I made a reservation as I was in town and my left tire light kept coming on. I got there and waited 45 minutes. The service then came and said they couldn't get me in on that day. I am from out of town and needed to get on the road the next day. He said the tech was leaving at 6 instead of 7 but I got there at 515 for a 530 appointment. He spoke with the supervisor so they took time to assess the issue. It was a nail in the tire and couldn't be patched. He also said they didn't carry my tire. Extremely disappointed and somewhat irritated, I left. I will say that the service person was very nice and tried to be helpful. He's the reason it is a 3 instead of a 1. I traveled over 2 hours to Haag Ford to purchase my 2023 Ford Explorer Platinum. The dealership is not as customer friendly as our salesman. I had fuel injectors fail within 48 hours of purchasing the vehicle. Thankfully, it was still under warranty so I took it to a dealership in Corydon and they fixed it. I got my car back a week later. Haag Ford doesn't seem to stand behind their vehicles when a problem arises with the purchase. I also had an issue with a missing front floormat and when I tried to get them to get me a floormat for my 2023 Explorer Platinum, the management refused to make it right. I spent over $37,000.00 with them and they wouldn't correct the issue! Brayden Huber was our salesman, he was honest and not pushy! He is the reason that I gave them any stars at all. I definitely recommend Brayden Huber wherever he works! I will not ever buy another vehicle from Haag Ford due to the way that they have handled what should've been a minor issue. I had a tune up on my car done there years ago and they ruined my car. Ran like a top before they touched it. Stalled, got terrible gas mileage, and was no longer reliable after they did the "tune-up". District manager was no help. I had a rental from Enterprise which had a broken wiper blade, (and by blade, I mean the rubber piece that helps wipe away water etc.). I made a call to Enterprise and the rep told me to contact either Tire Discounters, Firestone, or Michel Tire Plus. She stated they would do it for free. I had called Tire Discounters in Newport, who did not seem to know what I was talking about. Because of this, I reached out to Michel Tire Plus, and got a couple of odd responses. First, I explained what happened, what I was told by the Enterprise rep, and what I needed. The man at Michel Tire Plus said, "We're about to close in 40 minutes." I told him Google had their closing time for 7 pm. Also, I had called at 5:17 pm, so if they had changed hours, they should have stated it on there. Second, I reiterated what was needed, according to the Enterprise rep. The man told me they were booked up solid this week, so they would probably fit me in at the end of the week or on Monday. This was concerning a wiper blade. This was something I could have taken care of in less than 1-2 minutes, and the man at Michel Tire Plus made it seem as though I needed a headlight replaced. Since then, I have returned the car to Enterprise, and they put me in a much, much smaller car I can hardly fit in. I went there on Friday after work after noticing that I had a nearly flat tire and was pressed for time due to having to catch a flight. I was taken in quickly. My tire was assessed to have a nail in a spot that couldn't be patched but they aired me up so I didn't miss my flight! No charge great customer service!! Called back on Monday and spoke to John who took great care of me. Ordered my tire and was able to get me done in time to get my kids off the bus!! Repeat customer at this location because of its convenience to my work. This is my go to repair shop for repairs not needing urgent attention, like a flat tire. I can just drop the car off and walk nearby. Customer service is friendly, and takes time to explain recommended work and it's urgency. The parking can be a bit a tight, and I would like to see the vans from the business in the rear not parked in the spots closest to the front door. The one good thing that I experienced at Michel Tires Plus is that they match prices of other auto shops. I found a place in Dayton that offered the same tires for $10 less/tire and Tires Plus matched this price, so I was a happy camper. Unfortunately, my good experience ended here. When I arrived at the place by myself, I inquired about whether I should replace just 1 tire (which popped) or whether I should get 2 tires for safety. During the entire experience, I felt that the people were just trying to rip me off (seeing that I'm a girl that probably knows nothing about car repairs). They came to look at my tires and concluded that they had "cracks" in them and that I should replace all 4 tires. Let me mention that these tires are less than a year old, and that I don't drive more like 20 miles per day max! I called my friend who knows enough about cars who came over to help me. He told me that really only 1 tire needs to be replaced because there wasn't much wear on the others. I felt a mistrust for the place. After agreeing to replacing just 1 tire, they told me they would call me once my car was finished, but the call never came. I was left to call them back 6 hours later just for them to tell me that the car was finished 4 hours ago. What a waste of my time! Overall, I don't trust them for an honest opinion and there's not much professionalism present here. read more

