I have dental anxiety (don't we all) but they made sure to make it a great experience so thank you all. This is not a perfect 5 star review simply because of my checkout experience. They do not tell you ahead of time they do not take a payment plan, or at check-in either. And they also expect you to pay hundreds of dollars (after your insurance doesn't cover much like usual) before walking out the door. Not everyone has extra money laying around, especially with how bad the economy is nowadays. Glad I have a credit card for moments like this but still, it's pretty disappointing. Prepare to foot the rest of the bill after whatever you get done here!

I went back to the office and they assured me nothing was wrong and that I just needed my permanent crown to be placed and the pain would go away. Well I had the crown put on and the pain never went away. After a year and multiple dentists visits later. I have finally found the cause of my pain and it was a bad root canal!!!!! Wowo!!! Do not go!! They will not listen to their patients and assume the pain is not real. Edit: I finally had my tooth pulled that they performed the root canal on a year ago! My pain is finally gone. It was a bad root canal!! That the doctor told me to my face was fine and I was in pain for over a year!

Luckily, Dr. Swankhouse and her team were great. They got me in quickly and made the experience as painless as possible for a dental procedure. Dr. Swankhouse is great at explaining her medical recommendation in layman's terms. I explained to her my dental history and concerns. She, in turn, took the time to do a thorough exam and give me well thought out recommendations. Good dentists have to be good mind readers because its so hard to talk during a dental procedure! Dr. Swankhouse so far is one of the best. Ever time I asked to pause the procedure she new exactly what I needed - a break, readjustment, suction. Oh and the amenities. Yes amenities at a dental office. I was offered (and took full advantage of) a Kindle and headphones to listen to music during the procedure, MASSAGE CHAIR, and a lavender hand towel to freshen up when they were done. Don't worry the massage chair is very subtle. Just enough to relax and distract you from the actual dental work. Lastly, pristine cleanliness. Always important for a dental office but especially now. Quick medical screening and temperature check, appropriate use of PPE, screen guards for check in/out, lots of hand san and hand washing. I felt very safe here. Summary: Great attention to detail, focus on comfort, extremely clean, kind and professional.

The professional, well trained, and caring staff is a treasure. The procedure went will (with NO pain). Both the doctor and the dental assistant worked in concert. I came in concerned about a tooth issue and tried to engage positively and conversationally, but throughout the appointment I felt repeatedly corrected, talked down to, and shamed rather than educated. For example, when discussing when a crown had been replaced, I casually referred to it as "a couple years ago" and said it was done in 2022. Instead of simply clarifying the timeline, he repeatedly focused on correcting me ("that's four years") until I acknowledged the math. The interaction felt oddly adversarial and unnecessary. He also repeatedly described my mouth and gums in extremely negative terms ("filthy," "awful"), questioned whether I knew how to floss properly despite my explaining that I floss daily, and told me "you failed today" when I mentioned that I had never previously received concerning feedback about my hygiene from other dental professionals. Constructive feedback is absolutely fine and important. What was difficult was the tone. I left feeling embarrassed and emotionally rattled rather than supported or informed. I'm open to improving anything that genuinely needs attention, but patients can receive difficult information without being made to feel belittled.
