Finally, after two different terrible dental experiences in Denver, I found an honest and…read moretrustworthy practice to patron. Rocky Mountain Dental Group was referred to me by my coworker whose husband has been going there for years, and she spoke very highly of them - I am glad I took her word! Due to the first unfortunate incident, I hadn't had my teeth cleaned in about a year - though all my life I've been diligent about visiting the dentist every 6 months - so when I went to my last dentist I was hoping to remedy the situation and get back on track. However, the hygienist supposedly diagnosed me with early periodontal disease and claimed I would need a series of "deep cleanings," which I found out would not be covered by insurance, and would cost me about $1200 over a years worth of cleanings. I never had any issues with my teeth, and neither the dentist or hygienist explained to me what my symptoms were or made any attempt to help me understand what they saw that led them to this conclusion. I was already skeptical after leaving so decided to call back and schedule a regular cleaning (since I didn't even get one while I was there) and they informed me I would be explained the dangers of refusing their deep cleaning treatments and have to sign a waiver of all responsibility if I didn't go through with it. Well needless to say that really made me question their motives, so I searched for a second opinion. Immediately when I called Rocky Mountain Dental Group they made me feel comfortable. The woman I spoke to was incredibly friendly and helpful, and even got my x-rays from the previous dentist with ease. I was able to get an appointment within a week of when I called. My hygienist, Dave, was wonderful - he almost immediately dismissed the idea that I had periodontal disease and explained to me exactly how to determine the symptoms of the disease via my x-rays. He conducted a thorough exam of my mouth and explained to me every step of the way what he was doing and why. He said his job is to educate his patients and I really appreciated that. I now feel like I can avoid being taken advantage of again with claims of periodontal disease. The doctor also examined my teeth and assured me that I had no issues to be concerned about other than some minor gingivitis. They didn't push any unnecessary procedures, made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and went above and beyond in answering all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Dental Group and am so relieved I finally found an honest, smart, and responsible dental practice.

I originally was serviced at the Cherry Creek location since I lived close by. I then moved east and went to the Aurora location. Every single time I had gone there over the last few years I have had a different dentist. The team members must be playing a game of musical chairs because I do not see the same people working there when I go to get a cleaning/check-up. On my most recent visit x-rays were taken by the dental assistant, an x-ray body shield was not put on me to protect me. Not sure if that is a new process or protecting me was ignored. I feel that Just U Dental has too many shortcuts. My insurance recently changed and I was not asked about the change to update. Instead I was asked to pay out of pocket repeatedly by one of the doctors. That was the final straw that broke the camels back. I have no intention of going back and am looking for a new dental facility. The only reason I gave it two stars is because it is conveniently located for me.

My dental problems affected so much more than my teeth--they affected my confidence, my happiness, and the way I felt about myself. Then I met Dr. Safa, and everything changed. Instead, she made me feel heard, understood, and cared for. She treated me like a person, not just a patient. Her talent and professionalism are incredible, but honestly, it is her heart that makes her truly exceptional. She puts so much care and attention into her work, and you can feel that she genuinely cares about the people she helps. Dr. Safa has been a light in my life during a very difficult chapter. What she has done for me means so much more than dental work. She helped me believe that I could smile again and feel good about myself again. I wish I could find the right words to express my gratitude, but I know I never could. I will carry this gratitude in my heart for a very long time. Dr. Safa, thank you from the bottom of my heart--for your incredible work, your patience, your kindness, your compassion, and for giving me hope when I needed it most. You are truly one of a kind, and I feel incredibly blessed that I found you. If you are looking for a dentist who combines extraordinary skill with genuine compassion and a beautiful heart, I cannot recommend Dr. Safa enough.
