I decided to look at Hyundai of Yuma and it was $22995 on their website. I contacted them over the weekend, and today I went in with my wife to look at it. It was a different color (which was fine with me), but it was the same car. Same mileage number Same features, Same everything. They just used the wrong stock photo on Tru Car. They did the usually car sales stuff, makes wait, get us invested, etc, but I expect that at nearly any car dealer. Then before we drove it they said, oh, we made a mistake that car is supposed to be $35999, and now that I am home they have updated the price on their website, They did offer a "deal" at $31000. That's still $8000 more than advertised. Like I said it still shows $23490 on the True Car website. It sucks, but maybe it was an honest mistake, except every deal I've gone to any dealership in Yuma in the last couple years has either just sold, or now, "oh we made a mistake." That's not the finisher for me though. They had another car a year older, with more miles advertised for 23,995, and it still showed at 23995 when I checked a few minutes ago. Now it appears their website is down. In my opinion trying to prevent the collection of evidence for this complaint. I got a screen shot of the price on that car. When I asked, what the real price (hoping it wasn't another "mispriced" car) they said it was $32,000. I was done after the first car, but we hung around because of my wife. She was interested. Now mind you this car wasn't for her. It was for me, so I was just hanging around because she was interested. I think this kind of behavior needs to stop. Its not the first time I've showed up at a dealership ready to buy at the advertised price, but most times they car or truck just isn't there. They claim to have "just sold it." This is the first time I've ever seen the price of a car jacked up so much. I have seen dealerships try to raise the price after the offer, but this is first time, they just came right out and jacked up the advertised price by 8-9 thousand. I was pissed, but I'm not the asshole. On the way out a different sales tried to bracket me into a price range. No. I wanted the advertised car at the advertised price. It wasn't about a bracket or what I can afford. My current vehicle was a $50,000 new truck two years ago. A 31,000 or 32,000 car is not out of my budget. During that visit, a new warning appeared immediately after the recall work was completed. The truck had no prior engine warnings during my four years of ownership. The diagnostic code that surfaced was P008B-00 (Low Pressure Fuel System Pressure Too High), which appeared only after the recall service and left me without my daily driver for several days. I initially worked with a service advisor, and while the situation was frustrating at the time, the turning point came when I spoke directly with Lisa, the Service Director, on the morning of 12/12/25 when I picked up my truck. Lisa went above and beyond to ensure she exceeded my expectations. She listened carefully, understood my perspective, and treated the issue with professionalism, urgency, and genuine care. Most importantly, she owned the experience from the customer's point of view, made things more than right, and ensured my truck was fully resolved and running perfectly. Leaders like Lisa are hard to find in the automotive service industry. She set the standard for what authentic customer service and accountability should look like. I originally saw a vehicle listed online and called to ask about it. Shortly after, it was removed from the website. I was told it needed some work but was still scheduled to come in and see it. When I arrived, I worked with Christina, who was kind, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process. She had been communicating with me consistently and advocating for me as a customer. However, once I was ready to buy and tried to negotiate based on fair market pricing, management stepped in and actually raised the price instead of negotiating. At that point, another salesperson, Jairo, was brought in to take over the deal while I was still there ready to pay cash. I found it very unprofessional that he spoke negatively about Christina and suggested she didn't know what she was doing. Management then told her to step away even though she had handled the process from the beginning. I specifically asked that she receive commission because she earned it, but I have no idea if that ever happened. I asked to speak with the general manager, Manny Rodriguez, since he ultimately makes decisions. He declined to get involved and left it to the sales managers, Luis Valenzuela and Emilio Calderon. Their approach felt dismissive and rude, and the whole interaction became uncomfortable and hostile. After purchasing the vehicle, communication got worse. Calls for updates went unanswered by both sales and service, and I had to call multiple times a day just to get basic information. When I finally picked up the car, it was released with no gas and no clear communication about the delay or status. While gas itself isn't the issue, the lack of professionalism throughout the process made it feel intentional and petty. Christina was the only bright spot in this experience. Everyone else made what should have been an exciting purchase feel stressful, disorganized, and unpleasant. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this dealership.

I told her it needed a system update on my car - that's exactly what the customer service with remote connect told me. Later I get a call saying they think they know why it's not working and they need to do a 1hr diagnostic. To which I agreed thinking it was something other than the update that I originally asked for. When they call me to let me know it's done, I go in to get my car and they tell me it's a $200 bill. For what? The lady comes out and says it's for the labor for diagnostic. But then she said that it needed a system update and it cleared everything that was wrong. Well didn't I come in specifically for an update? Like what the hell are you talking about? So they made me pay for one hour of "labor" for them to essentially do what I told them needed to be done. A one hour diagnosis was completely unnecessary. 1) She didn't tell me there was going to be a charge and 2) why wouldn't you do the update first because that's what I went in for? And then if it didn't work run the diagnostic. Scammers.

I had just replaced the batteries less than three months ago. I was directed to Precision Automotive by Accurate Automotive because of the diesel engine. When I brought the truck in Chris listened to my detailed explanation of my problem and decided to first check the condition of both batteries. His employee tested both batteries and both tested at 100%. I then discussed the situation with Chis. He said he would need the truck for two days, and then gave me a detailed explanation of the process that needed to be gone through to find the problem. And told me if I was handy I could do it myself, at least down to finding the circuit causing the problem. Then it would require knowing which parts are on that circuit to find the problem. At this point I did not have the ability to leave the truck for two days and since we were heading back home to Idaho soon, I would have my mechanic there help find the problem. I then tried to pay for the work and information provided but Chris would not allow me to pay him. If your in the Yuma area and information provided the need of service or automotive repairs you should give Precision Automotive, Diesel & Transmission a try.
