two doughnuts with pink frosting and sprinkles

Yum, I am picky about my donuts and these are amazing! I got a plain glazed yeast donut, and my friends got a strawberry glazed and a strawberry glazed with sprinkles, and they were all delicious. Light and sugary, which are exactly what I look for in a donut. They were open until 5 on the Friday I went, and are cash only. The sweet woman behind the counter was super helpful. Definitely give this place a try.

I was in the plaza to get a haircut and it was too hard to resist the donuts yummily displayed. So many choices! Love that there are savory choices as well. After much debating - I could have taken one of each HAHA! I decided for the jalapeño ham & cheese croissant, Choco chip pastry and a blueberry donut. All were delish! Especially the croissant. YUM! And the sweet lady owner is so nice too. If I'm ever in the area, I'll have to pick up bunch of croissants and donuts. Until then, enjoy the pictures that'll make you drool!

Stopped by for a quick pickup and was pleasantly surprised at the cost and how fresh the donuts were despite it being 1pm. I walked in and was welcomed with a wonderful lady in the front asking what I wanted and told me how much is what/for a dozen. It's $10 for 1 dozen, and cash only!!!! The donuts were soft and not too sweet. Didn't taste old or stale at all. I was about to eat the whole box before I got to my destination! I'll be stopping by here again if I'm in the area. Parking can be a bit of a pain as it shares it lot with 3-4 other businesses, so best to find street parking!

I read a couple of the reviews since I was craving for a blueberry donut and S & K ran out the night before. Since I was doing errands around Santa Monica blvd area. I decided to stop by on a freakin HOT day to pick up some blueberry donuts. The place is alright. Inexpensive donuts and she also gave me a good deal. The only part that sucks is that if you want a regular blueberry donut you have to come in the a.m. They ran out of the blueberry donuts but still had the buttermilk blueberry one. One left and oh hell yeah I for sure grabbed it. And of course a few more for the hubby and daughter. They also had a strawberry it was OK not that WOW cause it was to soft and a little on the heavy side. Worker was cool and was patient with me to. I will be coming back for that buttermilk blueberry and if there is regular blueberry.

    $8 for a dozen

$8 for an assorted dozen ...includes jelly, twists, bars, old-fashioned, cake donuts ..Not a bad deal. You get a stack of napkins included with the dozen ordered too. Place is clean enough, no flies or gnats trapped in the display of donuts. Although, I love an old-fashioned with maple -they didn't have them this past Saturday -Womp womp. Service is good, can't mess up serving up a dozen (or I haven't been to a place that has). OH, don't be intimidated by the crowd(s) that congregates near the shop. They just know where all the good donuts are at in this vicinity.

I really love the donuts here; they're delicious and exactly what you'd hope for- classic donuts like glazed, chocolate with sprinkles, jelly, etc. Fancy donuts are fine but I like to keep things basic when it comes to donuts. I don't need fruit loops or cronuts or anything fancy; just give me something that is delicious with my coffee or tea the next morning. Love that the sign feels like a knock off Winchell's with the W turned upside down. We think Michelle's is better though... So happy they were open until 10 pm on a Saturday night. We got to see the sweet guy who works there getting everything baked for the next day. Leaving with half a dozen donuts made our Sunday morning very pleasant and sugary. Easy to park in their lot and good, friendly service.

I've been coming here for nearly 15 years and the staff are like a second family to me. I love this place even though the parking is lousy.

Went in for donuts, arguably late. Donuts were stale and hard. Won't be back.

Best donuts I've had in a very long time! Michelle also happens to be one of the kindest people you'll ever meet which is a huge plus.

Decent vegan donuts. Only a plain and one with a topping (forgot what). A bit too sweet but nice neighborhood shop and staff.

I picked up two of each fresh strawberry and fresh peach, which are seasonal donuts. Let me tell you, it's worth the hype and price. Normal I'm not a donut fan, I'd rather have an everything bagel with cream cheese. But man, these donuts are the bomb. I'm glad The Donut Man isn't close to where I live. I stopped by for a quick dessert and picked up a chocolate donut with chocolate sprinkles. I'm still in love with this place, it's stood the test of time. I can verify that the donuts are just as good as when I had them as a kid. I scanned the racks through their little observation windows, selected a bite and was quickly at checkout. I popped in on a Wednesday night and there was NO line. The dude at the counter was a little exhausted, but he was calm. I've had good experiences here. I want to try their coffee next time, all these years and it's still on my to-do list!

It's not my favorite bakery in Little Tokyo and I'd rather get Yamazaki's nikuman and as Cafe Dulce's name implies, they have a wider range and are more known for their sweet pastries (not saying that they don't have non-sweet things). They're almost always a part of the huge collaborations that Little Tokyo has, think the Hoyo slop stuff or the crazy Silent Hill one. Lots of art on their windows and they usually have a collab drink or something. Just know that depending on how popular the collab is, and even if it isn't, this place has lines out the door and is quite fisted. Tables in front are always full of people. Drinks are hit and miss. Every latte I've gotten, even with mixing is grainy sweet coffee slop and the matcha isn't too great either (way better options in the area), but if you have a sweet tooth for pastries it's not too bad. Decadent cream donuts, mochi donuts, savory sausage donuts, and creme brulee ones too. Shareable, but something I'd need to down with milk or some water.

It's light and fresh, not like the fake, overly sweet crap you get at most bakeries here in the US. I think I've ordered from them 6 times in the last two weeks, which probably says it all. Flour Fresh Creme Donut has been around for three years now, so that says a lot about how much people like what they have to offer. I naively went in looking for a traditional ring donut. You won't find anything like that here. They primarily have the Korean-style fresh cream donuts. Again, I was looking for a traditional donut, and the closest thing I saw was the flour twist donut. It was nothing like a glazed twist donut; the only similarity was that it was twisted. It seemed to be baked, not fried. It was very good quality, but I really messed up by not getting a creme-filled donut instead. My friend had a pecan roll and loved it. The quality of the product here is top tier for sure. The prices are premium, but the quality matches the price. They also sell sandwiches as well as coffee and tea drinks. I will certainly go back and try one of the many creme-filled donuts.
