

We loved this place! We ordered the Hawaiian Alhambra and it was delicious. Two of us shared the meal for $15.99, it came with rice, very nice fresh guacamole, beans and homemade chips and salsa. I eat here all the time. It is authentic Mexican food, served hot and fresh. It has a great staff that is eager to please. It isn't just tacos, not even close. So many delicious choices. I like the alambre the best, but my coworker prefers the flautas. It overlooks Main street and you can even watch the gunfights from there. read more

Kinda of dive as you have to go through and empty building, then up the stairs to the restaurant. Once you get past that though, I really enjoyed the place. Fresh made chips and salsa that were awesome. I had Birria Tacos that were great as well. Very casual, laid back and simple. Service was excellent as well. Very good food, friendly and competent service. But I think $85 for three tacos, rice, beans and a Modelo is way too much.

Lunch was a terrible Meal. meat wasn't seasoned shells were stale. Made me sick the entire evening. Don't eat at this place !
