Really enjoy going to Michelle's. Not the usually scary pool hall feel. Food is good and staff are always friendly.

This is a nice place to come for a drink and some pool. Not your typical low life pool hall that you went to years ago!

This place has plenty of seating and a very large bar with TVs all over. They have daily food specials, live music and karaoke. It had your typical pub vibe, dark wooden furniture and walls, worn carpet, regulars perched at the bar; the usual. It was a lot bigger than I expected.(That's what she said, ya ya) I went with the Fish & Chips and my friend got Wings with Sweet Chili sauce. The fish and chips came with 2 decent pieces of Haddock, coleslaw, tartar sauce and fries. There was a little more batter than I like, but it was still good. The coleslaw and fries were perfect; plentiful and crunchy! She said the wings were good, a little kick, but not much. To me, it would've been hot as she is a spicy gal! It wasn't until we were done eating that we noticed people coming back to the table with bowls of something. Turns out, there's complimentary soup in the corner by the fireplace, so keep an eye out for it when you're there. Service was ok. We waited 15min or so before we were served. A little pet peeve of mine is when tables seated after me get served first. The drink menu is all of the usual suspects, but sadly no craft beer. Everything there was extremely OK - not better, not worse, just really OK.

I picked this place based on what saw on the menu Atmosphere: B In general, a standard sports bar and pub. Apparently there was an entire hockey team that had a celebration, so people were saying it was a longer lineup than usual. I like the giant TV in the middle of the main bar area. Noise level was ok for a sports bar to be. The area where we sat was a bit on the darker side, but still bright enough light to enjoy our meal Service: A+ We didn't wait to long for our table, maybe 20 minutes. After a few minutes of browsing, we were greeted by our server. I feel really crappy for saying this, but I forgot her name. About midway in our meal, I asked her how often do people say that she looks like Elizabeth Olsen? And she said at least once a day. When I informed our server about what I wanted to order, she was very honest and said that based on feedback, the dish did not receive great feedback. I did get reassurance though that if I was not satisfied with my order, then she would take the proper steps needed to enjoy my meal. I initially ordered my meal with onion rings, but it did come with fries. I did inform our service and after reconfirming the order, she did bring an extra side of onion rings as was my order. The error was acknowledged and addressed properly. Overall, she was very informative and was always keeping us up to date with the progress of our meal, although it did feel like to took a bit longer than I feel it should have. Food: A When I was looking for places, I browsed various venues. The dish that caught my eye for this place was the soft shell crab burger. The pic on the menu looked really impressive to me. There was a giant crab that could barely fit into the burger bun. That's what pushed me to try this place. When I received the burger, it was definitely not like in the picture. The arms and legs that were sticking out in the picture were not there, and it looked like a small shell was all that was included in the bread with some sauce. I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't matching, I chose to ignore that view and still take a bite. In spite of not getting the appearance on the menu, I was very surprised by the taste. I could easily taste the crab shell with the chipotle sauce and it was delicious. I really did savor bite. Of course it could always be bigger, but the taste was so good I definitely was pleased with my choice. I provided my feedback to our server as well. My friend ordered a pulled pork sandwich and it looked pretty good. I was able to get a small bite, and although it was good, it wasn't anything that really stood out in my mind. Sides were definitely tasty. I liked the onion rings more than the fries. Didn't really feel like splurging on a beverage, kept it simple with a water Value: B In this time of rampant inflation, going out really is a luxury now. I have never been to this pub before, so I can't really compare it to previous visits to see if the serving size has changed. In general, I think that it's not uncommon to go to a sit down service and spend upwards of 30-40$ per person. My total bill came just under 20$ with tax and tip. It did help a bit with the extra side, but for the overall taste of my burger, I felt it was a fair price. As previously mentioned, of the burger was a bit bigger, that would have been better Overall: A- This establishment provided an excellent experience for a first visit. We went during prime time for eating out on a Friday evening, so its not really surprised for waiting for seating. Our server was excellent, my food was delicious and the service was too notch. Overall, I would definitely consider coming back here for a quick bite or to catch the Raptors when they start winning again.

It was a mingling type of event with finger foods, including Bruschetta Crostinis, Cheeseburger Sliders, Fried Chicken Sliders, Spring Rolls, Coconut Shrimps, and Assorted Flatbreads. I remember that I was very disappointed by the food, but at that time, I thought that they were just doing some experimentation to introduce interesting Asian fusion food in this culinarily underwhelming town of Whitby. Thought it would be a good try. So I decided to come back maybe after this place settled more, but then COVID hit. And we never had a chance to come back until today. Unfortunately, the food experience was even worse this time. And their beer went very far from my beer preference, serving a lot of beers with wacky flavors - looks like those beers are taking over their craft beer lineups. Food: We had # Charred octopus with seasoned tomato sauce, chorizo, Calabria chili, ink tapioca crisp. Well, Octopus did not have "charred" flavor. Surface had no crispness. The portion was huge, but the octopus was rubbery texture, dry. The tomato sauce underneath it was just too much for the octopus portion. Over-seasoned & salty tomato sauce with additional salt and spice from chorizo pieces. Do they want to make me thirsty to sell more beer? Yes that might have worked, and unfortunately it didn't. I waited for our server to order another beer but it took her more than 15 minutes to come to our table . # Jagerschnitzel : Essentially, schnitzel. Came with braised red cabbage, apple sauerkraut, Yukon mashed potato with "mushroom sauce". Schnitzel was endlessly huge but dry. Mushroom sauce tasted like can or some pre-made cheap & junky taste. A lot of mashed potatoes. Well suited for those who want to get a lot of comfort food to fill stomach with no intention of enjoying delicacy. Beer was OK. They have rotating beer selections on tap. We had tap beers such as IPA, Scotch Ale and Premium Pilsner. IPA was not as good, it left a lot of one-dimensional bitter aftertaste. If I want IPA then I will go to Town Brewery. Premium Pilsner was good. We also had Scotch Ale which was also good with nice Scotch aftertaste. Do I come back? No, if the food quality remains the same.
