First of all, every item that was available to paint seemed VERY overpriced. I haven't done a lot of pottery painting but I painted a rather minuscule box that cost $20, the last pottery painting place I went to had full mugs for less than $15. Also, they don't let you get your own paint, instead you have to ask for paint, which they only give you three colors at a time of, on a tile, so paint would leak off if you were walking back from trying to find a worker, which was also a challenge. Not being able to even access the paint really limits your creativity, which you wouldn't expect from a PAINTING STUDIO. Beyond this, the woman working there projected a really hostile energy, even being sort of rude to a child who was painting a father's day mug for his dad. She was also really condescending to my friend on her birthday, and we were all made to feel kind of stupid. The shop is cute and well organized but the overall experience was very negative, and I would suggest going somewhere else.

I took a piece to be framed at Michaels with an estimated finish of two weeks. A call was promised…read morewhen the work was ready. No call came, so I went in person about two weeks after the scheduled completion date. The worker could not find my piece (payment was completed at time of order.) She called her manager, and I was promised a call on Monday, as this was a Saturday. In the meantime, she searched one more time and found the piece. The frame was completed but the work had not been mounted and was laying in the bottom of the frame. Left it to be fixed and waited for the promised call on Monday - never came. When I tried to call the store twice later in the day, the phone system kept hanging up on me. I went back on Tuesday and the piece was still not fixed. The manager was there and was able to fix it while I waited. Refund for all this trouble? $11 store credit! Apparently Michael's policy is 10% regardless of the circumstances. I do not plan to use Michaels again and would suggest anyone with a framing project to support a local business.

I made a large purchase at Michaels at Christiana Mall yesterday. I was shocked to find they no…read morelonger offer any bags. I said to the service rep at the register, " are you kidding me"?! I realize that this is a company choice but I was still dismayed. Miranda, the "customer experience manager " was there and quickly defended the store. She said, everyone has changed to this now" . She went on to say that Walmart doesn't offer bags anymore. I have two things to say to this, I'm not at Walmart, and I don't shop Walmart. One reason is that I expect better service from other retailers. i don't expect the customer service to be so rude at Michaels but if you strive to be Walmart, keep up the lack of service and promoting incredibly rude people to manage customer service. She didn't stop muttering about how I could expect bags until I left. I would like to add that the young woman at the register was perfectly helpful and did not argue with me. She just offered the bags to purchase. Maybe she should be the customer see manager. I will gladly take my business elsewhere if this is what I have to expect.

After taking two beginning mosaic classes at Newark Arts Alliance, I ordered a Roman mosaics kit…read morefrom an Italian Esty Business, Intessere. This was a challenge for me of average artistry. I enjoyed the project and learned about the process. Though, I should have started with an easier kit. Finley's Art Shoppe was really helpful in figuring out a nice frame and mounting. When I created this mosaic, I had to hide the uneven mosaic boarder, and they did a great job centering it. After I get done my second, simpler kit from Intessere, I will have them frame it!

I'd like to respond to the review by Jonathan W…read more Unique Image was sold the end of 2022 so we are unable to reply directly to the review- which was posted 3 years AFTER the poster placed the order. The details here are important to understand. This customer purchased his own shirts and only came to Unique Image (Ui) to have them printed. He had the shirts drop- shipped directly to Ui. The shirts were counted in as is the normal practice. The customer was notified immediately that the 3X shirts were not received and he should notify his vendor about the missing shirts to have them sent. Ui offered to print the shirts once they arrived. The customer was only charged for the printing of the shirts that were received, therefore no refund was warranted. Not sure what else the customer expected Ui to do for him as we were not the supplier of his shirts. Had he placed the order for the shirts with Ui we would've made sure he got them. Not sure why he's chosen to post about this 3 years later??!!

In 2021 I picked up an order for our tournament at the event we realized we had no 3X 's . Later I reached out to them and explained the missing Tees as they were drop shipped. They asked me to provide documentation of the delivery. After providing the confirmation of the delivery they refused to supply the shirts and refused refund my money. They told me I should have counted and checked when I picked up the order . They clearly did NOT appreciate my business. It may have been because I was black or they just could care less about any returning customer. I now use Rush Oder tees. Take your business where you are respected not tolerated.

I loved their selection and found everything clean and orderly. All the sections were separated by theme which made it very easy to locate any additional costume props I needed. My biggest neutrals were that they just didn't have that many mirrors (only one small face sized one at the cashier stand) and there were children tearing through the aisles, knocking things off and running non-stop. All in all, I got the items I needed and they were a big hit. Thanks again Halloween City!