TOTAL LIARS - RIPOFF - AND THEY TAKE FOREVER!! I made an appointment and dropped off my car for a quick alignment. The price was $79 but they were charging me over $90 for some reason. That was ok but they called me 5 hours later only to say they couldn't do the alignment unless I paid over $400 to fix a bent control arm. I immediately picked up the car and got a second opinion - the control arm was definitely not bent and I was able to get an alignment elsewhere with no issues. Also, when I went back to pickup the car, the person at the desk was extremely rude and said they will probably find even more bent parts after fixing the control arm. DO NOT GO HERE!! I am not one to write negative reviews and usually overlook most bad issues but this one definitely deserved this. read more

I just had a tire replaced on my car today 10/8/18 (just one) after driving home (5 minutes away) I thoroughly inspected my car; which is when I noticed a bunch of scratches and nicks on my fucking rim (like I wouldn't notice). It's obvious the shitty mechanic (15 AUSTIN) failed to carefully remove the lugs. I mean, Jesus fucking Christ did Edward Scissorhands replace my tire? I never seen such negligence before in my life; I was reluctant of even giving this place a chance. I just took my car to the dealership I purchased the car from, to have my wheel locks removed a few days prior and I thoroughly inspected my car (tire, rims, body) before leaving the dealership; there were no scratches on any of the rims. I'm one of those people who pays very close attention to detail; especially when it comes to a pricey investment like my car. I was suppose to be taking my car back to (Michel Tires @ 272 W. Mitchell Ave) to have an alignment done, since there weren't any mechanics to perform the alignment while I was there; but I'm not giving them another opportunity to fuck up my car! They guy at the front counter was nice, and they changed my oil change in about 40 minutes (pretty good in my book). They were closing by the time that my car was done, so I didn't really get any information about how my tires looked, etc... I did appreciate the fact that they didn't try to push all kinds of maintenance and products on me. Ive used this shop multiple times for multiple vehicles because they are close to me. Many times just for diagnostics cause I can get the work done much cheaper. My van was running like pure crap so I took it here for just a diagnostics and they thought it was initially my fuel injectors so I decided to just let them do the work. They had my van a month and I spent just under $1000 on multiple diagnostics, multiple sensors, multiple gaskets, and engine computer replacement and when they were done I was still unable to drive my van. It needed 2 more parts and their price was too high. Got another shop to put one of the parts in used and my old neighbor changed a bracket and it was finally back running. After a week of it driving It I took it back here and was going to get a coolant flush, oil change and plugs only cause they had did most of the previous work and was closer than the other shop. After discussing price I decided to just do the coolant flush, It took them 2 days to do it. When I picked it up my van it would no longer respond properly when giving gas. It would only respond to the initial press of the petal and not while holding the pedal down. I did'nt get a mile away and I turned around and took it immediately back. They said they didn't do anything that would cause that. I informed them I drove it here fine its not driving in the same condition I dropped it off. That was a Friday, they never called back so on the 3rd day in the evening I called them and they said they did not want to diagnosis it and wanted to just refund me my money for the coolant flush and wipe their hands of it. When just a few months prior I spent just under $1000 on repairs. SO BASICALLY BE ADVISED THEY DON'T WARRANTY THEIR WORK. Cause they didn't even bother to check if it was even related to the work they did prior that was still inside the warranty period. I drove to my old neighbor to get his opinion why not responding to gas after driving a few minutes and he noticed that I was now leaking coolant and could see a crack on the top corner of my radiator. Mind you my radiator is only 1.5 years old and if it would have been cracked before they did the flush they would have noticed while doing the flush and tried to sell me on a new radiator and installation cost. I currently have it at another shop to access the full damage before I can determine the next step. read more
